This shop was great. I had fairly urgent brake issues on day one of a road trip coming over the hill from San Diego. They took care of me promptly, efficiently and fairly. And they were really pleasant people to work with. Highly recommended.

Outstanding customer service! Excellent prices! I highly recommend this business if you need just about anything chassis related! As busy as it was they still managed to get me in on a Friday morning and brakes complete before lunch! And saved me a few hundred bucks over other quotes!

Arizona Brake & Auto service was a great help for us with my mother's van. We showed up at 10:58am with a "shudder" in the brakes that was a good sign of warped rotors. They provided a quick initial diagnosis that was the case, and we approved the work at the cost estimate they provided, and they got right to work.We walked nextdoor to La Fonda for a quick bite to eat, and walked back over to the shop. By noon they had finished all the work, and at probably about $200-$250 cheaper than we were quoted at another place.I can fully endorse Arizona Brake Auto service, and trusted them to take care of my mom's car (and will with my own)!!?

Great service today. Went in for brake problems. They immediately went to work, made the repairs and I was out in 1 hour and way cheaper than I expected. I'll be taking all of my vehicles here.

Squeezed me in last minute which was awesome. While I waited and my toddler was not in the best mood, they have him a hot wheel car and let us walk around to see the other cool cars and giant truck in the lot. We were in and out in under 40 minutes. Solid work from solid and honest guys. Thanks!

I drive my 40 year old truck all over the place and do most of my own work so it makes me nervous to turn it over to anyone else, even though it was just an alignment. $20 bucks less than another outfit within shouting distance and they didn't let me sit around all day. If you drive an older modified vehicle, or hot rod you've probably found shops that can't figure out how to open the hood. I'd highly recommend this place.

Great dudes. Between everyone there, I m sure they could handle any job. They ve taken care of an intercooler pipe and brakes for me and both times worked fast, did it right, and didn t charge an arm and a leg.

Scott was freaking awesome! I had a problem with my breaks and he gave a upfront cost estimate if it was one problem or another, got to work right away and was done in about 15-20 mins! Plus he does AC too!

I was told by another auto shop that I needed new brakes all the way around. Took my vehicle to AZ Brake Auto Services and they determined I only needed front brake pads changed. Very honest, fair pricing.. highly recommend!

I have taken both my car and my truck here in the past few months. Scott and his team always do great work, on time and at great value. Also it's the first time since my lift was installed that you can see that it's in alignment. Needed to get my brakes replaced called Friday afternoon was able to make an appointment for Saturday morning. I arrived to my appointment 30 mins early and they were able to start right away and finished in an hour. Scott was extremely kind and funny. Will definitely be going back to them if I need more brake repair in the future. Definitely recommend.Service: Brakes

This was my first time coming here (Dec 2020). I brought my Ford Focus in to have the front brake pads and rear shoes replaced. My previous mechanic from Pep Boys said I needed to have them replaced soon. When I brought my car here, it was determined that I only needed to replace the front pads but the rear shoes on the back were still good. I appreciate Scott and his mechanic for being honest and not trying to upsale their customers for unneeded services. I Highly recommend this place if you're looking for good honest work for reasonable prices. Keep up the good work guys!!!Service: Brakes

Scott was the only mechanic open on a Saturday and willing to take on an emergency brake job. Not only did he get my brakes done in the same day, he stayed well after closing to finish the job and made sure my schedule was priority. Knowing cars, we expected around $900 for repairs, especially on a weekend, but Scott charged us half that and our beautiful brick on wheels is back on the road and ready to go offroading safely! What a great shop! Owner was great and his crew are great! Kudos to them! Recently arrived in area and thought I may need to replace my brake pads. Technician pulled wheels and determined that they did not need replacing, just clean out the built up gunk. Owner said if I insisted, they would replace pads but it was really unnecessary. Wow!! Honest mechanics and shop owner!! How great is that!? I will definitely do more business here! Definitely recommend these guys for your brake issues and anything else that they do! My car has needed breaks for a while, I ended up buying my brakes and Rotors with the Intention of doing them myself, but I have been so busy at work I wasn t able to get around to it. I looked up brake places to see if they could just install the ones I had already bought. I was told no by 3 other shops. After having no luck I looked one more time and decided to give Arizona brake auto services center a callScott was very polite! He not only installed my brakes but replaced my caliber as well. The price was way less than anything I was quoted and was fair. I dropped my car off at 10 and it was done before I could finish the movie I started. Recently visited these guys because of a front end suspension issue that was destroying my tires. By the time we were done, they had an estimate of $1,600 all of which had been done just 8k miles before by a tried and true mechanic. My first bad experience with a NAPA Certified shop. Following day went across the street and they said only lower passenger ball joint worn.... Alignment complete allowing me to return to my tried and true mechanic Qualified Automotive in Las Vegas NV

This place was great. I took my car to have the brakes and rotors replaced and they are awesome there. The owner is very friendly and kept me informed of exactly what would happen to my car. I took the truck in for an alignment after having an axle conversion done on my f250 and things were really out of wack. They managed to just about get everything spot on and even bled my brakes as I requested last minute (my bad). Price was extremely fair and they also got me in last minute before my trip to California towing 8k. Been a few days and everything is still great except a tiny bit of pull to the left slightly. Was gonna give them a call just to make sure everything is still in alignment.ANOTHER 5 STAR REVIEW*Came back again to have a new/way better steering gearbox installed. They called me 40 minutes later to tell me there's some bolts that needed some major tightening and they just wanted to let me know. Gave them the green light and picked up my truck 3 hrs later and wow. HUGE difference my steering is alot better because of the gearbox yes, but tightening those bolts made my ride quality improve a ton and I no longer have popping noises or thuds from my suspension. They definitely look out for their customers and go beyond. Thank you!

Made a call to AZ Brake Auto Services Center and asked Scott if I could come in for a Brake Inspection (Due to miles, wanted a second opinion on how they were wearing.). He said it would be OK to come in then. Scott politely came out an inspected front/rear pads and disc's. And gave his assessment that we had about 25-35% more wear on the pads. (Fronts being a bit more worn then rears.). Confirmed that the brakes would make a 'wear squeal' sound, if I let them go that far. And also felt we should not bother turning front rotors when we eventually replace the pads - but to just go ahead and put new front rotors on at that time. --- Overall this matched my assessment on wear, as I was talking with my wife before going into see Scott. (We're traveling a bit, and I wanted the second opinion that we had enough pad material left to safely travel for several more thousand miles. I felt we did, and Scott's assessment reinforced this.) So refreshing to go into a shop, and get honest and professional input on car maintenance. We're not living in Yuma, we're snowbirds, but really hoping that the pads safely last long enough unit we return to Yuma in Nov/Dec timeframe - to have Scott and his crew do our brake job. My friend Thomas highly recommended I have my high performance brakes done at Arizona Brake and Wheel. I called and Scott picked up the phone on the second ring. He was very professional and had a very good idea of what I needed and the type of brakes Required. I took the car in and it was greeted as I was pulling in. Choose this shop! I was traveling past Yuma on the 8 when started having an urgent wheel issue. The friendly owner took great care and keeps a fine shop. The expert mechanic here diagnosed and repaired my problem quickly and with a high level of skill. Quality workmanship.He even found and remedied a problem on another part of the truck that had been squeaking for months. Now my truck is driving smooth and feels new.I was in and out of there and the bill was easy on my wallet. Watch out for the jackalope.

Scott and the guys are amazing! Helped me and my family out when the RV generator died on the start of our cross country trip! No A/C in Yuma!!! They dropped what they were doing and got to work on our problem immediately. They even worked around a few challenges that came up and found a creative way to get us on the road. He didn't gouge me even though I was in tough spot and most shops would have seen $$$. We made it to Georgia Scott!! Thank you again. I can't say how much we appreciate you guys! I would send my grandma there in a second!

I went strictly on the reviews for this place. When I went to Brake Masters in Havasu a few weeks back it was an absolute nightmare. After 3 days in Havasu, I ended up driving all the way back to Quartzsite with my brakes almost completely gone.I called Arizona Brake and Scott made sure he could get the master cylinder for my Acura MDX and set me up with an appointment.I got to the shop just before 9 am, which was my appt time. His mechanic had my vehicle done and ready to go in no time. (Probably because I had to wait for my car and they were sick of listening to me....lol)Seriously tho, I was done in no time and it was less expensive. What a relief to walk out and have brakes! They are a great shop!!

In mid-February 2020, I heard a sound from my right front wheel that sounded like metal on metal or the brake wear indicator. I researched a few brake companies and decided to go to Arizona Brake because they had very positive reviews.I can tell you, without a doubt, Arizona Brake is at the top of the customer service scale for me. I spoke with and met the owner, Scott Stanhope. He and his staff definitely lived up to the company's motto "Serving Yuma With Honest Reliable Service Since 1951". The staff conducted the inspection and Scott did not charge me for that service.As it turned out, there was no issue with my brakes, Arizona Brake pulled off the wheels and inspected all my brakes and informed me there were no issues and that I still had 80% life left on my brake pads. It must have been a simple issue of a piece of pee gravel or small road debris that temporarily caused the noise because I have heard no noise since.I highly recommend, without hesitation, Arizona Brake for your next stop to get complete auto care, including alignments, tune-ups, suspensions, lift kits, A/C and brake services. I will definitely recommend this company to all my friends and acquaintances here in Yuma. They treat you with respect and honesty.

This is just our experience and the following is an accurate account of such. My husband and I have lived all over the U.S. and consider ourselves reasonable people but our dealings with Arizona Brake in Yuma have been the most difficult, dishonest, and unprofessional automotive/customer service experience we have ever had. Scott and Brian have had two of our vehicles for 6 plus months. Scott s shop (AZ Brake Auto Services) replaced the brake pads on my husband s truck...two weeks later the brakes locked up and he rolled it. After that event, we were kind enough to try and help Brian who had started what was supposed to be Yuma s next high-end diesel shop (American Diesel). The shop closed just 4 months after opening. Before it did, the shop disassembled my husband s custom twin turbo/billet everything truck and scrapped a substantial number of parts without even notifying us (frame, gauges, dash, radio, door switches, lights, etc...). To correct the egregious error and avoid a lawsuit, Brian offered to get some body work done on a Jeep we own. 3 months later we re still right where we started. The story gets worse but we will defer disclosure of any additional details with the hope that Scott and Brian will man up and get this resolved. I will remove this review and provide an update as to any resolution if it happens. Until then-if this review is up-I strongly recommend any potential or current clients stay away...especially if you re active duty military.
