With Auto Mechanics I usually don t do reviews right away as they can change from service to service. Not this place!!! It s been consistently excellent every time.I ve been very happy and satisfied with the several scheduled and 1 emergency repair I needed. They did a fantastic job every time, and the prices were very fair for the work performed on all the services I ve had with them. I trust Tim and his crew implicitly. I m very lucky to have found this place.

I bought a car that was still under labor warranty service and had a problem, Tucks fixed it no questioned asked. Highly recommend

Such an amazing shop! Our AC went out 7 hrs into a 22 hour trip. Called Tim first thing in the morning, he was very understanding, friendly, fair and all around wonderful! Not being local, it s hard to find a good, honest shop, Tuck s was both of those and more. Gave me options for my repair, and got it done earlier than I initially thought it would take. Highly recommend!

Outstanding prices for outstanding work. I wish I had found Tuck's sooner. As long as I am in Tucson, I will never take either of my vehicles anywhere else. Honest, fair, and upfront about prices & work. No hidden costs. Vehicle was repaired & ready to go well within the time frame given. If you are in need of auto repair or basic auto upkeep, go to Tuck's. You will be happy you did. There is a reason that ALL of their reviews have 5 stars. Give them a try and you will find out why. I needed my air conditioning recharged/refilled, found Good Ole Tuck's and was floored by the great price and great work. Price was a half the cost of what the 13 other repair shops, I spoke with, were charging. Appointment was made for the next day, and car was ready to withstand the Tucson heat within 2 hours. Tuck's just earned another customer for life

First time using Tuck's, spoke with Tim over the phone, explained what was wrong with vehicle and apprehensive as I was going only by online reviews(which were good). I needed fixed a pulley that broke off while I was driving on the road that had left the vehicle undriveable. Towed the car to his garage without my presence, he did exactly what he said he was gonna work on, the estimate of what the cost of the fix over the phone and the actual cost when fixed was on par and adjusted accordingly. Very impressed and left there with a good experience. I think this is a mechanic I can trust going forward and bring my cars and recommend to people who need a mechanic, which I did already. Thank you Tim and look forward to more positive experiences in the future. What you do and how you do it makes a difference.Service: Engine repair

Tim at Tucks is Fantastic! Coming from Colorado with a family background in automotive, we were very spoiled. We had a great garage we used for over 20 years. After doing some shopping around Tucson and asking alot of Tuscon residents, so many of them enthusiastically recommend Tucks Auto. And we are sure glad they did. We now have our mechanic, and hopefully for years to come!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Brakes, Oil change

Tuck (and his son-in-law Tim who now runs the place) are the most honest mechanics you will ever meet. They have saved me quite literally thousands of dollars over the years compared to other mechanics. I will never take my car anywhere else in Tucson, no question. He never charges for diagnostic work, and will treat your car like his own.

Tim is such a great mechanic always affordable always straight to the point. I found out about tuck's auto just living in the neighborhood around the area. Even if it all the way across town Tim at tuck's auto is my go to No matter what. I've been recommending him for the last 5 years and will continue to do so !!!

They are the most honest people you will ever meet. Before i found out about them i was getting screwed by everyone i took my car to. If you don't know much about cars like me other mechanic's would tell me my car needed all kinds of work. Resulting in huge bills every time. That all stopped when i started going to tucks. I will never go anywhere else. Thanks Tim and Tuck for being so honest.

Been going here for 3 years and have had nothing but excellent service. Been screwed over by O'Reilly Chevrolet and Goodyear on Broadway and Kolb and was looking for an honest alternative. Tim is a good and honest person. I highly recommend this shop. A Tucson gem.

Best Chevy Express 1500 repair service I attend. Tuck who is now retired and Tim Lancaster are excellent mechanics and extremely reasonable when charging parts and labor.

Incredibly honest, fair and trustworthy. They do the work that is necessary & not the dealer service drive items that add cost but no value. Tucks is a rarity in the auto repair business.

How many mechanics do you go to that you tell them I need this this and this and they say no you only need this. New brakes on a truck $165 including turning the rotors you can't beat this place but don't tell too many people because I like being able to get appointments

Great old-school "small shop" atmosphere, where they really seem to know what they are doing, and don't try to up-sell you on anything.
