This business is doing things the right way. They responded quickly and gave me a fair cost when it was all done. I use towing services in my line of work on a regular basis. Adams was honestly the best I ve ever dealt with.

I broke down on I-40 right outside Williams Az on the way to Oregon and Adams sent a driver out immediately. The driver ( sorry didn't get his name) and Eric repaired my car sooo quickly and properly I was amazed and greatfull.Thanks you guys for taking the time to get my little MKX back on the road...you guys are awesome.

I heard a few positive remarks from locals ('they do good work'), but my experience was absolutely negative.When I retrieved my truck, both gas tanks were empty--I had left the front tank with 1/4 and the rear tank with 1/2--and the brand new battery terminals with new washers and nuts were missing all of the washers and the new nuts had been replaced with random mismatched old ones from around the shop.My truck clearly had not been road tested, as it began misfiring immediately after driving off the lot. I sputtered my way back to the shop (after initially stopping up the road at some random house to buy gas from someone since Adam's Automotive had taken/used all of mine) and they looked at it again, only to fix the timing (which obviously a normal shop would have done in their sleep before road testing), which helped enough to get it on the road, but the misfiring was still prevalent.I was charged $60 for an ignition coil (a brand new ignition coil like the one on the truck is $21) and if it actually is a different coil, then they took an old rusty one off another truck and charged me 2x the price of a brand new one. See picture.The result was that I had to fix the truck myself.. I neither have time to diagnose mechanic issues nor do I enjoy being stuck under the hood, but after this experience I have returned to making my own repairs. I had even emphasized that I was about to drive 1,500 miles across the country, but apparently my assumption being that they would take extra care, resulted in deliberate dishonesty knowing that I could be across the country before noticing.

Wonderful customer service. Stranded on the highway by the Grand Canyon. AAA couldn't help us, so we call Adam's Towing. They towed, fixed and delivered our vehicle in record time. All great.

Thanks to a not good experience with a car rental company, I found myself in need of a tow and ride from Williams to Flagstaff airport in a snowstorm to exchange my rental. The driver was timely, knowledgeable, and kind. I appreciate the help!

Broke down in Williams Arizona and Russ came and saved the day. Set us up with a motel and made sure our car got fixed. Everyone at Adams did what they could to help us fix our car. Great Place to breakdown.

Great customer service in the middle of the night. USAA Roadside couldn t find anyone so I was cold calling tow companies from the side of I40. Russ provided upfront pricing as well as advice on ways to handle the situation on our own to avoid having to get their service truck. When that didn t work Walter, the service truck driver, was prompt and caring. We were 15 miles from town in the cold at 1am and we weren t positive what the problem was, so even though we got our truck started we weren t sure it d make it to town. He took my mom and kids into the hotel in town for us. We made it to town but it was great knowing they d be safe no matter what. Thank you!

Edit: next day the van didn't start; same exact symptoms as before. The problem was not resolved or properly diagnosed. The review below was written the day I picked up my van. I reduced my experience from 5 to 3 stars. They are still a friendly shop, and easy to communicate with. I took my van elsewhere for repair.Visiting Williams, AZ when my van wouldn't start. The shops in Williams wouldn't be able to even look at my van for 2 weeks, and the other did not want to work on my van ('96 Dodge Ram Van B3500, 12 passenger van). Adams was able to tow my van to their place, and the next afternoon, the issue was resolved. I was pleased with everything and recommend you give Adams a call!

This place was GREAT especially Eric. It's Thanksgiving Eve were heading to Thanksgiving with family in California truck starts running real bad pulled off in Williams Arizona around 7pm called Adam's they answered the guys said I will have my guy give you a call right back. He did explained are problem and Eric said I'll be there in the morning to help you out (On Thanksgiving Day) he got us back up and running in just over a hour or so. Outstanding Eric thanks again. Highly recommend them if you need vehicle repairs if your in that area.

Called Adam s at around 6pm after I got myself stuck on bill Williams mountain. The owner and Erik got my family and I off the mountain that evening within about an hour of calling them. I went back with them in the morning, Erik stayed up until 1am working on their off road vehicle so it would be ready to go up early when the ground was hard. The owner picked me up in his personal jeep so we could go up with 2 vehicles and we were back down the mountain with my truck in under an hour.They definitely went above and beyond and I ended up paying less than half of what the nearby competitors were quoting. They could ve capitalized on my desperation but they are honest people.Most importantly, they got my family out of a hairy situation I had no business getting into.Service: Special vehicle towing

Andreau was amazing and gave me advice that could potentially dave me thousands. The dudes are honest (which i can't say about other mechanics who have looked at my vehicle ). Come HERE. you won't regret it (especially if you have a Hyundai).

They saved us while on vacation! My husband's vehicle died 20 miles outside of town. They were able to tow him into town late in the afternoon and fix the alternator the same day! I appreciate them very much for all they did and especially the very nice gentlemen that answered the phone each time I had to call.

This is a review in-progress, but I would like to get it out now. Currently our RV is in their shop, we had a bad breakdown about 20 miles away in Ash Fork. We couldn't fix it ourselves and the sun was quickly fading on us. Not only did Adam's tow come to the rescue, they were courteous enough to call and confirm we indeed needed a tow in case we couldn't get reimbursed by our insurance/service agreement. Anyone who's been towed before knows that the price can be a bit high, and for that I thank them for their courtesy. Unfortunately for us, the RV won't be able to even get started on until Monday. No big deal, Adam's tow even hooked us up with a local hotel in an attempt to get us a discounted stay. That kind of fell through, but I'm not blaming them, they tried and Ramada Inn failed them. I don't know about the bad reviews, maybe those folks had an axe to grind. The service we've gotten so far has been excellent! I look forward to updating this in a few days with nothing more to add but good things.Update: Everything was on time and taken care of just as they said it would go. RV parts were in that Thurs, and done by Fri morning! The bill even came in slightly less than the original qoute, good folks. I hope I don't break down again, but if I do, I hope I find Mechanics and tow with these folks ethics.Service: Local hauling

They removed the motor out of my 1958 Lincoln in a few days and then refused put it back in for a whole year! Probably some of the rudest people I ve ever worked with. They can t even look you in the eye. disrespectful on the phone. They ask you why you even brought the car in to them in the first place. And to go ahead and take my engine in car and pieces to somewhere else! I have just one word for them. incompetent.

Adams came to the rescue not only once but twice the same day very professional. They came out got my 90 Ford f350 and camper out with no hasle and didn't break anything or damage anything. We were travelling from SC to CA, in a rental vehicle, and were getting the message "change oil required". Given the highly computerized nature of the car and not wanting to try and 'fool' the computer, I googled 'oil change williams az' and Adams Automotive came up. I called the number, even tho it was after normal business hours. My call was answered straight away, I expressed my dilemma, received reassurance I would receive help, and was told to call back 830 next am. I did call back, and was given directions to their location, which was only 3 miles away. They didn't have the proper oil and filter for our vehicle but one of the employees obtained it right away, and work began. We were out of there in short order, and what a relief it was! Totally felt like we were in good, capable hands from the get-go.Also, another traveler drove in, with a 30+ year old Winnebago, having choke issues. Again, they dealt with her straight away in a professional manner, and were able to get her on the road to her destination.Kelby took care of our car, great job and great customer service from everyone in the shop. Price for our services was totally reasonable. Gentlemen, thank you so much for taking care of us!

Russ saved the day ! Out of towners from NYC visiting the Grand Canyon. We got not one but two flat tires! He made me and my family feel so secure and safe. He was so kind and really went above and beyond to help us locate a shop and hotel since it was pretty late in the day, on top of it being a Sunday where no one is open. As well as allowing us to see the sunset for a quick sec, before we headed into the nearest town. Russ I am truly appreciative of your kindness and giving us a little adventure for our first time in Williams, AZ.Service: Car towing

Imagine just finishing up a 19 mile hike into and out of the Grand Canyon as the sun is quickly going down. Emotions flying high, we get back to our van in the parking lot, only to find that it will not start. Recruiting other tourists to help give us a jump was of no use. Temperatures started to dip into the teens, there were no rangers or anybody else around, so we called Russ at Adams Automotive. He was on another tow but assured us he'd be over as soon as he could. Sure enough, a little bit later we saw the lights on his massive tow truck coming straight for us. Him and his partner swiftly hooked up the van and got us out of a very hard and scary night. They were incredibly professional and very sympathetic to our situation. In addition, they were great to talk to on our long drive out of there. If you are from out of town, I can promise you Adam s Towing is the one to call! My husband and I were traveling 1,000 miles pulling a camper when our truck broke down. Adam s towing towed our truck and camper to his business and got our truck all fixed. Very reliable, the communication while our truck was getting worked on was great, and very reasonably priced.We were a young couple, stuck in a small town not sure what to do, and and we couldn t have made a better choice calling Adam s Towing! Absolutely no words to describe how phenomenal these guys are. Google needs to provide a six star review for Adams. They pulled me, my family and our 30 ft RV out of mud up to the axle on a forest service road an hour away from their shop in the middle of the night on a Sunday. They were literally the only shop within 100 miles that would make the trip and when they arrived, they were nothing short of professionals ensuring we not only got out, but found a place to stay. I cannot thank these guys enough and will certainly keep their card for the next foolish adventure I drive myself into in Arizona.Services: Special vehicle towing, Local hauling

Was headed west on the 40 to Vegas. Hit a pothole around Ashfork and lost my serpentine belt. Used Triple A and was quoted a pick up of 60 min. Kelby got there in 30 min. Very efficient, professional, and friendly driver. He got me to the shop back in Flag in a little under an hour so my vehicle could be looked at the same day. Much appreciated!

They were amazing! We're from out of state and our truck broke down right as we pulled into the hotel. They were able to tow us and had the truck repaired with in 24 hours of breaking down!

Highly recommended! The staff was amazing they really worked hard and fast to help get us back on the road when my transmission completely broke. They kept us updated and looked around for best prices rather than just going with most expensive. If I am ever in town this is the spot to go for auto help! Thank you for taking care of us.
