Loved the building. The kitchen was gorgeous. The room we stayed was lovely and the bed was so comfortable, I got the best sleep I had in a long time. The breakfast's were sublime. The green chile souffle was my favorite, but the french toast was delicious as well. Ray and Katie are fabulous hosts, going above and beyond to make sure our stay was an awesome experience. Can't wait to visit again.

Fantastic B&B. We've stayed twice so far and hope to be back again for more R&R. You feel like you're visiting family. Everything is totally laid back and stress free. Rooms are really well done and cozy. The beds and sheets are great quality. Breakfast is ridiculously delicious. It's like going out to a really nice restaurant every morning. The common room is very cozy. It's just a really great place to stay and I couldn't recommend it more.

What a wonderful experience! The hosts are so thoughtful, our room was large and comfortable, with many areas you could sit either inside or outside. The breakfasts were incredible - green chile souffl and bananas foster pancakes were just a couple of the dishes we had. We never needed lunch! There are two friendly and sweet dogs to pet if you want, but they aren't intrusive if that isn't your thing. Lots of hummingbirds and large trees make sitting on one of the outdoor patios a delight. This was our second time here, and we'll definitely be back!

Such a nice, delicious stay at this traditional Bed & Breakfast. Our room included not only a very comfortable bed but small fridge, closet space, two chairs and treats. Delicious breakfasts were served in the historic adobe dining room every morning. (Pancakes waffles, eggs, muffins, fruit, coffee, tea, juice to suit both this vegetarian and her bacon-loving partner.) We also appreciated the guest living/dining area, where we could sit by the fire or at the table with a take-out dinner. Hosts Katie and Ray also referred us to good restaurants in Tubac, to nearby trails including the Juan Bautista de Anza trail along the Santa Cruz River, and local bird-watching areas. Don t miss the notebook in your room with the long history of this beautiful place.

Honestly the best bed and breakfast I've ever been to! They were so kind and helpful, I got a little lost on my way there and they drove over and guided me to the area. Amazing breakfast (they do not skimp out on the breakfast at all, if you like a good meal you won't be disappointed), beautiful location, and very kind owners. As a woman traveling alone, they made me feel very safe and welcome. Location is also perfect if you plan to attend an event at the mission or in town.

My husband and I spent a wonderful 24 hours at Casa Paloma Bed & Breakfast. What an oasis of luxury in the beautiful Santa Cruz Valley! We will definitely plan a longer stay next time.We stayed in the Mourning Dove Suite, the largest of the accommodations, although we took a peek at the other two. The suite was perfectly appointed with a king-size adjustable (!) bed, fireplace, sitting area, walk-in closet, coffee maker, small refrigerator, and everything you might want. The ensuite bathroom was beautiful, with lovely tile work, double sinks, and a roomy shower. We enjoyed time in the Jacuzzi a few steps away, and the hosts even provided robes which was so convenient. Our hot breakfast, cooked to order by our hosts Katie and Ray, was out of this world. Home baked English muffin bread, soft-boiled eggs, and ham, were what we ordered, but we could have chosen waffles, pancakes, oatmeal any number of homemade items. We were served on the beautiful antique dining table in the dining room with the other guests. So enjoyable! The common areas were delightful! Since it was a chilly December day, we luxuriated in front of the stone fireplace before breakfast. The nearby town of Tubac has many good restaurants, as well as art galleries and shops with a southwest flavor.Casa Paloma is located on historic Santa Gertrudis Lane in prime birding territory in southeast Arizona. A famous birding hot spot is less than a quarter mile away. Many rare (for this area) birds have been seen here, including the Sinaloa Wren (February 2018) and Rufous-backed Robin (January 2018).We can t recommend Casa Paloma Bed & Breakfast more highly as your home base for a southeast Arizona holiday!

Katie and Ray Sayre have created a first class B&B. The setting is magical, the rooms are extremely comfortable and the food is spectacular! They go above and beyond to make your stay as welcoming and comfortable as possible. I hope I have the opportunity to return and spend more time relaxing in the inviting outdoor spaces. It's truly a gem of a place!Rooms: The room was immaculate. There was coffee/tea service in-room with an abundance of snacks and drink choices, as well as a mini fridge. It was spacious with a large closet. The beds were very comfortable and there was an electric blanket on each bed as well as color-coordinated linens and heirloom quilts across the foot of the bed. The bathroom had a large shower area with an old clawfoot tub. A refinished antique vanity had double sinks and a wall-mounted makeup mirror.Nearby activities: We were taking an art workshop in nearby Tubac. The town of Tubac and the Tumacacori Mission are nearby. Lots of art galleries, stores and restaurants in Tubac while Tumacacori offers the ruins of a mission established by Father Kino in 1691, making it the oldest mission in Arizona.Safety: The property is surrounded by adobe walls and the entrance is gated. Remote controls are provided for guests during their stay. There are no safety issues but children are not allowed due to the proximity to a Union Pacific railroad (we heard no night noise from trains) and a river that runs nearby. Safety was not a concern.Walkability: The grounds are beautifully kept and the terrain is flat. There are walkways and patios to enjoy.Food & drinks: Ray Sayre was the chef for our breakfast. One morning he served green chili and cheese souffles, which were exquisite. Another morning pecan waffles were served. Both meals included fresh fruit compote, a selection of homemade breads, crispy bacon and sausage, and condiments, such as spiced peach jam and homemade preserves. Delicious!!

A Bed and Breakfast that's a must stay. A hidden gem. In town for business? Watching rare and exotic birds? Just to get away? Consider this B&B; but make sure you plan ahead, this is a highly desirable destination that splurges to make sure you feel like your at your second home, just because.
