First time using Ray Scott's and won't be the last. Needed brake repair on my truck. Stellar customer service! They communicated well regarding what was needed and cost. Work was completed on time. Price for my repair was much less than I expected based on similar repairs I've had elsewhere.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

This place is intentional about taking care of you. Great customer service and the prices will be lower than any other shop, that's pretty much guaranteed. My radiator began to leak again after I replaced it. I brought it back and they replaced it for free. They didn't even charge me labor.I don't use mechanic shops very much but this is one I definitely will be returning to. Love this place. It's what business les should look like.

Been taking our vehicles here for years. Service has always been great. Keeps us Informed on what is going on with our vehicle and up front with the prices before any work. They have even found stuff under warranty that we didn't know about, saving us some money. Place is always busy so best to call ahead to discuss when it would be best to drop off. I do recommend this place for pretty much all your car care needs.

Ray Scott's Automotive is the best! Affordable, reliable, dependable and extremely honest. Grateful my sister Beki recommended them years ago. I always recommend them to anyone needing any type of care including maintenance and oil changes. I not only take my vehicle there, I also take my parents car there as well. They are very professional and kind.

Dan is great. Work is done when promised, the prices are fair, he doesn't try to upsell you with unnecessary other stuff. Before my last repair I got an estimate from an auto parts/repair chain. Their estimate was outrageous and they recommended replacing other parts that had been replaced only about 10000 miles ago. Here, the price for that repair AND repairing my AC system was only 2/3 what the chain wanted to charge me for 1/2 the work.As I said when I picked up my car, I'll definitely be back (just hopefully not too soon ).

My family has been going here for many generations. Ray Scott's knows my family name even though I'm married and have changed my name. As a female I feel 100% comfortable bringing my vehicle here on my own without my husband because I know I won't be lied to about what my car needs or the cost. Both cars I have owned in my life have been serviced by this place. You won't be disappointed.

EXCELLENT!!! I've been taking my long list of vehicles to Ray Scotts for the past five years. They have a variety of different mechanics that specialize in different things. Weather I'm bringing in my BMW or my old Ford truck, it gets done right the first time by the right person at a fair price.I couldn't ask for a better, more trust worthy shop! Would highly recommend!

Moved back 2 Tucson after 36 yrs & was having car trouble, my sister-in-law told me to take my car to Ray Scott as he does good work-my sister-in-law says she takesher cars there. Made an appointment and Ray Scott was even able to give me a ride home & notified me when the car was ready. 1 of his mechanics came back to pick me up & the car started messing up again but they found another problem and it was fixed within 1/2 hr. My husand always did all the work on my car as he was a Master Mechanic but he passed away this past March & now I know where to take my car when problems come up. These guys are friendly & helpful & my are they busy.Thx again.

They took the engine apart and realized the cost to fix car was more than what it's worth. Got my car towed home and discovered they did not put anything back together whatsoever after having the car for several weeks. Parts are scattered throughout the car including random parts in the trunk. I understand the car does not work, but at least have the decency to put it back together. I have never experienced a situation like this. Now trying to recoup losses and sell car but everyone is questioning why the engine is literally in pieces after paying a professional mechanic to look at it.

At first they were great. They were affordable and addressed every issue and on those specific vehicles which I still own, have not had any problems. I bought an 85 suburban k20. I'm not mechanically incopetent, it just takes me longer and I don't have the time to get it done. I had them rebuild my quadrajet. I bought the kit from don's hot rod shop and after sitting on it for weeks I took it to them as I was too busy. They quoted me over $200 and said it would take the full day, which I knew as I've rebuilt carbs before. I dropped off the carb and the kit, they called me within an hour to pick up the carb.??? To be honest, considering the service I've received from them with my other vehicles I didn't question it. Just figured they were that good. The carb was not clean on the outside but I still figured "it's just the outside". That was about a year ago. The carb still has issues. I recently found that the accelerator pump was not replaced during the rebuild, don's said the kit came with the part. Also when on the freeway and on an incline, the carb would sputter and die. I have replaced hoses, fuel pump (it needed it), checked timing, never once considering that the carb was the issue. The truck left me stranded with a $100 towing bill, and now that I'm looking into it myself, I find that the carb was not rebuilt, I can only assume that rebuild to them means dipping it in cleaning solution for an hour. That's not the end of my crappy experience. I took another 86 suburban and have had nothing but problems with it. Look around before you go here. Seriously.

*AVOID* I purchased a used Acura two weeks ago, the previous owner took the car to Ray Scott's to replace the front right strut mount. Today at the Acura dealership (90 days later) while doing scheduled maintenance they noticed the right strut was sagging. Upon further inspection there is now damage to the strut, drive shaft, and the inside CV boot. The mechanic pointed out to me that the bolt connecting the strut to the lower arm was not torqued correctly and caused sever damage. After speaking with Ray Scott himself he told me he would not help me because the warranty doesn't cover a transferred car. I reminded him that it was the negligence of his mechanics that caused the damage, and that this is a serious safety concern. Ray Scott agreed with me that the bolt was most likely not torqued properly by his mechanics. Yet he still refused to assist in any way, even telling me at one point that he does not stand behind his mechanics. The serious negligence and incompetence of Ray Scott and mechanics caused undue damage to the brand new strut. I am now having to go through the process in a small clams court, and have filed complaints through the Better Business Bureau. As an Air Force air craft mechanic I could go to jail if I made similar incompetent errors. If that one very important bolt was not torqued correctly what else is being over looked?

***AVOID*** 2009 dodge charger worse tune up a car can get.All parts were aftermarket parts. Wrong size spark plugs, never replaced the gaskets. After installing 02 sensors, I still had the same issue. After checking my car I noticed my radiator was hanging from one single wire! I couldn't believe that they didn't advice me of that issue. For all those cheap parts they wanted to charge me close to 500 dollars, they brought it down to 300 due to estimate they had given me which clearly shows that their work and parts isn't worth paying. I feel they took advantage of me :(
