Matt and his crew are amazing! I bought a 1965 vw bus from them. They were able to do a major repair in a timely manner and the cost was very reasonable. The also delivered my new bus to me on a trailer. When I need them to sell my 1971 vw bay window they make it happen and took all the worries away from me. Very good people you can trust and rely on. They did everything they said they would. I would definitely use them again.

After some problems with both parts and repairs at Chirco s, I searched for a new shop to work on my 74 Thing. This is the shop you want to work on your vintage VW. Not only is Matt knowledgeable about diagnosing issues but the repairs were completed on time using quality parts with reasonable labor costs. He also was able in less than a week to market and sell my Thing. Matt too interested in you as a person and not just a customer. He listens to you and explains in detail exactly what is needed to repair your VW. No upselling here. It was a pleasure dealing with Vintage Voltswerks and should I get back into the hobby of vintage VW s this would be my go-to shop.

Matt, one of the owners of Vintage Voltswerks, helped me get my dream (project) car! He worked with the seller to get a fair price, diagnosed all the fixer-upper issues that need to be addressed, and got it running as a daily driver. With his help, I feel empowered to have a vintage Volkswagen (a 1984 Cabriolet, Wolfsburg edition) and have zero regrets about selling my newer car for a much older one. Cannot recommend the crew at Vintage Voltswerks enough! Very helpful, transparent, and honest from start to finish with a complete brake job and other tune up work on my 67 Type 3 Fastback.
