The folks at My Mechanic have done a wonderful job taking care of our two cars. They are helpful, communicative and not trying to push upsales at every turn. I've recommended them to everyone I know when they're looking for a mechanic.

Once again, My Mechanic has done it again. They were able to service my car while I was in Germany. Franklin was very diligent in his communication with me regarding the timeline of my car. I'll be taking GoldNugget (my van) to them before I go cross country.

These people do amazing work! My car had been in and out of the shop for a few months and they were able to diagnose what was wrong with it. Friendly service, great prices, and the employees are very informative. Will definitely be using these guys again for any further maintenance work needed.

They were able to diagnose and fix an issue with my car on short notice that another place diagnosed incorrectly.Chris the manager is probably the nicest guy I've ever dealt with when it comes to an auto repair shop also.My only suggestion would be to clean the interior flooring up from the mechanics getting in and out if rocks and dirt happen.Besides that small issue, this place is absolutely honest and reliable and I will use them again in the future.

These guys are incredibly honest and fair, and do great work. I have a 13 Cruze that s high mileage - they understand there are some more cosmetic things I might not want to do on it, and have always been very straightforward about what needs to be done now, what can wait, and what s not really necessary. My car runs as well at 226K as it did at 126K and I ve been happy with everything they ve done on it.

I was driving from Alaska to Baja Mexico and needed some help with my rally car in Tucson. These guys were friendly, entertaining and unbelievably helpful to a passing English bloke in a car the like they had never seen. Thank you guys. I was referred to this place by a friend, and they worked very fast, and efficiently! Walking in, they greeted me very kindly asked for my patience as they took care of stuff. Absolutely coming back again, and they are really honest and helpful to the best they can.

I can t say enough about how great this shop is. They are very honest and transparent with the work they do and are such good people. I would not trust just anyone to work on my truck , but they gave me every confidence they would get the job done and surpassed my expectation! 5 stars is not enough for this family owned honest repair shop! My husband and I had to get our cars engine replaced and the experience with Billy and his entire crew was extremely professional from start to finish. They communicated with us during the entire process. They made us feel like family. They are trustworthy. Richard (or Boxx as he is known at the shop) is incredibly honest and trustworthy. He will go out of his way to treat you with kindness and the utmost expertise. If you need any work done on your car, come here. I could not recommend it enough.

We cannot say enough good things about this business. On the return leg of a cross-country road trip, having traveled a lot of miles over some very bad roads, we began to hear some worrisome noises from our 2012 Camry's front end. We were concerned that we would not be able to continue home without the possibility of a breakdown. In an unfamiliar town, with no one to advise us, we turned to Google and found My Mechanic. They had nearly 400 glowing reviews, which seemed too good to be true - but despite our doubts we decided to try them. We are so glad we did. This shop is run by the nicest, most professional and honest people we have ever had the pleasure to deal with. They diagnosed the problems with the car within hours, giving us the reassurance that, while some work did need to be done (which they did not pressure us to have them do), we could still drive home safely. They also provided courtesy transportation to our hotel, and later in the day back to the shop. As Dena, the owner's extremely kind and convivial wife who drove the shuttle van, told us, "We like to treat everyone as family," and in our case they certainly did. We were so grateful for their kindness and their service. And now we know why they have so many outstanding reviews!

Great service, quality results, and terrific personal courtesiesI want to write a lot about our experience with My Mechanic but I ll limit it to three areas: I give them the highest rating in the areas of service, quality, and courtesy. Service in what they did and how they did it, quality for the results, and courtesy in how they accommodated us with their attention, kindness, their loaner car for 4 days, and allowing us to stay in our RV (which is our home) for the 3 nights that it was in the shop.Our SituationMy wife and I live full time in a 1996 RV. The CHECK ENGINE light had come on just after arriving in Tucson and we got a referral to My Mechanic.Our ExperienceEven though they were quite busy they dove right into diagnosing the problem. Franklin, who we first interacted with at My Mechanic, gave us a clear and in depth explanation of the primary and secondary problems along with options of intervention, costs, and times, along with his recommendations and rationale for those choices. There were no surprises in the diagnosis because we had these same problems before, problems that other shops had addressed, which we had thrown thousands of dollars at, and which never really got fixed.My interaction with Franklin, seeing all the work being done there, how clean and organized the shop was, and even seeing all the mechanics wearing clean uniforms, inspired trust in me so we gave Franklin the go ahead. Joe, the owner, came out, having apparently gone over the situation with David, the mechanic who diagnosed it, and let us know we could stay in the RV overnight and use their loaner car, a recent model Chevy Impala.The work needing to be done took just under 4 days and they kept us informed along the way. While this was shorter by as much as half the time these previously failed repairs took at other shops, they were apologetic about how long it was taking, were very appreciative of our patience, and took care of us on various levels. They are very kind, respectful, attentive people.Because their mechanic Zenek was the best person to deal with rusted bolts, he was who Joe put on the job of disassembling our troublesome exhaust manifold. Like a careful bomb diffuser he was able to take the exhaust manifold apart without breaking any of the rusted bolts. Jamie, who like Franklin, is retired from hands-on mechanics and works in the front, called us along the way to let us know good news - like a doctor coming out of the surgical theater to let us in the waiting room know how well the surgery was going.When Jamie let us know the work was finished, we went back to the shop from the local errands we were doing with their loaner car. Jamie and Franklin went over what was found along the way such as critical cracks that other mechanics before them had missed. The cost was no more than what Franklin had originally quoted even though they had spent more time as a result of having to deal with the previously hidden problems.Now it is 5 weeks since we left My Mechanic and we have driven 819 miles as we ve continued our trip. Our gas consumption seems to have improved and the engine has consistently performed better than it has in the 2 and a half years since we bought the RV. It runs smoothly, sounds better, the transmission seems smoother, and the temperature is lower.We re not only very very happy we went to My Mechanic, we regret we didn t go to them first before wasting so much money on faulty repairs and the gas consumption those failures cost us. Whenever we come to Tucson (at least once/year) we ll go to My Mechanic, for a check up and even just to visit with Joe, Dena, Franklin, Jamie, Zenek, David, and Jesus. And Zoey, their very friendly blue healer.Services: Exhaust, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

My Mechanic is unlike any mechanic I have ever experienced. They not only know what they're doing with my vehicle, but they care in a big way - going above and beyond, taking time to explain what's going on, and giving me advice that I truly believe is honest. These guys are honest and fair.I came in unexpectedly and they welcomed me right away.I asked them for a battery, brakes, an oil change and to take a look over my vehicle for any other repairs that I might need.They had clear communication with me and even told me that my breaks and battery still had life left. They found some things that needed attention and told me what things I had time to wait on and what things needed to do be done right away.I even called around to see if they were giving me a fair price.I found these guys earlier by driving by and stopping by to see if they could help me check my fluids and check my tires. We were visiting Tucson as part of a long road trip and had to have an unusual sound in our car checked out. Turned out we had to replace the right front wheel bearing. The kind folks at My Mechanic got our car in and fixed the same day. The owner not only shuttled us back and forth to our hotel from the shop, she made excellent recommendations on places to eat and things to see while we were in town, including where to go to see a spectacular sunset. The service at My Mechanic is simply outstanding - both for our car and for us as out of town visitors. They really know how to take care of both. :) Thanks, Dena and friends, for being so amazing!! I am very hesitant to let anyone work on my 1970 GTO an literally have nightmares when it is away from my garage. Billie and his team did an excellent job restoring the front end to its original specs and adding a power booster to the brakes. It was always fast, but now I am able to stop much better. The team at My Mechanic is very aware of how much this vehicle means to me and treated it with the same care and consideration I do when I work on it. Thanks for a job well done and I would not hesitate to bring it back for any other repairs I am unable to complete.

I had such high hopes for this place, especially after all the reviews of other travlers. Being a women in a new place finding a mechanic that won't rip me off has been challenging in Tucson for some reason. I was highly disappointed by this shop . Dropped off my car and didn't get a call for a week. Called Monday, they haven't even looked at it yet. If you want a mechanic that is satisfied with "good enough" then this is your place. My car sounds worse/running rough after they "fixed" it. I brought my concerns to Chris and his mechanic and I was completely dismissed. I also particularly liked when they mansplained how to turn on my car correctly after it died after replacing a new battery ( that they installed) and blamed it on me not turning the key correctly than finding an actual answer. Sometimes there is no answer ( old car does funky stuff sometimes) I would have respected a " I don't know" than a made up excuse. If you have $2500 to throw away this is your place.

The team at My Mechanic has gone above and beyond to provide excellent customer service even connecting me with the right person to preform a service for my vehicle and answer questions regarding a parts warranty. Their knowledge, ethics, and true compassion make them a local gem. My Mechanic truly goes above and beyond for the community as well by supporting a variety of non-profit organizations. Well this only being my second visit for repair on my 08 Chevy Avalanche,I had previously been informed in detail the issues the mechanic found. At the front desk Franklin spoke about how long it would take to repair & as usual asked if I needed a ride back home. Said he d keep me updated on the repair.I ve been to other auto repair shops that aren t as receptive & open as My Mechanic. I actually got to meet Dena the owner as she came to pick me up on the extreme east side & we had a great conversation about how it all began for My Mechanic. Very nice lady and such a personable owner. I was made to feel welcomed & not just as a customer but almost like a family member,I can trust with my vehicles. I plan on bringing all my families vehicles here no matter the drive across town it s worth the drive knowing your vehicle(s) are in the hands of My Mechanic Repair & Maintenance. Had a great experience at the shop. Professionalism by the entire staff was first rate. Integrity is critical to the team. I was completely happy with the service provided and definitely recommend My Mechanic for any automotive repairs you need. The staff were all happy and positive, which indicates to me that they each enjoy their respective jobs. That's quite telling of ownership and leadership. I moved to Tucson worried I wouldn t be able to find a mechanic I could trust. My Mechanic and everyone who works there has treated me with respect, honored my car and her quirks and helped me with even picking me up and dropping me off!! I ve never had this kind of experience with a mechanic before and can t recommend them enough!!!

Franklin, Dena and Chris were all very helpful. I needed to make an appointment but the good service was worth the wait. They were friendly honest and communicative. They solved a vacuum issue that was causing a check engine light and fully inspected my vehicle. The inspection was thorough and detailed enough and I was not pressured to fix anything I didn t need. Everyone here that I came in contact with was super friendly and Billy was INCREDIBLY helpful. As a traveler passing through town with major car issues that arose while running errands Billy was kind enough to provide me with a general diagnostic while the shop was incredibly busy. He pointed me in the right direction by providing priceless information on how to go about repairing my vehicle with hopefully no charge at the Subaru dealership! Although I was did not have my repairs done here I definitely would have entrusted my vehicle to this team of mechanics. If I'm ever in need of a mechanic when I return to the area I'm keeping y'all in mind!

My mother recommended me to My Mechanic. When I called the receptionist was so nice , quickly got me scheduled. I dropped my car off and they gave me a ride to work and offered to pick me up also.I didn t end up needing it but they offer loaner cars and that eased any anxiety I had about having reliable transportation while having my car serviced. The Pricing was more than fair . It is a family owned business with honest people who want to provide quality service. I will not go anywhere else .Service: Steering & suspension repair
