I trust these folks. That's quite important for car mechanics. Afterall, most motorists don't know much about cars and depend and spend a lot on garages. I'm quite comfortable bringing in my '06 Honda Element. It's a car that needs to last as long as I do.

This is the best repair shop for Nissans, Hondas, and Toyotas in Tucson. They pour over your car with a fine-toothed comb and let you know exactly what work they recommend and how much it costs before any work is done. Highly reputable, highly proficient, factory trained techs who have never let me down. I highly recommend them to anyone who has a Japanese import.

Best import specialty shop in my experience. Took my Infiniti to them for years and had lots of work done at a very fair price and they were always quick. Now I take my Honda to them. A1 service every time. I recommend them over the dealerships any day.

I highly recommended Nihoto Auto Repair for these reasons. Daniela, receptionist is polite, friendly and professional. She schedule appointment to get my Lexus broken heater fixed. Andy, mechanic, is good hearted, professional and honest. Thank you for a fair price and being so reliable! It went very well and I am pleased and happy with the results by staying warm in the winter. Also, now my A/C works too for the summer. Andy the owner and main mechanic said, 'pull it in and we'll take a look'. The car needed a new valve in the AC system. The part came the next morning. I dropped my car off and received a call one and a half hours later. It was done. Expert service. Andy builds classic cars from the frame up. He knows his stuff. NIHOTO Auto Repair (Nissan, Honda, Toyota) is on Fort Lowell Rd near N 1st Avenue.Service: Air conditioning

My experience with them was excellent. They were honest, fast, and efficient. I avoided getting a bad deal on buying a junk car because of their expertise and sound advice. I will be using them as a regular mechanic once I get my car!

We took my husband's Toyota here due to hearing noises from the back suspension area. Employees were courteous and said they would take a look. Apparently was driven around by mechanic and they say no noise was coming from the car. Ended up showing the car to a mechanic friend and he says he hears the noise, and its probably wheel bearing is going out. Take car to pusch ridge auto and they drive car and say yes we hear the noise so we will fix it. Come to find out the bearing had leaked all it's grease/fluid and was grinding metal on metal so it was a good thing we caught it. If we had not gotten a second opinion we could have had major issues/possible accident. Nice people but concerned about their follow through.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I can t recommend this place enough! Recently while driving from Phoenix to North Carolina before the holidays, the check engine light and problem light lit up on my Toyota Prius, about 30 miles outside of Tucson. In a panic, I had the check engine light read and I called around to all of the local Toyota mechanics including the Toyota dealership. Nihoto was the only mechanic that gave me a quote, calling me back within a few minutes. I brought the car in and they repaired my water inverter pump within an hour or so, even having the part delivered. The service was excellent - quick, friendly, and affordable. I was able to get back on the road the same day, and I made it home in time for the holidays. If I lived in Tucson, I would be happy to support this business. Andy goes above and beyond! I took my highlander in for a simple oil change, and he also did my tire pressure and got the tire pressure light to go off that has been on since I bought the vehicle! I also didn't notice until I got home that he got my window to roll up! That had been malfunctioning. My go to mechanic from now on. Thanks guys!!!!!Service: Oil change

Probably one of the only honest mechanic shops out there. You always get the best prices and he's really honest and doesn't try to overprice things or tell you you need to get something that doesn't need to be fixed. It's family run and the whole staff is so friendly! This is my go-to mechanic whenever in Tucson

Sent the wife in with the 08 sienna. The ac wasn't working properly. They replaced a $60 servo motor for $400. Not only did it not come close to fixing the problem, the owner Andy lied about it. He tried to tell me the txv valve was electronically controlled. I found that odd because no wires go to this valve. I'm taking it to the dealership to have professionals fix it. Do not trust this liar. They tried to tell my wife another $700 control module could fix it. I found that part for $30 to $100 dollars. Absolute b.s. liars. Update: got the ac fixed at toyota, ended up being the compressor was starting to fail and there was a small leak.

These people saved my life more than once. I have a 2003 Toyota Prius, one of the very early ones, prone to transaxle problems and obscure check engine codes. Once I found them, I was no longer at the mercy of less experienced repair shops. No matter what new shenanigans this car presents me with, I am confident that the people at Nihoto will be able to clearly explain it, and fix it.

Very positive experience on my 1st visit to Nihoto.... They specialize in Japanese cars like Lexus and Toyota and don't try to sell you something you don't need..... Andy the owner is honest and fair.... I tried a lot of shops around town that specialize in these same brands ( Including the franchise dealers) but none of them compare to Nihoto.... I recommend them highly.
