Called an set appointment for a motorcycle fluid change. Brought in my own fluids. Was quoted a price of $110.00 over phone. I took the day off work for this appointment. When I arrived went over motorcycle with owner. Owner then quoted me around $400 at shop for a fluid change. Said you quoted me $110 over phone. Owner its going to require more labor to do the transmission and primary fluid change. I was reluctant to proceed but I took off from work that day and didn't have time to reschedule with another maintenance shop. So oil, transmission, and primary fluid change (owner provided oil filter) cost me $469. Owner also charged me $20 for shop costs (rags to clean up his shop work). Drove motorcycle home heard squeaking noise it was my rear brakes. They were worn. The owner did not even do a safety check or go over any other area of motorcycle as a safety courtesy check. Also the right rear tailpipe was loose when I arrive back home. Had to crawl under motorcycle tighten clamp. Owner stated his service fees are less than the dealer. Not! It was the same price and probably more. Having phoned around town for other experienced qualified motorcycle service shops I found a couple of motorcycle repair shops on 1st Avenue Tucson that were both reputable and reasonable with a full service fluid service including all parts and labor for $185. Would never recommend or do business with this individual or shop again.

Why get some mechanic making minimum wage to work on your moto when you can get Rich with over 30 years of experience to do it? He did some excellent work on my Tenere 700. I waited a few months before posting to make sure his work stood up to time. It has. I highly recommend Rich and Motion Sports. He might charge a little more but he does excellent work.

I bought a used Honda 919 off of Craigslist that seemed to be in good condition, but after 1 week of riding the rear brakes lost all pressure. I called Rich at 9:10 am the next day and he told me to come down so he could take a look. He figured out the problem within five minutes and gave me an appointment for 9 am the following day to get it fixed. He got the job done in less than two hours and at a good price. Rich will be my go to mechanic from now on and I can recommend him for motorcycle work in a heartbeat.Service: Brake service & repair

Left my bike with the owner a few days ago. When I got there I had my bike in the back of a pickup. Three grown men loaded it for me. However, when I arrived at the shop it was just me and the owner to unload. I need to mention I am a 5'7 female and my bike is a VTX 1300c about 750 lbs. The owner didn't bat an eye. We unloaded it and it was not easy. I knew at that moment I have found the right guy to work on my bike!!

Great work on my 06 vstar carburetor. It took a while but I already knew he was always busy. He was Highly recommended by my truck mechanic. Upfront on pricing and fair. If I can't fix my bike, he's the guy I will go to.Service: Carburetor cleaningService: Carburetor cleaning

I don't understand the few negative reviews. Rich is a very personable guy. He's a good mechanic for routine service on my 2019 Yamaha plus installing some aftermarket parts. He's my regular mechanic now.

Motion Sports will be the ONLY place I take any of my motorcycles for repairs. Rich is not only extremely knowledgeable about everything regarding the bikes, quads , etc. he works on but he also educates you on what the potential problem may be and different options for repair (if multiple options exist) which for a novice rider like myself was much appreciated. He did some work on my "new to me" used 2003 Yamaha V Star 1100 which was neglected by the previous owner and got it back to preforming/riding the way it should. I highly recommend Motion Sports and Rich because of his honesty, efficiency, and wealth of knowledge.

Rich is an excellent mechanic and did a wonderful job on my CBR. People like him are in demand, and despite being incredibly busy, he took the time to help me when I really needed a hand with my bike. Rich does excellent work! I have an older bike so parts aren't readily available so he orders them then when they are in we schedule the work to be done so I am wheel-less the least amount of time necessary! I send all my riding brothers to motion sports and they thank me for it.

Rich was great. Fair and up-front pricing. Great communication. Took my Rebel from three + years of hibernation and 10 years of minimal to no maintenance and got 'er up and running beautifully in something like a week or less. Highly recommend.

Rich's relational skills when conducting business through phone or in person absolutely blow. From what I've seen I'm the first one to call him out on this. But. He does get the job done. He's subtly negative. I'm not savvy on mechanics so don't expect him to be empathetic or sympathetic in any way. Just giving y'all a heads up.If you're gonna own a business, don't bite the hand that feeds ya. Or in your case Rich, be completely void of customer relational skills.

Rich has been working on my husbands bikes for years wouldn't take our toys anywhere but here!! We know our babies are in good hands when they are @ Motion~Sports *Highly recommend*

My 2001 Grizzly 600 was fix properly, it was in storage for a long time, it needed a bigtime service, small shop (and busy ) so you need to setup appointment for service.

Go here.This place was great. Fast service and even adjusted a few things that I didn't ask for. This place was well worth it. My bike hasn't run this good in a long time. It feels really solid.
