While on vacation our truck experienced alternator issues. We had just replaced a faulty one in Kanab 3 days earlier and now this one started acting up on a Saturday. Seemingly in the middle of no where our only choice was Angels. Don t be detoured by the looks of his garage, he was professional, knowledgeable and dropped what he was doing to get us on our way.Very reasonably priced when he knew we were stranded without him! Thanks Angel!

We, as many others were traveling cross country when about 10 miles outside of Winslow Arizona I lost a front wheel bearing. I limped it to ANGEL'S and he had me up and on the road the next morning before checkout time at the hotel. I'm sure he would have had it done much sooner but he couldn't get the part till the morning. He is a good guy and dropped everything he had to get me back on the road. Angel is a lifesaver! He s got a kind heart and is a caring soul! My son was on his first road trip from home (Pasadena, CA) when his car developed issues 30-minutes outside of Winslow late Saturday. Angel stayed open late JUST FOR MY SON because he couldn t let a mama down! Who does that anymore? Angel! That s who. We love you, Angel. Thank you so much!!!

We broke down on our way through town and called Angel s. He took our F-150 in almost immediately and had diagnosed the problem within an hour and fixed it within another (throttle body repair). He isn t a salesman (answers the phone hello? Haha) but he is a great, trustworthy mechanic. Thank you Angel for your service!

I thought I might have a rod or lifter causing my engine to knock. Thought I was looking at a lot of money. Turns out it was spark plugs and wiring. $250. I was a happy camper. I drove it to Show Low the next day. When I got back it was running rough. Took it by Angel's and he made a few adjustments (at no charge) and now it runs great.Service: Auto engine tuning

My son in law borrowed my F350 to take my daughter to ojt in Winslow. For whatever reason the truck would not start, I'll leave my opinion as to why out of the comment. The motel owner directed them to a tow company, who towed the truck to Angels Auto Repair. The tow company and the shop are a father and son team. Angel said he didn't know what the problem was. Supposedly charged the truck, changed the oil and fuel filter, but was unable to get the truck started. After speaking to him on the phone he thought it may be in the fuel injection system, but wasn't sure. After telling me that we would be looking at $1000 or more to possibly fix it I happily declined. I live almost 300 miles away from where the truck was, and was unable to go up there to pick it up. I told my son in law that it sounded like the shop was trying to make a quick buck and that we needed to get the truck back home to look at it. After paying almost $350 to the shop, his son happily towed the truck home for another $600. I put the truck on a charger and started it up within 15 minutes. This is a prison town, and obviously the shop tried to take advantage of that fact. I find it disgusting that a shop would attempt to charge two young adults for repair that wasn't necessary. After calling the shop after I got the truck started, I got the story of how the truck just wouldn't start. I don't know what they did to it, but it smells awful fishy that between the motel, tow company, and shop my daughter and her husband were charged almost $1000 for nothing. I would not recommend this shop nor Tri-R Towing for any services in Winslow. Don't know if or how the motel is affiliated with the other 2, but the father and son have a good racket going in a small town.

Very rude owner went in for an emergency stop to stay a night and went in to the shop Monday morning the owner said "leave the vehicle I don't have time right now" and this happened at 8:15am and there was no one but us. Ended up going to Dalton's motors which had great customer service.

Brought my diesel in thinking i was going to need the engine removed for a leak and he found the leak was coming from a completly different place. Saved me over 2k in repair costs. Great honest guy would deffinately come back again.

Was told by long-time customer that owner would help and great service. When I pulled up to his garage, he walked away and ignored me. Not happy.

Very rude was on my way to Oklahoma got towed in wouldn't even take a look and sat and talked to me from back room while I was at front counter would not recommend
