Took my truck in for main rear seal and new glow plugs 41 degrees to morning and the truck started right up I've owned it 8 years and it has never started below 50 just wanted to post a thank you

This my experience with precision as for single moms or any female out here when we run into car problems car trouble we depend on these mechanics who went to go there license. Or renew their license we expect them to honest and truthful about any vehicles as for me I went there asked them to look at my car cause my car was giving me problems and they told my it was my differential I need it to be fixed save money they specifically printed out a paper with price to get it fixed. Mind you these are experienced people I save my money waited for my taxes got the rest of the money so they can fix the the differential I paid 1,210 this include parts and labor took in my vehicle they took one whole day to work on it I go and I pick it up and I still have the same problem and they inform me that it wasn't the differential now they are telling upper control arms that's what I should gotten fixed 1st and all I got to say these are licensed people who go to school that robbed a single mothers or females who taking their vehicle to get it fixed my advice to don't take your vehicle to them it is still not being fixed properly. Please take this into consideration and double check with your mechanics.

Chris knows what he is doing. Looked over our truck and gave us great news. When he could have told us we needed to do stuff. Very nice and helpful. Highly recommend.

Can't really rate them. They were so busy that they told me to make an appointment for 2-3 weeks down the toad. Can't wait that long to get my car in the repair shop. Asked if they had any recommendations for another shop, but they had none.

My Chevy truck was there for 10 weeks. They kept trying over and over again to rebuild my rear differential. I finally got my truck back 10 weeks later and the following day after getting it back my rear end starts making noise again. They 100% do not know how to rebuild a differential. They tried many different brand parts over and over again but would install them the same way (incorrectly) expecting different results. I wish they would have told me from the beginning that they don t do differentials and I would have had more respect for them. But now I m out $2100. I have a warranty for one year but what am I supposed to do? Take it back to them so they can play around with it for another 3 months? I can t afford to not have a vehicle for that long again.

We were traveling through and ended up stranded due to an undiagnosed issue from an earlier oil change. Chris went above and beyond to get us back on the road home as quickly and painlessly as possible. Incredibly grateful for their service!

We are all looking for value, honest and expertise when getting our cars repaired (or for any other service) and all that and more is exactly what you get from Precision Automotive Diesel and Transmission.I was traveling through Yuma, stopped for diesel and put gasoline in my diesel truck. The AAA driver knew the best diesel mechanic in Yuma and took my truck to them.Knowing I was in somewhat of a desperate situation, Chris got my truck in and had all the gasoline drained out, fuel handling system cleaned and even put 10 gallons of diesel in.Putting gasoline in a diesel engine can cost thousands of dollars of damage but Chris and Team fixed the whole thing and it was about $600 including the 10 gallons of diesel.If you want worry free auto and truck repair and know you are getting value, take your vehicle to Chris at Precision Automotive Diesel & Transmission.Service: Engine repair

Excellent service ar Precision Automotive today. They properly bled the brakes on my 2017 Ford F350 truck that the local Ford dealer here in Yuma were unable to do. Gone are the days when we could easily do this work ourselves, as one needs a fancy computerized machine to manage the brake bleeding process through the entire ABS brake system!I liked that they asked me to physically check and confirm I was happy with the bleeding job before paying the bill. This builds trust that they did a good job, which they did, and the price was $70 less than the dealer, who caused the spongy brake problem when they flushed and replaced the brake fluid.

Got my diesel truck worked on here. Just needed the transmission replaced with the one I bought but, the catch was they needed to fill out form so I could get the core charge refunded back to me. Without the form I wouldn't be able to have a valid warranty also, the core charge was over one thousand dollars and it was money missed for 1 year. This shop took an entire year to fill out this form. My truck sat as I called and stopped by regularly and only getting excuses in return. Usually they couldn't even answer the phone. The batteries were shot and fuel was bad so I had to work on the truck right after I got it back from the shop. The work they did was solid but if you have anything warranty related or if there is some administrative part to the service you need. Steer clear.Service: Transmission replacement

Thank you Chris!!!!!! I can only give 5 stars but want to give 10. I had transmission problems and got diagnosed first thing Monday morning. He quicky diagnosed the problem to a streched sensor cable. In a matter of minutes I took it for a test and it runs perfect. I have heard by word of mouth as well how Precision is The place to go!!!I am so happy! Highy highly recommended to anyone!!Thanks again!!!

Overall a good experience. I broke down and was towed here. They were all courteous and quickly diagnosed the issue. However they couldn t get the part until the morning. They offered a ride to the hotel. & then promptly hard the vehicle repaired in the morning. Only downside is as I left I went to check my oil and noticed my engine cover wasn t screwed back in. I brought it back and they rapidly remedied. Just make me a little concerned though. Overall still satisfied.

For severan years we have been coming to Senator Wash from New Mexico to enjoy the area. One year I had a problem with my truck and was fortunate enough to choose Precision. Chris solved my problem quickly. This week I had another problem and took it in again. This time in addition to the repairs I expected, Chris noticed a developing situation which would have resulted in a complete break down on the road, probably while I was towing the fifth wheel home on the interstate. I will always go to Chris first.

This team knows exactly what they are doing, going anywhere else is simply a waste of your time. Not only did they do a great job replacing my transmission, they are fantastic group of people. Chris and Russ may get credit as the face of the operation, but every person I met had the same great attitude. 5 or so months later, my transmission is running as good as new and i could not be happier with the service.

Traveling in our truck camper when we had a massive failure of the high pressure oil pump. Chris and his team never hesitated to help us out, even though it was the weekend before New Year's Eve. Had the parts ordered and even kept our camper in their secure gated lot over the weekend. By lunchtime Monday they had done their magic and had us back underway. Solid diesel skill set from their guys. Customer for life!

Drove from Las Vegas. Had a transmission leak. Chris had his team pull it in right away. Found that a transmission cooler line wasn't seated. Got the parts and I was back on the road. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend taking your vehicle here!!!!

My family and I were down in Yuma from Denver for a Mexican Medical Run . Missing work and trying to make a quick trip of it, low and behold our fuel pump went out on our 2004 Expedition. With time being of the essence, we called several local shops and all of them were busy and couldn t get to it, in most cases, till the next week! I ended up on the phone with a real nice guy named Joe who referred me to Chris with Precision. I called Chris expecting the same story as everyone else. I explained our situation and he told me that he tries to keep a mechanic floating around the shop waiting for such emergency situations. He then put me in contact with a local towing company, Right Now 24 Hour Towing , who was on site and loading up our Expedition within fifteen minutes after hanging up with Chris. Fifteen minutes after that it was delivered, diagnosed, and on a lift getting repaired. They were done with it and I was back at the Hotel picking up my family before the noon checkout. I was blown away! We were still on schedule! No extra night of Hotel expense and no extra missed work! At this point I would have given Chris and his team a TEN STAR review had I could have, but our adventure wasn t over...About 65 miles out of town, on our way back to Denver, suddenly the front seal in the transmission melted down and dumped all of our transmission fluid out. I had a sick feeling in my stomach and was overwhelmed by how hot it was out. I called Chris and told him where we were and what had happened. Thankfully Right Now 24 Hour Towing , came and rescued us with a flatbed and a passenger vehicle. By the end of the day our Expedition, with most of our stuff still in it, was safely nestled back in Chris s shop.The next day they pulled the transmission out and repaired it. It took all day and we picked it up the following morning. Again I was totally blown away! One day! Denver shops would keep your truck for a week or more for that kind of repair. Knowing that it wasn t going to be a cheap repair, I felt I was treated fairly on price and in no way was taken advantage of. Considering the situation that we were in, some guys would have hammered us.I know that Chris probably can t work miracles for everybody, but he sure did for me! We weren t on schedule anymore but it definitely wasn t as bad as it could have been.My opinion of Precision Automotive, Diesel and Transmissions is far beyond five or ten stars. Look at the sky at night and that might give you an idea of how I feel about this shop as far as a star rating. If I had one word to describe my experience with Precision it would be, Compassionate !Thanks again you guys! You really came through for me and my family!Scott McMillin - Denver, Colorado

Chris Moorhead and Russ Clark are great businessmen. Excellent work and expertise and at a fair price. Highly recommended from a trade mechanic. They are the only people I trust to work on my vehicles aside from myself.

I need to give a big shout to Percision Automotive!! Talk about the best customer service in Yuma, my car had bad tires and on top of it all a nail in one of them going flat fast!! Having a late night drop off box paid off instead of having to wait in line or first come first service!!! They treated my car like it was their own, fast friendly service. I will always have Precision Automotive handle all of my automotive needs!!!

If you are going here for suspension work don t waste your time go to Big Time Suspension and Steering. I have my trac bar, sway bar and my whole suspension done and they charged insane price for terrible weak parts. I have a 6 suspension and they put weak components on that have wore out a month after getting them done with normal daily driving. I talked to Big Time Suspension and they said they could do it for less than 2 grand when Precision charged 3900.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I give Precision Automotive no stars due to a few reasons. I took my 6.0 diesel truck in for an EGR delete, they charged me $950.00 for the work. My truck came back sounding way worse than when it went in. Chris the Owner/Head mechanic said the reason my truck sounds so rough is that my turbo's blow off valve is sticking and the turbo is leaking oil from both ends. Chris also said that fuel injectors 3 and 6 are sticking as well. Needless to say i was extremely aggrivated about all this. I ended up taking my truck Alexander Ford Dealership to have it checked out. Domingo the diesel mechanic at Alexander went through the whole motor including what Chris/Precision did and here was his diagnosis. Domingo stated that the EGR delete done to my truck was the cheapest one possible and was no way anyone should have charged $950.00 for the work. Domingo also stated there was nothing wrong with the turbo, Precision never reinstalled the turbo properly hence the malfunctioning blow off valve and it was NOT leaking oil. Domingo also stated that injectors 3 and 6 which Chris/Precision said was sticking were never even hooked up the wires were disconnected. Domingo's professional opinion is that Chris/Precision Automotive's whole objective was to do the EGR delete, overcharge me for the delete and scam me for more work as in a turbo replacement and injectors which werent needed. Domingo went through and fixed everything wrong and all that was obviously improperly done by Chris/Precision Automotive and gave me my truck back running better and faster than it ever has for less than what Chris/Precision charged me. I will NEVER go back to Precision Automotive NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!! Domingo at Alexander Ford is the only one allowed to touch my truck from now on!!!!!!Dale U.

Driving Florida to San Diego in a diesel 3500 Dodge dually 4x4 dragging a 26 foot boat on the Sunday night before thanksgiving something in the front drivetrain let loose. I limped to a hotel at the first exit and thought I was in big trouble.Called a tow truck company And driver said only one place to go. Unreal. Chris got in the truck, drove it 200 yards diagnosed it, took care of it and I was gone in under two hours!!!and for $100!!! Could have screwed me but was FANTASTIC!! Just bummed he is 2200 miles away!!Ten stars!!!

CHRIS was great looked after all my needs had to rellace my timing chains in my f150 it wasnt running properlt after that job was done then the throtgle body needed cleening and some finsl zdjustmentx znd we were off thanks to the mechsnic that did my job we are back home in cznada

This place came highly recommended. After 18 days of runaround, never again, they can't perform as advertised. Continually promised never delivered They cant find the parts on what legitimate transmission shop would have on hand AND CHARGE HALF AS MUCH,Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

The folks here assisted me in my hour of need. The rental car I had worn tires and one blew out.These folks not only got me patched up but also did it in the dead of the early hours.Outstanding service.

On the road and called and got in next day. These folks are friendly and helpful, problem I had was a dealer issue, but Dodge dealership wasn't helpful..... I'll go back to Precision before Dodge
