I was referred to Wildcat Automotive myself, by a neighbor and I could not be happier with the work or service Doug has provided. He is trustworthy, reasonably priced and has really gone the extra mile. Needed repairs never come at a good time for anyone, but it had become something that really stressed me out because I could no longer do the work myself and have had some not so great experiences elsewhere. Not anymore though! I can finally relax, knowing my car is in good, experienced hands, and be it a simple or more complex repair, the bill will be fair & honest. I highly recommend Wildcat automotive!

I really hate to give this place a one star. Staff is amazing and they even gave us a big pack of baseball gum for free. They are so nice! My complaint comes from a safety point of view. We took our Honda there to get the tire fixed. All looked good, we make it home. Next day we go to work. My significant other takes the freeway to work and he just happened to forget his phone and came back. As soon as he pulled out of the parking space, the wheel came off . My person could have been on the freeway when that happened and that would have lead to a horrible accident, a life threatening one at that. When he called to let them know they responded with "That was one of my concerns". So you knew this could happen?! They said that the screws or something on there where stripped and would have need to be replaced. You should have called and told us, we would have paid for the new ones! Yes, they did offer a free tow to the shop, but would still charge for the fix. We had to take some time before posting the review as this was just something we needed to process. It really is great here, we've came twice before, this was just the 1 very bad experience or us.

Doug is thoughtful in presenting what does our doesn't need to be done with my car, he never talks down to me or treat me like I don't know what he's talking about, he doesn't guilt me into doing more than I need to and he's really kind in all of his dealings. I've really enjoyed being a customer of his.

My longtime mechanic moved across country and I ve been dreading the task of finding a new one. My Dad offered up a list of a few mechanic s that he s dealt with (most affordable, flexible hours, cheap-quick fix, honest). I asked him which one was honest? And he said Wildcat Garage. I called over to see if he could take a look at my battery/alternator. He took a look, fixed the issue and was done within the hour. No B.S, no gimmick, just helpful, honest and fair. I ll be taking my vehicles here going forward. Thank you!

I ve been here twice, both very positive experiences. As a woman, I have a justified fear of mechanics. But, I actually trust this shop and don t plan to take my vehicle anywhere else in Tucson. Respectfully, it feels like having my dad fix my car. It s gonna get done right, and I don t have to worry about being ripped off.

I hate writing reviews and so I have postponed writing this review for 6 years-maybe things have changed since 2018.I went to wildcat automotive years ago to get a general checkup on my vehicle. When I returned to pick up my car wildcat automotive had changed the spark plugs on my vehicle without first reaching out to me for consent. Right now my spark plugs are going out and it s making me realize that when I brought my car in years ago there were no indicators that they needed to be replaced. This is the most dishonest experience I have ever had with an automotive shop and I figure the stars should at least reflect this.To top it all off the shop then put my name on a mass text list that they would text whenever they were short on work. I ended up blocking the shop s number. This was not an experience unique to me-my friend also received these texts and chose to respond and ask to be taken off the list. Maybe things have changed in the last 5 or 6 years but I was finally driven to write this review because previously I had known that sending me texts was ridiculous and doing work on my car without my permission was unethical, but it hadn t yet occurred to me that the work itself was bogus.These days I go to el vaquero automotive and the man is ethical to a fault. I have never gone back and would not recommend wildcat automotive.

Wildcat Automotive does everything right. Customer service, maintenance, troubleshooting, pricing, timing. I cannot complain about a single thing! Beyond expectations looking for a local shop to go to. I was referred to this shop by all of the reviews from reddit and google. Seemed like a good place to go to and everyone was right.Came in for oil changes, tire rotations and a flat tire. Received a quote for a water pump and timing belt change for our 2017 VW. I have quite a few mechanic friends and the quote I received from wildcat automotive is the best price for such a job. Will be using them so long as I live here! Thanks Doug!

Wildcat Automotive is great & trustworthy. My roomate recommended wildcat automotive to me several months ago and I ve gone back for work several times since then. Compared to other automotive shops, Wildcat Automotive is trustworthy and won t try to scam you. 10/10!

When my previous long term mechanic retired I thought oh no. He referred me to Wildcat Auto, I am so glad he did. Doug fixed my check engine light problem with great skill. What I appreciate most about this shop.1- He is honest, doesn t try to up sell me something I don t need. Also if I can t afford something to be done at that time, he lets me know how long before the repair needs to be done.2- He always works my Toyota and Chrysler Pt into the shop for repairs when we need them repaired.3-repairs are completed fast, professional, and cost effective.I highly recommend Wildcat Auto.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto A/C recharge, Body & Trim, Air conditioning, Wiper blade installation, Oil change

Great experience! I needed some work done on it and a much needed oil change. I was quoted a fair estimate and I'm very pleased with the job and the customer service. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. And plan to take my other car for some maintenance as well.

Went to Doug based on my neighbor's referral for a simple A/C recharge. While the AC now works the bill was a lot higher for a fairly normal procedure. Instead of a reasonable $120 fee I was charged $145 = BIG ouch. There goes this senior's budget, no lunch celebration, no musical upgrades. Bummer.

I brought my Mazda in to replace the motor mounts and get my AC fixed and let's just say they got me in an out just before temperatures rise. Couldn't be more pleased with their excellent service! I will definitely keep going back.

Every time we have taken one of our cars into Wildcat Automotive we have come away more pleased than the time before. (if that is possible because we were thrilled the first time!).I feel that Doug cares about his customers and does his very best to do the repairs in a very timely manner and is very reasonably priced. He is also just an all round NICE, decent human being!!!!He came to me highly recommended and I certainly have and will recommend him any time I know someone that needs a GOOD job done.Service: Transmission

Daughters jeep had Strut leaking. Came in, met Doug, he and his team checked it out, discovered it was a faulty Strut. He then did his magic, contacted the manufacturer, got the parts ordered, and had us back in the next week. They replaced the part, mostly all warranty work, he went above and beyond to save me money, saved me time and took care of it from start to finish. Great job! Nice to see an owner so involved and taking care of his customers like this.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Doug has been good to me for most of my time as a student here in Tucson, I wish I had known about Wildcat Auto earlier! With an Audi A/S3, it's hard to trust that shops won't rip you off and are giving your car the care it needs and I never once had a hesitation about the work done here! Also as a student, there's no heckling or pushy "suggestions" to get work done. Doug has always been upfront, honest, and transparent about value of parts, the prices for labor, and the need for the work. Broke down while traveling. The owner actually moved other people who where already scheduled to help me out. Excellent service. These guys are top shelf. Diagnosed the problem, replaced the fuel pump and got me on my way. Amazing owner. Folks who got pushed back in the schedule please be understanding. Great place! Wildcat Automotive was recommended to me years ago by a friend, who said that they're the best mechanic shop in Tucson. I have nothing but good things to say about them! I have a Honda with 250k+ miles on it and Doug has done a great job keeping it running over the past few years. He doesn't rip you off or suggest unnecessary repairs or replacements, and he works to get you the lowest prices on replacement parts.I once had my car towed to a Honda dealership (bc it was much closer) and they quoted me $4500 for repairs. I then had it brought to Doug and he fixed it for $500--- it's run perfectly for the 50-75k miles I've put on it since then.

Doug at Wildcat knows what he is doing and cares about customer satisfaction. My research showed he had the best prices for repair work. He is very accommodating and his work is top notch. He does the repair right the first time. He makes you feel better about what s wrong. You just know he will fix it. Not only that, but he follows up with you to make sure everything he did is still perfect! Doug is MY mechanic for CTDGFOX! I ll let you experience his talent cause I won t need him for awhile. Do not hesitate! I have always had great service and quality repairs from Wildcat. Doug really cares about the work he does and that his customers are treated fairly and honestly. Doug gives mechanics a good name. I appreciate that he showed me the fried parts that were replaced so I knew he wasn t taking advantage or upselling unnecessarily.All in all, service was both cheaper, quicker and friendlier than I expected it would be, compared to my experience with other auto repair shops.Give this place your business, they deserve it!

The guys at Wildcat do an awesome job. They've worked on several of my cars over the last 5 years and I'm always happy with their customer service and quality of work. The owner Doug is always honest which I really appreciate since I've had bad experiences at other auto shops around Tucson in the past. So glad I found this place!

Wildcat Automotive has been my go-to ever since I acquired my Suzuki. Always easy to call and make an appointment and pick up the same day. They are efficient, trustworthy, and kind. They ve helped me understand why issues occur and how to take preventative measures as I m not exactly knowledgeable in the realm of automotive. Thanks Doug!

Wildcat came through for me on short notice once again. I usually bring my vehicles in for maintenance, but it always seems like they can also fit me in if there's some kind of issue that needs immediate attention. This time I called them up at the end of the day Tuesday because my truck suddenly started running poorly. Doug said to bring it in the next day or Thursday if I could. I managed to get it in Wednesday morning and had it back by the mid afternoon!We've been coming to Wildcat since we moved here about 8 years ago and are very glad that we were able to find their reliable, honest shop.
