Definitely a 0 star. Built me 1 half of my driveshaft and charged 470 dollars. He failed to mention that the new piece needs to be balanced with the old piece as an assembly. He was completely rude and unprofessional blaming me. I now need to pay someone else to balance the assembly. Don't waste your money here.* UpdateYou are wrong and are changing the story. Had you told me you needed the whole assembly I would have brought it. I even walked back into the store to make sure you had everything to do the job. How did you expect to build and balance a drive line assembly with half the pieces? Your the professional

Called in and spoke with Glenn. Explained how my rear driveshaft snapped off the rear u-joint. He told me to bring the driveshaft in to see what we needed to get me back on the road. He made a recommendation for building a new driveshaft. I took him up on his offer. He and his Son had a fully assembled driveshaft with new, upgraded u-joints, ready to go in 4 hours. Took it home. It bolted right up. Back on the road by the end of the day. Ironically, ran into him and Son that evening, in the truck with the new driveshaft. I couldn't thank them enough.

If you have a drive shaft in need of repair or replacement this is the place to go. I have an 05 ram 1500 and could not for the life of me get the right replacement for my drive shaft after it dropping to the ground while driving. I ordered 2 seperate brand new driveshafts from 2 different companies and neither would mesh up with the splines on my transmission. I walked in explained my situation and they built me a new driveshaft from scratch to fit my truck. I would recommend this business to anyone in need of a quality replacement.

Had them build a custom aluminium driveshaft for a 700+ hp car. It was done the same day and is a true work of art. Also the price was very fair (even cheaper than the interwebs) Would highly recommend. *Pictures are after I hit it with the polisher

I took my 1974 Chevy Nova to them to get the driveline built. My wife and I did the first measurements and took them to him without the car. The first driveline was perfect other then my measurements were wrong so I took it back again thinking that of course I knew what I needed but again it was wrong. So the 3rd time being the charm I took the car and all back with me to them so they could measure it this time thinking it had to be right, we ll again it was too long. So back to Tucson I went again one more time with the car hoping that this would be it. He also fixed the last one at his cost since he had measured it the last time we had been there. Of course it was. This man does take pride in his business and the quality of work is good and take care of the people that keep coming back to him. He also reimbursed me for having to come back up to Tucson in my opinion I would recommend him to anyone who needs work done.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Don't recommend. I was told he is a Toyota expert. Took my 4Runner in for front and rear drivelines after lifting it. Rear driveline was out of balance and rebalanced by Simmins off road. He attempted to make from driveline twice and was unsuccessful and would not return any of my moneyService: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Unfortunately, this business wanted to build a driveline for my car and said that it would take 3 months to get the original part from the manufacturer. I called my local dealer and the part was available. When I told this business that I would like to install the original part in my car, they didn t like that and they told me to come and pick my car.

My truck was in need of u-joints, I thought, because there was a "ka-chunk" pause when I hit the gas at a stoplight. This shop got me in quickly, and determined the real problem---and they got my drivetrain replaced in just one day. Showed me the old parts and everything, and took the time to explain it in words I could understand. Definitely the place to go in Arizona if you need your driveshaft etc. looked at and repaired! My truck drives like new now.Service: Transmission repair

Highly recommend for differential rebuild in Tucson! After shopping around to get my GMC Yukon XL differential rebuilt, Tucson Driveline & Balance was referred to me by a highly reputable auto mechanic (Next Generation Automotive) and his quote was the lowest of them all.Glen is a straightforward and honest guy. After I dropped off my truck in the afternoon, he called me back first thing in the morning after opening up the case to let me know what my options were.I was pleasantly surprised that his prices were a few hundred dollars lower than the other competitors.Once the parts arrived, he rebuilt my differential on the very same day and called me to let me know it was ready to be picked up.Overall, I am very happy with my experience and my truck drives nice and smooth like the first day I drove it. Thank you, Glen!

Great service and was very helpful after the sale! I am always very skeptical when it comes to mechanics but I felt like I could actually trust him! Would definitely go back if I need help again and would recommend him!

While the people seemed like decent people, when it came to light they had done the job wrong they would not admit that they did it wrong, even though it was very obvious. I wasn't even asking for my money back, but I did lose $180 I paid to them and the cost of the parts (~$150). And I had to buy replacement parts (~$270).I brought in control arms to have the old bushings pressed out... they pressed out the metal housing/sleeves and bushing and threw it all away even though they had the directions that say in bold "don't throw away the metal sleeves!". They also say they have done this many time before. It was extremely obvious it was wrong since they put the silicone bushings in and they were loose in the control arm and also would be quickly eaten away be the sharp edges of the control arm. It's silly any mechanically oriented person would ever say that was how they were supposed to go, but they would not change their tune after I came back with evidence. Either they just didn't want to admit being wrong, or they thought it was actually done right, which is even scarier.

I recently swapped out my old four speed out of a 1984 Ford F-250 for a ZF five speed and needed the driveline shortened about four inches. I took it to these guys in the morning had it back by lunch time. Once I put it on the truck I took it up to 85 without any issues, runs smooth without vibrations. They also painted it and made it look good. I would recommend these guys. I've had it on the truck now for a year without issues.

I purchased three new u joints, they seemed like old fashioned America. The same day as the repairs were made, the yoke to the transfer case started to leak. I calmly called the day after, explained the new leak and location...and they said it was my problem. They would not repair the damage they caused. I've since had a second and third opinion by other reputable shops...they all agreed that the damage was caused by them. Its too bad people still try to pull crap like this...but in this day and age with the internet and reviews.. people will start to notice when bad reviews start to pile up.

I was looking for a driveshaft dust boot to replace a damaged one on my Jeep Cherokee. Tucson Driveline & Balance had the part in stock and was very helpful. Great Local Service!

I had them press bushings into lower control arms, I was in a tight spot. I usually go to pepboys or john at P.O Machine. I go to pick them up and the bill is $170! Ouch.....word of advice if you are looking to press bushings at good price go to pepboys or P.O Machine the price is alot cheaper and done faster!!
