I am fairly new to town and looking for a reliable auto repair shop. Scroeder's is not one. I called last week to see when they could take a look at my sedan...they told me Monday morning. I even called back a few minutes later to confirm I had an appointment; they said I did. When I got there Monday, I was told no one could even look at my car until Wednesday or Thursday because the only guy that could do it was out of town. I could have made an appointment somewhere else or rented a car if I'd known in advance.

Bill provides great service at reasonable prices. He turns around service and repairs promptly and correctly. I recommend Schroeder s without reservation. You won t go wrong bringing your vehicle to Schroeder s.

This is a family owned shop that I'll be recommending to all my friends. Make sure you make an appointment in advance. This is a great location in a better part of town. There are a lot of good restaurants and shopping centers you can visit nearby when you drop the car off. It's actually right by where I live.I took my car for an oil change here on the 1st of June. While it was on the lift, They found a bolt that was extremely loose in the suspension and tightened it up. No charge. This is a shop that cares about the car and makes you feel valued as a customer unlike most big or small shops I come across.

I had a serpentine belt tensioner replaced - after being told by another mechanic that I needed new engine mounts and a lot of other repairs. I was called with a quote, approved it and the work was completed shortly after. Excellent service and reasonable prices. We have been using Schroeder's for over 30 years, through multiple vehicles. We won't stop until Bill retires. We have never, ever, had a problem with the quality of his work. It is always top-notch. Prices are fair and competitive, too. Some repairs are expensive, but that is the nature of cars as they get more complicated. More often, we have been surprised at how reasonable or even inexpensive Bill's work is. Schroeder's have always done amazing work on my cars. I feel like I can trust them and their suggestions. I appreciate that they always give me options and explain to me exactly what is going on with my car, so that I can make an informed decision. I would highly, highly recommend them. Their prices might feel a tad higher, but the results and the feeling of confidence they provide are absolutely worth it.

Excellent in every respect. I have used their service for years. Available when you need them and doing superior work. Prices are reasonable and they do only the work needed. You can totally trust them and what they suggest. I've been having Schroeder's service my 1996 4Runner for over 2 years now, since moving to Tucson. Admittedly it's an old vehicle but it's mine and I depend on it. Both my SUV and I get treated like first-class citizens every time we do business there. Bill (the owner) has always been friendly, informative, and insightful. He follows through on his promises. He and his mechanic Ken do first-rate work. If you want to support local talent in a family business that delivers quality personalized service and avoid paying large corporate mark-up to people you will never know, look no farther.

I feel very confident taking my cars to Schroeder's. Their prices aren't jacked up the way they are in so many places around town, and they don't do extra work to make a few extra bucks. They're given me realistic assessments and worked quickly and competently. The owner, Bill, does his best to satisfy customers--patiently answers questions, calls with estimates, etc.

Schroeder's does conscientious work. They always provide a heads up estimate and never try to talk you into repairs. They explain what's wrong and let you decide how to approach the problem. They work quickly, and if you make an appointment in advance that makes things even easier. I have a 2003 Civic. I was having a fan issue. I searched Google Maps to find a shop near me. I took it there in urgency of my car overheating. I was concerned about costs. Google pointed me to Schroeders Auto Services. I dropped it off at noon and had my car back by 3:30pm the same day. I was aggravated at potential cost. I went down in annoyed state. They still had my car in a stall. I was anxious at this point. Both Mr. Schroeder and Ken showed us exactly what was happening. They explained the steps needed to be took to fix the fan. I wanted to pay and tip them more. They politely declined. In all, I did saved hundreds through his honesty. I was able to have a solution in a simple step by step manner. Thank you for your time and help. I will be a returning customer.

I would recommend them anytime to anyone, as they are honest (won't fix something that doesn't need it) and reliable (do what they say and when they say). I have moved to Tucson from Flagstaff (were we had a great shop---Randy's downtown) and had used Schroeder's on both of ours son's vehicles while they were here and we were still in Flag and I can't tell anyone how great it was to have a shop like the one we had in Flag,,,with the same integrity and knowledge. There prices are competitive and you won't be dissatisfied and if for some reason you are....they will fix it.

Could not be more happy. I did not feel like I was being ripped off, or taken advantage of like I do at most places I feel like. I did some research into other shops before I decided to have my car done here, and overall, I made a great choice. I did not pay for anything I did not need, I was walked through with everything, and was actually given the option with a few different routes that would be best for me for time, price, and work. And that is what was done. So thank you guys! Good job

This is a great place for any repair you may need! I called around and this was the only place that would see me the day of. I expected to only get my car inspected that day, but they were able to look over my car and repair it the same day. Bill told me what needed to be fixed and what could wait. I recommend this place to anyone and will be back for any repair I may need.

I came as a potential customer interested in a quote but the owner (I assume) was rude and dismissive. It's apparent he is not interested in your business unless he can reem you for over priced parts and excessive labor. $300 for a Wrangler clutch kit, really?

Call this company to ask how much something would cost to be repaired and the guy straight up said I have no idea. I would not recommend this place. They are not educated whatsoever it seems in what they do

Schroeder's Auto Service has been taking care of my '85 Mazda for most of its existence. I trust Bill Schroeder to do whatever needs to be done. I have always been grateful to be able to do that.

They did an outstanding performance with tightening up my bolts under my car and check the oil and everything else just in case something else was wrong with my car.They was very nice and treated my car with care as well gave me in dept description about what they really needed to fix and why ,Definitely will come back soon highly recommend.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Honest, skilled mechanics but they will charge you to run diagnostics/ check your car (even when nothing was fixed). This wasn't explained to me before giving them my car to look at.
