Here's a review for the work done by Desert Automotive and Diesel:"I recently had my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel serviced at Desert Automotive and Diesel, and I couldn't be more impressed with their expertise and efficiency. After two other shops, including a Dodge service center, failed to diagnose why my engine would sometimes not start, Curtis at Desert Automotive quickly identified the issue within 30 minutes a faulty lift pump. He promptly replaced it and discovered that the second fuel pump in the tank was also not functioning. Despite the complexity of the problem, Curtis had my truck repaired in less than two days, showcasing his exceptional skill and dedication to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Desert Automotive and Diesel for their prompt, reliable, and expert service."Thank You Curtis!

I took my 2015 Jeep Wrangler to Curtis for overheating and what I thought was an exhaust leak, but what turned out to be a bad rocker arm and damaged cam shaft. Curtis diagnosed the issue quickly, gave me a complete and accurate quote, and finished the job exactly when he said he would at that price. He also took the time to show me the damaged parts that had to be replaced and explained what had caused the damage in the first place. Going to the mechanic is like going to the dentist...never fun. But I walked away feeling I was treated fairly and got what I paid for. I think anybody living in the Foothills should give Desert Automotive & Diesel a chance. I know I'll be going back when the need arises.

If you re looking for a Honest, Reliable, Fast Auto/ Truck Mechanic! Yes this is a RARE thing in todays world. This family man backs his Owner operated shop with pride and professionalism. Curtis was as upfront and informative as possible. Kept me fully informed and updated with the work, results of the troubleshooting, along with amount of growth work required, and cost prior to proceeding. Had a great experience with Desert Automotive and Diesel. Curtis is honest and upfront with repairs. He charges fair prices and he gives good explanations of what is happening in your car. I won t be going anywhere else in Yuma.

I needed a steering knuckle replacement and cannot say enough positive about Curtis the owner of this business. He had us in immediately and my car was repaired quickly and reasonably priced. His professionalism is beyond any I ve encountered in a long time. I highly recommend this business and will never use another mechanic again. Curtis did an awesome job on my Jeep. Came in a couple months ago, ended up getting a rocker replaced in the engine. He diagnosed the problem right away and had it fixed in no time. I highly recommend desert automotive and Curtis s work. He s straight forward and honest about what needs to be done, which I believe are awesome traits to have in the automotive world. Had a fantastic experience with this shop. Had issues with my Jeep and took it to Curtis to diagnose. Left it overnight and received an email quote with pictures the next morning. Have him the go-ahead and got it back the next day. Very knowledgeable and a great person to deal with. Highly recommend Curtis and Desert Automotive and Diesel. Wish you all the success.

Curtis saved me hundreds of dollars by quickly catching a misdiagnosis I received from another shop. I went from being told I needed a new starter to just needing a new battery for my car. The battery was only about a year old but was bad. He is honest and knows his stuff! I highly recommend Curtis/Desert Automotive and Diesel for your car repair needs.

I'm old school and very suspicious of todays auto mechanics. I took a leap of faith on Curtis because of the positive reviews. He resolved my diesel fuel leak, broke down the estimate and finished the job very quickly.For the folks out there who think car/truck repair is cheap/easy, it's not. If it was, we wouldn't need auto mechanics.I was happy to pay for Curtiss service. If you're in the foothills, take your auto to him. Good egg!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Curtis has been my families go to mechanic for years. He is honest, reliable and forthcoming. He's good at trouble shooting, fine details and explaining changes and estimates. I had a great experiance at Desert Automive and Diesel.Curtis was curtious and explained what he was going to do for the repair on my Diesel pick-up. It is hard to find mechanic shops who do not take advantage!. He was very patient and answered all my questions. He detailed an estimate, over the phone, and the cost was less, told me why it was less.Curtis showed me the part he replaced. Curtis also did the work in a timely manner.Due to the excellent customer service, I will take my truck back to Curtis when needed.Thank you!!

I intended to write a glowing positive report on My experience with Curtis and the work he did on My 2016 ram 3500.Having been a mechanic myself and a Shop Forman at the largest Peterbilt dealership in the U,S.
