Staying at Quality Inn in Window Rock, AZ was an easy choice, attracted by the promise of a special breakfast and experiencing Navajo Nation hospitality. The rooms were clean but too cold even with the heater at 80, and there were no extra blankets. The water wasn't warm enough and was a lukewarm shower. But the best part was definitely the breakfast. The staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. The buffet had a great selection, including the blue mush pudding. Despite the comfy beds, the room temperature and lack of extra blankets made it less enjoyable. However, for guests sensitive to room temperature and comfort, an extended stay might not meet expectations.

I wanted to get an Indian flavor. We have...Motel type hotel. We asked for a quiet room without a door between the rooms, but they gave us a room with a door and neighbors watching TV until 3 am. Although, to be honest, they offered us another room, however, it also had an interior door and was frozen... We thought that a good dinner would brighten up the situation and lift our spirits. We were wrong... Completely tasteless food, prepared with absolutely no soul. We haven't even finished it. Unsuccessful. Although the restaurant staff tried their best!In general, don t look for flavor and relaxation here, we don t recommend it.

I gave 5 stars for qualities always difficult to achieve due to the remote location and weather impact. The food is good, could be a little more spicy. Excellent service. Friendly.Noteworthy details: To note. The mmost beautiful country, rugged, isolated, covered in mud but truly a magical place.

Staff is very friendly. The little restaurant has decent food. No cold water out of the sink facet or the shower facet. Staff parks in the parking spot in front of your room. The grounds around the building are very poorly kept. I'm definitely not seeing the price to match the experience. A couple nights is fine but anything over that will make one wish he/she had made different choices.Food & drinks: Great restaurant with amazing food. Try the mutton stew if you are not from the native lands. It's a taste you'll never forget!

Really enjoyed our stay. Everyone at the hotel and restaurant made us feel very welcome. Room was spotless. Got the feeling that everyone working here actually cared and took pride in their work. The location is great too with lots to do all right there. Highly recommend!Rooms: Room was very clean, including the sheets. Our stay was quiet.Nearby activities: Museums and the zoo, as well as local sellers and beautiful parks.Food & drinks: On-site restaurant is great but there are other nearby options too.

I've stayed at Quality Inn hotels all across the country, and the Window Rock location was definitely the best experience our family has had. Shortly after checking into our room, the front desk called and made sure everything was satisfactory. I can't even remember the last time a hotel has done that. Room was very clean, and the free breakfast provided at the restaurant was delicious and filling. (I reviewed the restaurant on its own page, because we ate there multiple times during our stay). Staff was extremely friendly. Highly recommended!

Booked a room with 2 double beds; room was very clean and hotel took extra steps to be welcoming. Room was a little small but still worked well for 3 of us. The Dine' restaurant in the lobby was fantastic and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast was at the restaurant, and a very filling meal to start the day. We stayed 2 nights and ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant both days; the Navajo taco and mutton stew were delicious. We visited the nearby Navajo Zoo and the Navajo Museum, both free and a great way to spend several hours.

Rooms are nice, but property around hotel really needs upgrading completely with good landscaping, leveled grounds and a lot more paved parking, there's a big empty lot just east of hotel whick can be acquired to improve good appearance for the hotel, we enjoyed our stay for the Navajo Nation fair, hope There's good outside grounds improvement for next year,, thank you,,

After reading reviews for this property, my husband and I were looking forward to staying here for the night. The fact that it had a restaurant on property was the big plus. It would be nice to not have to go off property to eat after driving all day.Check in was quick and easy. My only "must" for a hotel room is clean sheets and hot water. When we got to our room, my husband found we had no hot water. Barely lukewarm. We called the front desk and were told they'd have maintenance check it and call us back. An hour later, we hadn't heard back, so we decided to walk to the office and check and also have dinner. The clerk apologized for not getting back with us, said maintenance told him "the contractors must have all come back at the same time and showered and used all the hot water". He offered to move us to another room "closer to the boiler" which we accepted. We then noticed the "restaurant closed" sign and asked about it. We were told the restaurant closed at 7:30 that night. It's advertised as being open until 9.We were told that when businesswas slow, they sometimes closed early so they didn't have to pay the staff. This led to us having to drive down the road to KFC and return to our room to eat (drive through service only).Everyone knows people love eating dinner in their hotel room. The next morning, I got my shower, but my husband only had cold water when he tried to take his. The rooms are very dated and the lighting is not very good, especially in the sink area. The positive side is the beds are comfy and the room was clean and quiet. And Roy at the front desk was very pleasant and accommodating. He truly did try to help us have a pleasant stay. The free breakfast voucher for the restaurant was nice and offered 3 choices for breakfast.Would I stay here again? Probably not. It's kind of a "been there, done that" experience.

Can't recommend this hotel enough! It is 100% quality and class! The rooms are clean and well appointed. Not super fancy but extremely comfortable with all the bells and whistles: microwave, mini fridge, coffee service, etc. And the staff is 5 star! We brought our wrestling team for a tournament and they knew our boys couldn't eat until after weigh-ins so they made hot meals for us to eat after the boys weighed in! Every thing was smooth and flawless from check in to checkout. 11/10!

REPLY TO MANAGEMENT: I stay at these hotels across the country as my partner is a company employee and never had to deal with so many bugs. I m sorry that you re upset about the roaches in the rooms and within the sink. You should clean your hotel and not leave nasty responses because you are disgustingly dirty. I ll be sure to report this to the company. I tried to be respectful and even gave 2 stars, but attached I ve added a photo of all of the baby roaches or whatever they were in the sink. Perhaps you can go investigate 101. Filthy.Staff was indifferent and didn t offer any type of customer service. Restaurant was closed way before posted online. Room was filled with insects, hidden inside the sink, roaches in the bathroom. Other than that, it was clean and has a nice little fountain area outside.

Clean, spacious and great heat. WIFI was down, storm related, did a great job getting me checked in and were very apologetic. Bed was so comfortable! Would definitely stay here again, worth the stay just for the fry bread!

I've never stayed here, but I like the Dine' Restaurant. Never had a bad meal there, whether it was mutton stew or the bacon cheeseburger and fries I had last night. The wait staff is fast and friendly, and I recommend this place to everyone.

One of two motels in the area. This one is in the Capital of Dintah (Navajo Nation). The motel is in the center of town. There s a restaurant on site. Free coffee and tea in the lobby. Free breakfast is served with your stay. There s a few restaurants and fast food places near by in St. Michael s, Fort Defiance and Tse Bonita. Gallup is about 35 minutes away.If you are a choice rewards member, you get treats when you check in.Nearby activities: Window Rock Navajo Nation Park

Absolutely loved my stay here. The staff in the diner were so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was fantastic. The breakfast each morning was yummy and loved the coffee. The room was nice and cosy. Housekeeping was great. If I'm ever back in the area would love to be back here again. All staff do a tremendous job at this hotel, they go way above and beyond to help. I had an issue with getting to Gallup and they helped me tremendously as I had no car. A big Thank You to everyone there.

We didn't stay at the hotel but we had lunch here. The Navajo taco and the steak sandwich was good. The food preparation was slow but the food tasted good. Our waitress was great in serving our table. Overall, good experience and we'll will be back.

Masks are still Required/Mandated. So if you are traveling and are new to the area you will see the signs everywhere. The price is very high for a two night stay. The doors in the bathroom hit the toilet and looks as if though was cut out to avoid it so. The hair dryers are so out of date and old. The heating and cooling system is air that blows out and causes your immune system to dry out quickly. Overall the curtosy call and incentive that was given upon check-in was kind.

Few problems : TV wasn't turning on with remote (some kind of communication error).Heater was not working so it got a bit chilly.Solved: Maintenance figured out issue with remote and TV.After maintenance concluded that heater was indeed broken we were moved to another room.Front office staff was very courteous and friendly. Maintenance worker was friendly, courteous, and patient with our issues. He also worked quick. Other than those few issues, it was welcoming, comfortable, and beautiful.

Everyone is nice enough. The property and rooms are decent too.Would give 5 stars, but can t because every time we have booked a room with 2 queens, they say there is a problem and all they can only give us a room with 2 doubles, upon arrival. We have 3 adults. I don t understand how this can happen when we make our reservations far in advance. Very disappointing.

My husband had been driving for 30 hours and needed a place to sleep for a bit before getting back on the road. I went in to ask if there was any rooms available for early check in, the older lady at the counter didn't even greet me either but said no didn't have any rooms I said ok that's fine and just explained briefly how we been on the road and then all of a sudden she said she had a room but we'd have to check out at check out time which was 3 hours from the time I walked in. Why would you tell me you didn't have a room available then tell me you did but have to check out in 3 hours at full price. I went to red roof inn in Gallup instead. So much better customer service and understood our situation and checked us in early.

Great breakfast bar and has a variety of dishes. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. Love shopping in the little gallery by the front desk. Near the Window Rock Monument, Navajo Nation museum, and zoo. Beautiful views of the Red Rocks. Nicely redone rooms and repainted outside.

We went here to eat at the Dine' Restaurant located inside the Quality Inn. We came here because the Navajo selection of food they serve. We ordered the mutton stew. It was good with a lot of mutton. But the vegetables (carrots and potatoes) in the stew were too soft and over cooked. I don't think they make it fresh daily. We also ordered the Navajo Taco. I loved everything about the Navajo Taco except the ground beef. It definitely was not fresh ground beef. It reminded me of packaged ground beef like Taco Bell. But the fry bread was excellent and it would get 5 stars. The waitress was great and friendly. I would definitely eat here again.

Have stayed here two weeks now, and been quite comfortable. The rooms are a bit small, but are extremely well-designed, affording plenty of room for storage. The microwave and fridge are a great help, and the shower is terrific. Love the Keurig coffee maker!! We have found the beds quite fine, enjoy the large vanity and all the mirrors. Especially like the large range of DirecTV channels, and find the full service restaurant very convenient, including free breakfast. Very important: in the dessert day and night temperatures can run from moderate to extremely cold this time of year, and the room temperature you seek is easily refined. Never an unnecessary chill or sweat. Finally, we have found the staff very accommodating (including early check-in), especially those of the housekeeping department. A great place to stay while exploring this rather remote yet fascinating nation and it's treasures, from National Parks to local arts to fascinating geological formation Make a point of checking out these wonderful communities, and enjoy your stay at the Quality Inn! Highly recommended 150 mile jaunt from Albuquerque, only 30 minutes to Gallup for shopping, movies, etc.

It is easy to find since it is right by the main road with easy to see signs to direct traffic to the parking area. I have not personally stayed here but I have spent time here when invited to parties and gatherings. The food is awesome with the right amount of Native cuisine added to the buffet (mutton, blue corn mush and stew, yum) I would love to stop by here for lunch to see what is on the menu or just enjoy the buffet again. There have been some areas that have been worked on and upgraded I noticed. Also there is a little bridge over a cute fountain/river which I enjoyed listening to and watching. The gift store is filled with books by Native authors, shirts, mugs, toys, basically a lot of interesting buys to give as gifts to family or friends. Service is great, very friendly and smiling staff.
