I brought my car in while in Yuma last month. I was in from out of town for a family emergency and it s the worst time for car troubles right around the holidays but I can t recommend these guys enough for how they helped. Repairs were done earlier than promised, diagnostic was fast and accurate and they were so helpful. I sincerely appreciate the help they both gave. Thank you!

I don't often write reviews. I usually save it for either exceptionally good, or exceptionally bad service. Unfortunately, this time, it's for exceptionally bad service.First, I want to say "Rey" is actually a good mechanic and a decent dude. The work they did on my truck turned out fine. The problem occurred when it came time to pay. They quoted me $405 for the job, but they ended up charging me $595! In fairness, I had brought the wrong part initially, so my truck had to be there for about a week. So, I would have understood a couple extra bucks, but not $200!They said they charged me the extra because they had to put my truck back together while they waited for me to get the new part. Again, I can understand stand maybe extra $50, but not $200! It's not my fault your shop isn't equipped to have a vehicle sit for a few days. I mean, $200 extra to put a shock and tire back on...outrageous.Anyway, I told them they would have far better reviews if they just had better communication with their customers. Hopefully, they'll get better in the future because they have some good people working there.

I had a great 2nd experience here today, Our car had broken down in a parking lot. We had it towed. They were able to diagnose the problem quickly. I asked them to do an oil change since it was already there, and described a noise the car was making. They ran a different diagnostic, let me know the costs of both parts and labor, as well as when to expect them to be delivered from Italy. I will take it back next week for the other issue. They have always been fair and up front with me. I am happy about this as they are the only shop in Yuma that will even see my car. All.others say, oh sorry we cannot work on that car.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto battery maintenance, Auto maintenance, Oil change

UPDATE: I wrote this review a month ago and the air conditioning on my car has already stopped working. After spending $1k on repairs the car seemed to still be having problems so I brought it back. They said if it was a problem with the work they had done it would be free, after dropping the car off they called and said it needed a new battery which would cost approximately $500 but if I want to buy the battery myself and drop it off THE INSTALLATION ALONE would cost under $240. I told them I couldn't afford that and I needed my car back, they wanted $100 just for looking at it. When I left they said never to bring it back there... don't worry, I won't.

They told me I need a maf senser and spark plugs and wires soI replaced that and my car is still not fixed. So if you want them guessing instead of actually diagnosing the problem take your car here! Anyway I was charged for a full diagnostic of 255$ and they literally just guessed. And I spent 500$ on parts plus a diag and my car isn t fixed.

I had a great experience with Ray and Archie. I have a Mercedes Benz E 550. They got right down to business. Fix my car like they said they would. On schedule. Great shop and great guys. I highly recommend them, especially if you have an import.

Had to have repairs on VW Beetle very last minute before a trip into Mx.They fit us in, repaired the issue quickly, and the price was great. Can easily recommend Import Car Specialists for honest and quality work.

This place is great. Super quick to get to my VW when the AC went out while passing through town on a long trip. Diagnosed and repaired in less time than I needed to eat lunch nearby. Up front and reasonable pricing. Would definitely bring my car here again if needed.

Took my car for inspection and when i came to pick up my car, the car key was broken in two pieces and they said that s how i got it. And they told me i know what you trying to do like i trying to scam them. They did event care to put the key together they gave me two pieces.

When I bought my Jaguar I had inquired about a local mechanic so I would not have to drive to the only Jag dealer in Arizona (Scottsdale) for regular maintenance. From several of the guys at work I heard about Import Car Specialists, and Danny & Crew have been taking care of my Jag for the past 18 months. I have complete faith in their diagnoses, I have never felt that I have paid too much for parts and/or service, and they always get the work done as quickly as possible to get me back on the road. From oil changes to brakes to air conditioning system, Import Car Specialists has been more than qualified and professional at all times. To anyone in the Yuma area with an import car I cannot recommend Import Car Specialists enough.

The owner was extremely rude, told us to scrap our car when there was less than $500 in work needing to be done to it and is a $15k car. he did work on the vehicle before telling us what was being done or prices. he was ONLY asked to "find the oil leak" and to do a minor diagnostic. Owner, when confronted about the dispute, started yelling and hung up on me. will NEVER go back! they also miss diagnosed the car with a $2k problem the first time. i had to look into the problem and diagnose myself and they confirmed that what i assumed was actually wrong.

Had my bmw work there and job was don right. Hand it back in 3 days. Other shop i took it to had it for 2 weeks and they could not find problem. Recommend this shop to everyone who has a European car.

Do not go there at any cost they are over charging. They try to charge me $280 to change a o2 sensor plus $55 for the sensor. Changing the sensor takes less 20min. I know because i change it before.

Was told a price, and when it came time to pay it was $300 more than what I was quoted. The guy just said "yeah that service you wanted is expensive", and didn't do anything to correct it...don't waste your time and money there.
