Thorough, Reasonable, and Honest! My truck failed emissions so I took it to Jack and asked him to go through it. I had a pretty good idea what was going on but didn't want to throw parts at it. Chris went through my truck with a fine-toothed comb and made a few adjustments. Jack recommended a specific shop for me to have the catalytic converter replaced and I went with his recommendation. My truck passed emissions with flying colors. I couldn't be happier! Thank you Jack & Co.!

I was put on a hold for over a month. I found another repair place in Tucson, for that weekend, and for $430.00 and stead of $2000.00 Ramshorn, wanted.. I tried to be the good guy and called; and let them know that I am cancelling the appointment. I was told "WELL GOOD FOR YOUR" like unfriendly like. NO good deed goes unpunished. Yet it felt like a conspiracy; and my Chevy was running very badly, and they could not care. Just the facts, and given....wait a month and over $1500.00 says bad review...Mr.

This place is my go to for service. Use them for my work trucks and my personal cars. You can trust them to do the work that needs to be done and to let you know when something does not need to be done or is under warranty. That goes along with me.

UPDATE: Again, Ramsowers comes through with professional service with an eye to "Getting it done RIGHT the first time!" My GTO was in for her 500-mile, new-engine service and a check on a whine in the transmission. After new oil, a check on the roller-rocker adjustments and valve lash, they put a new metal filter in the transmission and, Wallah, no transmission whine. Jack still can't believe it either, haha! all good at Ramsowers!While my 'ole Goat took a little longer than usual, no fault of Ramsower's, their exemplary care for my car and patience of the team was top notch. The work performed was THE BEST and my car is ready for a cruise or a show. I highly recommend Ramsower's!

My timing chain was making a constant ticking sound that was getting louder and louder each day. Jack gave me a fair price to fix the problem. Since I picked up my vehicle, I m continuing to find out they also fixed numerous other minor issues that I never made them aware of in the first place. Would give less but the lowest I can go couldn't even work on a old car some mechanic shouldn't even call himself a mechanic if he can't work on all kinds of cars I wouldn't give a cent of my money to them also I'ma post bad reviews on social media and share this reply

Absolutely the best repair and maintenance company in Tucson, Ramsower's always gets me in right away and is very fair with their pricing. I have two vehicles that I take there all the time, a hybrid, which they have helped me keep on the road with over 230,000 miles, and a pick-up truck that is still on the road with Ramsower's help with almost 300,000 miles. Can't say enough good things about this shop. I love Ramsower's! Would recommend (and have) it to anyone that is looking for a great automotive shop.

Had a problem with my older Dodge van had bought the part but 3 different mobile mechanics failed to show up so having lived in the area of Ramsowers for years I stopped in they put the part on for me the same day with no appointment just to help me out their price was fair job was done right. He also was clear that it may not solve my problem because they didn't diagnose the van but would do what I wanted then told me if the problem continued they would help figure it out. I have not had this good of experience in any service in a long time. I would recommend them to anyone needing a good garage!

Jack, Bill and the rest of the team at Ramsower s are the best in the business no matter if the job is restoring your old ride or changing your oil. I brought these guys a 1970 Lincoln Continental that probably should have went to the scrapyard and they were able to bring the car back to life. This was not an easy feat as the team fixed one problem, another would arise (such as life). However, they did not give up on the job and they were not only able to salvage the car s 460 engine, they ve restored it to where the car runs better that my new car (and probably better than it did when it rolled off the assembly line). I ve owned classic cars for a good chunk of my life and the most frustrating part is not having a trustworthy and knowledgeable shop in your corner. Ramsower s has alleviated my frustration and they ll be the only place I ll trust with my land yacht. Thanks guys!

Amazing service and I didn't even have to get my car worked on, yet. He helped me test my alternator and saved me a ton of money from another shop that was lying to me. When I do need to get my car worked on I will be here!

Ramsower's Did it again!! Jack and The Guys are the Best! They did my Motor Mounts on my BMW 7series i couldn't even hear the car Running! i also had a intermittent starting Issue They found the Problem! i could have spent money on new Starter Relays etc but Jack found the issue and fixed it! ATTENTION LADIES! Afraid of getting screwed over by a shop? Look no further than Ramsower's. I've waited a little over a year to post this review to ensure the standards of service I receive are consistent - they are. I was going to another shop in Tucson previously (won't say the name because it wouldn't surprise me if they tried to sue me) and I was quoted insanely high prices for repairs I DID NOT NEED. I brought it to Ramsower's for a 2nd opinion and it was a $250 repair. I've been taking my vehicle to this shop ever since. The charges for parts are absolutely acceptable without a colossal markup, and the labor is extremely fair. I had to wait a few weeks for my 1st appointment (common with new customers in any industry), and now they always manage to get me in quickly and have repairs done in a timely manner (my AC just went out and the turnaround time from drop off to pick up was like 4-5 hours). The staff is amazing and kind and happy to answer any questions about what's absolutely necessary and what can wait. Don't get jacked over by some other sleeze bags - you've found your shop at Ramsower's.

I bought a truck from these guys and paid 8000$ for the truck that is supposed to be 4x4 and does not have 4x4 and they are not working with me to get it fixed, I bought it in Tucson and drove to Maine with the intention that the 4x4 would work, apon arriving in Maine the 4x4 does not work. I have taken it to a local shop that has discovered that the front axle has not worked for along time. They're ignoring me and will not return my calls.

I brought my beast in because it needed the tensioner pulley replaced for the super-charger belt (noisy!) but while checking it out they found a broken pulley and worn tensioner arm on the main belt drive - they then had to find and custom-match the pulleys because this is an aftermarket system (Edlebrock). Bottom line - all fixed, runs GREAT again, QUIET and the invoice was reasonable. These guys are freakin' awesome!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I bought my car in May of last year and Ramsower's has been doing an excellent job of keeping it running. Chris gets the car in to see the guys asap, he (Chris) calls back with the estimate and the work gets done extra quickly for a great price! In on Tuesday afternoon, ready Wednesday morning? Yes, it's true! Ramsower's Automotive treats both autos and people well, and I love that about them.

The air conditioner in my 2002 Ford Ranger suddenly decided to stop blowing cool air just in time for the Arizona summer season. Ramsowers has helped me keep this truck up and running quite a few times and they did not fail me with the air conditioner. It turned out to be a bad A/C compressor and so I had that replaced, along with a couple associated parts i.e. Accumulator/Receiver Drier and a couple valves. Of course the refrigerant was replaced as well. The air conditioner works perfectly now and blows very COLD air again thanks to the great team at Ramsowers. While they had my truck in the shop, they also adjusted my rear brakes and so now my brakes don't 'lock up' when I come to a solid stop. They have great customer service and are honest with their diagnosis and repair recommendations. They work with me to get my vehicles repaired in a timely manner because they know I live a long way from town and that my transportation is my lifeline.Services: Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

i have used Ramsower's forever, originally sent there by another service facility because of their expertise with older vehicles. Jack and his crew carry on the heritage tradition of Ramsovers with value priced expertise. Great little family owned business with excellent service. I really trust the people that work here and they are always more than happy to explain anything that needs fixing on my car. The prices are fair, they do good work and have me in and out of there quickly without having to wait around all day.

My husbands car wouldn't start. We are new to the area and was not sure were to take his car. I saw wonderful reviews online and decided to have the car towed there. I'm sure glad I did. By the end of the day it was done! And the price was reasonable as well. Chris was very professional and kept in contact with me throughout the day. We will for sure be bringing both are cars here! Great job!

These guys are awesome, good people. They know their stuff, and won t charge you an arm and a leg for repairs. I ll choose them over the dealerships anytime. As an example, they quoted me $260 for a front crank seal replacement. Orielly Chevy wanted over $900 for the replacement.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Discovered Jack and Ramswer's a couple of years ago based on a recommendation because I got tired of the dealership's over priced services. I trust Jack, they've serviced several Toyotas, everything from a complete transmission replacement to the usual oil change and a lot in-between. Ramsower's Automotive is a good reason to consider buying a used auto. Good diagnosticians, fair pricing, excellent mechanics. They know what they are doing and do it well. Service is dependable, in and out when promised.

This mechanic was referred 15 years ago by family friend. We have taken many of our cars there over the years and fixed well! It is not the original owner anymore I'm not sure who owns it now and haven't been there in awhile. But Carl was always bluntly open and honest with us! Getting ready take my 85 Chevy there in a week or so! They were a God send!

Just went and had them do diagnostic on a check engine light that popped up. They found the problem within a day and fixed it for a price about the same as the diagnostic fee of another garage. My grandfather recommended these guys and I can see why! Great service and friendly staff.

Fair prices, honesty, and good service. Given a reasonable time frame they were able to repair my car by the time I needed it and have ready for pickup.

I would recommend Ramsower's Automotive to anyone without hesitation. Professional and reliable and reasonably priced. Provided service at a reasonable price, and made professional reccomendations that were backed with experience. My go to auto shop from now on.
