Integrity, Honesty and CompetenceWe ve been full-time RVing for ten years and the biggest problem we ve found is finding decent mechanics/shops for RV repair. We ve been disappointed time after time and often after being referred by other RVers to shops that let us down once again. Just bad luck? I doubt it, as the lack of quality shops is a common complaint we hear all too often.As we were preparing to leave Yuma on the next leg of our Spring trip, we discovered a puddle of liquid under our engine (never a good sign). Our roadside assistance network referred us to JR. What a breath of fresh air!He contacted us immediately, let us know when he d be able to come out and kept in touch until he arrived. He immediately diagnosed the problem, checked on the part, left to pick it up and then installed it and ran a bunch of tests to make sure everything was running properly.Noticing some other issues we had, he offered to take care of them at his shop that afternoon, even though he was fully booked for the next week. It was a delight to run into someone who is not only super competent, but willing to go the extra mile to help out someone in distress. Can t possibly say how impressed we were with JR and his team and couldn t recommend anyone more highly.

They saved us from being broken down on the highway. Got us up and running so we could move the R.V. then got us new parts and fixed quickly and correctly. 20 stars if I could. Nice to see a business that s built on hard work, service and integrity!

While Rene was not able to fix our coach, he did drive 50+ miles to reach us. He brought multiple parts in anticipation but ultimately diagnosed the real problem. He then contacted another repair shop that could get the right part and install it onsite. He even checked back in with us to make sure mechanic number 2 helped us. Great human! And he is very knowledgeable.

Gross Incompetence and Unprofessionalism - Stay Away!My recent encounter with JR's Mobile Service Inc. has left me utterly dismayed. I entrusted my 2000 Southwind RV to them, seeking assistance with what I suspected to be a transmission issue. However, instead of conducting a proper diagnostic assessment, they blindly accepted my assumption without question.Without any thorough inspection, they proceeded to pull my transmission and have it rebuilt by a local shop.To my dismay, it soon became apparent that their diagnosis was unfounded and their actions were driven solely by negligence and incompetence. Subsequent discussions with a transmission shop revealed that there was no need for a replacement at all. JR's Mobile Service Inc. had taken my word at face value, demonstrating a shocking lack of professionalism and disregard for proper protocol.Despite their glaring error, they showed no willingness to acknowledge their mistake or take responsibility for the unnecessary costs incurred. Once the rebuilt transmission was installed, they called me to tell me that the RV is still not running properly and requires further diagnostic. When I asked them to "meet me in the middle" and give me a complimentary diagnostic they told me to "Bring us the $5,000.00 and take your RV or you will be charged a $38 per day charge for storage."No doubt I played a part in this situation...I should not have tried to diagnose the problem my self, in the dark with no tools on a road trip. I also should have told the guy, "Make sure you plug into this thing and diagnose the problem."Their refusal to rectify the situation highlights their sheer incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction.I am thoroughly disappointed by the unprofessional conduct displayed by both the technician and the manager. This experience has not only resulted in financial loss but has also shattered any semblance of trust I had for this new generation of mechanics.I strongly caution anyone considering JR's Mobile Service Inc. to seek assistance elsewhere. Their blatant disregard for proper procedures and customer well-being is unacceptable and should serve as a warning to potential clients.Save yourself the hassle and steer clear of JR's Mobile Service Inc. -Robert

Every once in a while you meet someone who restores your faith in humanity. Ren� (spelling?) is honest, hard working, super knowledgeable and thorough. We spotted a coolant leak in our Class A, and a family traveling with us couldn't build air in their Class A. We tried our best to identify the culprits, but couldn't. We called JR's and they came out the next morning to service us in El Centro. We happily paid the 2 hours driving and service fee.He immediately found the issue with the other class A and started diagnosing my class A for the leak and found a stress fracture in the coolant line from the air compressor. Several calls later we had parts, he replaced them, showed me other coolant lines that needed replacement, and replaced them as well. He also identified a cracked belt that surely would have stranded us sooner than later. Shame on me for not inspecting. I had just had PM done at Borders International in Las Cruces and they didn't mention a thing about it. :(Live and learn on that! Do your own inspections.He replaced the belt, drained and replaced the coolant, replaced the lines, and showed me a few more items that needed attention soon.Good people are hard to find these days, if you need good people, you've found them here with JR's. I can't thank him enough.

We are on a trip in our rv, and we discovered a leak from our shower. We couldn't find it, so we called JR'S, and they came to us. Ernie was the nicest guy and fixed the problem right away. Rene and Johana, the owners we so accommodating. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

It is always difficult to find quality service for an RV. JR s was very accommodating with scheduling a chassis and engine service for my RV. They did an inspection, found a few things wrong, and ordered the parts quickly. They replaced semi-trailer wire harness, replaced the abs module, rewired a sensor. Took them like an hour to do all that after the parts came in. I saw a couple more semi's come on out for repairs.

Renee was awesome. Diagnosed the issue I had with my Cummins in 15 minutes. Had me back on the road in an hour. Highly recommend and would use his services again.

This was overall a fantastic experience with JR s mobile service. He was on time, friendly, knowledgeable. We never had the feeling he wants to rip us off, he explained everything what he is doing and why. And in the end he charged a very fair price for the service. I wish I had a repair shop like this close to home. (We had a misfire on one cylinder that caused the engine light to blink. No way we could have gone further without getting it looked at.)Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I would give it more stars if I could. The owner Rene is awesome dude. This is mom and pop. And they do what they say they do and then some. Daniel the mechanic worked with him. They took care of me in no time. Great people to work with and are more than fair about there prices. I highly recommend them. I m on left Rene on right.

Rene is the owner/manager of this RV repair business. He and his wife Johanna are super people. It is very consumer oriented. They truly want to help their customers. JR'S provide quality repairs at fair prices.

RV needed a new fuel pump. They replaced the fuel pump and suggested a full tune up to include new spark plugs and spark plug wires, oil change and filters - the works . I agreed to that. Then they called and said the throttle body was bad. This particular throttle body is not available anywhere. Then they started charging us storage fees. After a few months of this I decided I had to get it towed off their property. We put the old throttle body back on the RV and it started right up. It dIdn t run very well as it was missing a spark plug wire. Turns out they didn t replace the spark plugs or spark plug wires but charged us plenty for that service. I recommend not using this company. If you like being scammed call this place of business. They prey on out of town elderly people. They were given the opportunity to make it right and neglected to follow through. Do NOT use this business.

Rene answered right away around 9 pm. We explained our situation and he knew exactly where we were so he didn't feel we would do any further damage to drive back to his shop. He called in one of his guys early. Praise the Lord he had the brake drums we needed in stock and was able to track down a regulator for our air leak. He knew we needed to get back on the road so they worked steadily to get us moving along. Fair pricing and quality workmanship. Thanks for the great service.

Its some broker who doesn t have a real shop and have bunch of mechanic that he contacted with.So he will charge you double on the jobs and very good at creating bs invoices and changing time that need it for repairs every min. If you wanted to get ripped off then use it.

The owner, Rene is an awesome gentleman, this is the second time we have used his service. The first time he came out to a rest area to work on our drive line-he basically custom rebuilt it. He had a special bracket built! Also today he found an electrical problem that no one else has been able to find!! We are so impressed!! His son and his employee are fantastic also!! It is difficult to find good mechanics now a days but this business is A plus!!!Service: Electrical

Dont Call that mechanic if u want to call make sure Parts are new They charged full price even. he replace with used parts and say only 1 is available whole Area and after i see the replied by your team i read your what they write . At that time when u install the left air bag in my trailer and your team charged me up to $500 dollers For just used Air bag .. i told u that this is used air bag But u said me no i have only one no body have in this area And today u are arguing with me Don t be clever

They are extremely busy but still very easy to get ahold of and JR tries to help as many as he can.We are from out of state and he made arrangements to get our motorhome repaired. He's is very competent and explains everything he doing.

Had a high pressure fuel line break on our motorhome with a 8.3 Cummins just east of Yuma, drove it into Yuma where JR took care of us on a Sunday before Thanksgiving. Thanks to JR we were back up and running in no time and continued our Thanksgiving trip to the dunes.
