They do excellent body work. But their customer service needs a lot of work. Their lack of communication with their customers about what's going on is obviously lacking.

Best body work...Used authentic MoPar parts on my trailhawk. They handle insurance claims from start to finish. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Wouldn't take my trailhawk anywhere else! Thanks Chris!

I searched around Yuma for quotes to have my driver's mirror pained (as it was brand new) and installed. I went in and the customer service was exceptional from the start! I met with Chris who provided me a quote and when I was ready I went in but there were no appointments until March 2023 and I was starting a new job. I spoke to Chris and worked with me and the mirror was painted and installed completely by EOD Friday, Feb 10th, 2023! I could not have chosen a better place to take my car and have the job done. I have had body work done three time on two separate vehicles at Smitty s and each time the work done was exceptional. They worked well with the insurance company and the process on my end was painless. They kept me informed and the finished work was as expected, like brand new.

I have taken two of my personal vehicles to Smittys body Shop and each time I have been completely Satisfied with the customer service and work quality. They keep you very informed about the process making the consistency of updates welcomed kept me in the loop.This time our truck needed work from damage looks amazing!! Very happy with over all service, fast, friendly and professional. I would Highly recommend Taking your vehicles here!

We took our truck to Smittys body shop for an insurance claim where we received an estimate that our truck would be in the shop for 6 days. Smittys took three weeks to return our truck and did so with a broken door! We returned to Smittys to see if this would be a quick fix where they said they would need to order a whole new part to fix our door. Our door opened perfectly fine with no issues when we dropped it off. We now have to leave Arizona due to job placement with a broken door.

When I dropped in for an estimate on having the roof of my car painted I was lucky enough to meet Chris, the shop manager. He quickly gave me a price that was acceptable and scheduled a time for me to bring the car in. At the time he explained that insurance companies often dictate that their "emergencies" should take precedence over "jobs off the street". He said to make sure when I brought the car in on Tuesday to tell the receptionist that he promised it on Thursday. Long and the short of it was that we didn't make it. But, Chris was a champion. He said he had no excuses why it took longer than planned and that he was happy I talked to him about it. Everyone I dealt with at Smitty's was most excellent. Though we failed to communicate perfectly, the work that was done is outstanding...except it was done so well that it makes the rest of the car look bad! Just kidding. I would not hesitate to call Smitty's my auto body shop.Okay, here we are a year later and we're back at Smitty's with a different car and a single vehicle collision with our gate. Geez! Our car is almost 14 years old and in pristine condition. But, from previous experience I knew that in Smitty's it was in good hands. And, again, the service and workmanship was superb! If you have to have an auto body shop, guaranteed, you can do no better than Smitty's!

Smitty's really took care of me. I was involved in an accident where the other party was at fault and had no insurance. So I had to pay out of pocket. Smitty's really worked with me on the price for repair and they did an awesome job on my truck as well. I could not be more pleased with the great customer service and the skill of the techs. Thanks guys, so much for getting me back on the road for a great price and an awesome looking truck (again).

This body shop is the real deal and professional to the max. A car rental business is in the same building next door down. It's a large modern building and business. The work was completed to show room quality. The employees are trained and professional. They keep you informed of the repairs during the entire process. They gave me an exact time for pickup and the great part was it was they did not rush to get the job done. It's was done right the first time. I highly recommend this business and you will not be disappointed..

Customer service was amazing. Ladies at the front desk were very polite and informative. The actual repair process didn t take as long as I had expected. I turned my car in and It was done in the same week. Repairs came out clean. Looks like new. Definitely will be recommending to others.

I have used Smitty s body shop for years now and they always provide excellent customer service. They re knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. They even have Enterprise right next door making it so convenient for their customers to rent a vehicle. I will continue to use Smitty s and highly recommend them.

Very capable body repair shop. The quality of their work is outstanding, the repaired section looks exactly like it did originally. They also beat their estimated repair time by a week! If I have any future body that needs to be done on any of my cars, I want it done by Smitty's.

Best body shop in Yuma. Had issues with my insurance company. They were on top of it and kept us informed with every interaction. Oh, and the repairs were incredible! Looks like it came right off the assembly line. I would highly recommend Smitty's to anybody.

First time to Arizona and I hit something driving up here on work assignment. I used the internet to find Smith's Body Shop and they saw my vehicle right away, ordered the part and did an excellent job repairing my vehicle. The staff is very friendly. They even offered to drive me home while repairing my vehicle. I appreciated the kindness, family oriented business being so new to the area. Extremely pleased with their formidable work. No one else I would trust with my car. I looked for places in town to work on my AMG and had bad luck with other local shops until I came in to smitty s. Shop supervisor, Chris, definitely went above and beyond and without a doubt took care of my concerns in a very professional and timely manner. If I could give more stars, I definitely would.

I've had all my vehicles taken here for work. Regardless of what you hear from those saying negative things just remember. We're humans and we make mistakes and every now and then we have a bad day. Sometimes we deserve a second chance. Thank you Smittys for all the hard work.

We have had the opportunity to use Smitty s twice in the last two years. The first issue was our 2000 Jeep Sahara was hit by a pontoon boat on a trailer while we were parked. Smitty s made it look new. The second issue was our 2004 country coach magna. The paint was fading and looked awful. Smitty s gave us an almost $4000 estimate. When they got into the project, they called and indicated they could perhaps fine sand the whole area! When they finished it was beautiful. And, the estimate was cut in half. We will always use Smitty s when we are in Arizona. They really are number one!

Two day's ago I took my 2003 Ford T-Bird in to get a quote on painting the car no body work . I was told by the girl at the front desk it would be $30 charge to have someone look at the car and give me a quote. I will be taking my car to Sutton's auto body today to drop it off to get the job done. Sorry Smitty's didn't get the job here they do good work.

Smittys at one time was the best auto body shop in Yuma. As they did great work on my Truck years back.I took may car here and they gave it back to me with a door ding and scratched hood, they said it was probable done at the alignment shop not there. A lot of other issues you dont notice until you look closer at their work once home. In my opinion they are now about Quantity then Quality. I will no longer bring my vehicles here. And no I DO NOT RECOMEND SMITTYS. My car has been worked on FORD, SMITTYS and FISHER Collision. By YUMAN.

First impressions are almost everything.If you feel that , you got the raw end of the deal, try else where, and then you will definitely know, was it them getting the best of you, or you getting to them.A family run business with honesty is the true," stand behind your work" , and won't wet your back and tell you it's raining !!!Remember, a real bodyshop, is ran completely by SOMEONE, not a spokes person, just collecting your deductible and insurance. The schmitgull family has always been more than honest, look around, some places have auto body in their name, yet, they have a transmission sitting right outside the paintbooth doors , paint don't and won't stick to any automotive grease. And , at smitty's, they're honesty, keeps their hands in their pockets. Sorry , it's just that my venting can be helpful, and you'll thank me later. Have a blessed day

Had a minor fenderbender, but some how recevied my car back with a broken window, which was not broken when I gave them the car to work on, they had to repaint the car 3 times because they kept damaging it before it was time to get back. They damaged the front fascia after the replaced the damaged one. Also they let the car die and charged it incorrectly. So the electronics where shot. 12k and 6 months later I'm finally over the rath of what these people did to my car.Services: Electrical, Brakes

Very happy with the work they did. They were able to work with my schedule since I worked so that I could have it back by the end of the day. Office was friendly and I ll go back if I need any other work done

These guys and gals have gone out of their way while fixing my van that was in a wreck by cleaning the mess that was in the back of my van when tools went everywhere. Did an excellent job of fixing my van and communicating with me throughout the entire process. Thank you everyone.
