This garage was awesome. We were very worried about having to cut our trip short. But, our vehicle was fixed on time and on budget.

Be very cautious of this business! Read the negative reviews. They a similar to what happened to my cousin.My cousin went to this place. They charged her $500 to fix her car that was overheating. When she took it back they were nasty to her and charged her $200 and it s still overheating to this day. They took advantage of a retired woman. I am planning on helping her hold these thieves accountable for their lousy service. On top of everything Pete the owner belittled her talking over her. What so called real man does that? Shame on this un educated fool. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because it s required to post this.Wow! After reading the comments, I noticed that they are mostly women that this shop targets. This place needs to be investigated. Shame on them for taking advantage of trusting customers.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have used Tucson Mountain Motors for all of my car repairs for the last 22 years and have never been disappointed with their service. They've always been polite, honest, and delivered as promised.

The shop was ready to close down and they still put air my tires. Reconnected hose and everything. Recommend this place for their customer service.

These guys are great! Twice my truck was on the verge of failure, and they stepped in to save the day. The first time, another shop blew the head gasket while working on the cooling system. 5 years later, the truck is running strong, but the u-joint seals decided it was time to fail. They were there again with a loaner while they found a way to squeeze in the urgent repair during their busy schedule.This is the place in Tucson that I trust the most for a reasonably priced, honest truck repair

Rick was able to squeeze me in to fix the air intake and got my car running and top notch condition. The bill was only $15 which is unheard of. Great service as I've been there before. Jeff

We were referred to these guys when we first came to Tucson in 2013.We have never taken our pampered 2001 Silverado anywhere else, due to fact these guys are GREAT ! Friendly, honest, thorough, competent, respectful. Always give us quote before the work and always decent price. High quality parts. Never long wait to get it in. They go the extra mile . I have been using their fine services since about 2006. This shop provides competent service at a reasonable price. I have found they bend over backwards to assist their customers. In my opinion, you can not take your vehicle to a better shop. I have had a lot of parts replaced for my car a couple years ago. Just bought new tires from them around Oct 2021. I started having one of the tires losing air every other month or so. They rebeaded it . That lasted a few months. Then it started up again. I had them put air in the tire several times.I was treated with total disrespect each time by both Rick and Mark . I have a strong feeling they do not respect women. I've spent 3,000.00 of service there. For the connivance of the shop being in walking distance if I should need car work done. I am angry at myself for trusting reviews and not going with my gut feelings when I first walked in.This is for the woman out there who has experienced the disrespect those two put out.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Oil change

I have a vintage Corvette that I'm very particular about. Brought it to Pete and his crew at Mountain Motors for a complete brake service. He found a few other issues that I was unaware of and took care of them all. They did a great job on the car. They were efficient, capable, accommodating and clean. Got the car back and the improvement was extremely noticeable. Highest quality work at a more than reasonable price. I'm a happy guy. Highly recommended. Thanks guys !!!

Went to get a tire leak checked. Rick was great! Nice. Honest. Helpful. Went above and beyond. Will gladly go again for tires and other means.

Came in with my class B RV. Arrived early without an appointment as I am from out of state. No issues handing the height or weight of the vehicle and had my flat fixed in an hour. Price was fair as well.

These guys are great! Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable. They always give you a quote before they do any work, and they do what they say they re going to do. They use high-quality replacement parts when necessary, and the price is right. I won t take my vehicles anywhere else for service!

I have an old 2001 Ford Explorer that Pete has been taking care of for this past 16 years! That was a surprise to both of us. Excellent service. The work done on my car is done correctly at a fair price every time. How often does that happen? Ok, 9 months later. I stand by my previous review, but, I just stood in the small office with Rick who was wearing no mask. I don t know Rick s reasons for not wearing a mask, but I won t be back until there is truly no Covid or I am vaccinated.

These guys are amazing! The only thing I haven't let them work on is my Harley, and I would consider it to be honest. I own a small business and have always believed in small business. I take all my four wheeled vehicles there. They are always friendly and courteous. Except Pete, he needs a hug now and again. Not really, Pete is an awesome guy. These guys are spot on and extremely competitive in their pricing. I would much rather give Rick and Pete my hard earned cash that any of the big dealerships in town. And they stand behind their work 100%. I had my front end redone on my 08 Silverado and I think they inadvertently got the Friday beer thirty steering rack because it sounded like a Wookie had moved in after the work was done. I called Rick and let him take a look at it and they replaced it the next day at no cost! Did I mention these guys are awesome!

Took my 1972 Chevy Truck in I was having electrical problems and the guys there were a 10 when it came to customer service and trouble shooting the problem, they were also reasonable on price. I recommend this place for any of your car repairs. They rock and now I have no worries if I need a great car repair shop. Thanks guys!

I have been a customer of Tucson Mountain Motors for ten years, ever since it opened. I always had a very good experience. Lately I can see the business going downhill. Recently I called and spoke to the owner Pete and told him I had a flat tire and had called AAA, they came to where I live and put the spare on. Pete told me Tucson Mt. Motors would fix it for free. I went there the next day. They told me it was unrepairable and I needed a new tire. I paid for the new warranty and a balance. I don't know why I was charged for Hazardous Materials and shop supplies. I guess everyone gets charged for that. Sure covers his expenses. When I got home I checked the trunk. They did not put the spare back where it's supposed to go. I am a senior and it was very heavy for me to lift the tire out, lift the inside tools out, replace the tire and the tools. The tires I bought from Tucson Mt. Motors were only 2-3 yrs. old. I hardly drive any more. The tires he sold me are questionable. Unfortunately, I will no longer return to Tucson Mt. Motors for any more of my maintenance or other work.

Disappointing experience at Tucson Mountain Motors. We had an appt to have the coolant flushed in our F250. Upon our return we are told they didn t have the right fittings so they put the truck in and are only draining and refilling the system. THEY think that s good enough and will charge $180 (the quoted price for the flush) for a service we could have done. We asked them to at least test it tell us what the results are. They can t. They don t have that equipment either. Spending the next 5 months RVing in the mountains and now don t feel confident.Update Update... a discussion with Rick went well he was courteous , explained challenges and offered a discounted rate making this right.

If I can give negative stars I would. I paid them to do a diagnostic, they said they "couldnt" do a compression test due to a dead battery? Sound like incompetence and wanting to charge for more things that's not related. If they can't even charge a battery to check compression on a vehicle why trust these rats with your vehicles. NEVER AGAIN. NO CALL NO NOTHING IF THATS THE CASE WOULD HAVE WENT N CHARGED IT MYSELF. THEIVES N LACK OF CARE. Horrible Horrible hoooorrriible place.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

These guys are great . They are very reasonable prices. They work on old cars to new cars and RV's . Been going to them for 3 yrs. Now. Don't have to go down town and fight the traffic. And make it a whole day. Thanks Pete. Appreciate it.

Worst experience ever, had my car for 7 hours while they were supposed to fix a small leak did not update me throughout the process even when i asked and they did absolutely nothing with it wasted my time.

Been a customer with TMM for about 2+ years. My wife had a flat tire on Ajo Highway, about 4 miles from the shop. After she got home I went to TMM to ask for ride to car so I could change the flat. Pete immediately got in the TMM tow truck and in about 15 minutes brought the car back to the shop. It needed a whole rim and tire and there was 0 charge for the tow. The immediate response was impressive.During the time we have had our car serviced at TMM they have been 100% consistent with fair pricing, good customer follow up, and they have stood by parts warranties so we did not have to pay 2X for replacing a electric window motor.The fact that TMM is old-school full-service gas station is a plus. Often they are the least expensive gas station in Tucson. As I write this review they are charging $2.89 for regular. Other stations are charging around $3.10.I'd highly recommend TMM for car repair.December 6, 2017 update:TMM no longer sells gas. Their mechanical shop continues to provide good work at a fair price.

Needed a tire repaired. They took me right away. Quick and friendly service. Fair price. I will definitely going back to TUCSON MOTORS.
