I have mixed emotions about sharing this fantastic review with you all, because once you are informed of how amazing this establishment is, it ll be even harder for me to get an appointment. Let s just say I would sleep in my car overnight if I had to to make sure, I could have it worked on by Micro Import Service. I have had several fantastic experiences with them, which amazingly started with my first interaction when I was not even sure I was going to get my car repaired or buy another instead. This did not deter everyone at Micro from giving me 100% of their full attention . I went to them originally after three other mechanics were unable to determine what the cause of a horrible rattling and shimmying was in my 2005 Nissan 350Z. When I walked in the door, I was told that the owner was a Z fanatic, and that he would probably know what was up right away. Mick was on his way home, leaving for the day, when someone caught him and he very happily took a ride with me down and around Speedway Boulevard. He pretty much knew what the problem was, but he was gonna have his incredible mechanic Howard take a look at it. And even though I was leaving and still hadn t committed to getting the work done at all, or there, the service manager, Alan, sent me home with a beautiful welcome to the family gift bag filled with all sorts of useful items, including a $20 coupon off of my repair. I decided to get the job done there and I have been back several times since, including a major overhaul of my suspension. After that, my almost 20 year old Z hasn t driven this well in a decade. I cannot gush enough about the quality of the work and the quality of the staff of this organization from the very affable David at the front desk who makes my day every time I go there even if I m fearing the worse about my vehicle. Alan is an amazing guy, and we have had multiple discussions where he has been advising me in my potential pending purchase of a new vehicle, and has promised to give any car I might be interested in the once over with a fine tooth comb before I buy it. I swear I do not want to purchase a vehicle that will not be serviced by these people. What does that say! They are simply THE BEST!!

Oh Wow! I am highly impressed with my experience at Micro Import Service. From the moment I heard Alan's voice over the phone as I was searching for a reputable and honest place to care for my LS400, I knew this was the place. Made my appointment for a Timing Belt Replacement, (less than a week) arrived as scheduled to be welcomed by a chalkboard with my name as well as others who were due to have service performed on their respective vehicles. These folks go Above and Beyond the norm and provide customer service like I haven't seen in since the 70's and 80's. My invoice at the time of payment was just exactly as originally quoted, and could not be more happy with how I was treated. I was provided with Uber during my service both to my home and back to the shop. I cannot thank these folks enough for how well I was treated, and the peace of mind of knowing ...."MY TIMING BELT IS BRAND NEW!!!" Highly impressed and I will be referring my friends to this location.

Just wanted to say that everyone there is great! Howard and Alex, the amazing mechanics, and Alan, Dave, and now Mikey in the office, and they are so nice! We've been going there for about 14 years now at least and will never go anywhere else as long as they're in business, which I hope is for a long time! You get free Uber rides too, there and back, if you need them as well. Their office is very homey and beautiful and they have comfortable chairs to wait in, and there's even a fireplace with candles burning in it! They have felt like family to us for a long time now! We very highly recommend them. They will work on any make cars and even know how to work on carburetors! We have an old 1967 Plymouth Valiant, and they have kept it running smoothly ever since we started going there. Not all mechanics understand carburetors! They work on it as lovingly as my husband used to when he could get down on the ground and do stuff like that! Mic Williams' legacy continues! God bless you and Trish. Not only do these guys know their stuff; they are also super accommodating and courteous. I came to them based on a recommendation from a friend and am now sending all of my friends their way. They've definitely gained a return customer!

Very professional, honest, and knowledgeable. There prices are very reasonable and they only use original Toyota parts. The facility is maintained in excellent condition. We were treated like part of the Micro Import family.

Weve taken three of our vehicles here for tune ups, head gasket, clutch replacement and ac issues in the past for four years. I'd trust these guys with anything toyota or subaru related (havent personally had another make here as of yet).

One of the most honest and upfront mechanics I have ever been to. You will only pay for what is TRULY wrong with your car and save money by not having to do things recommended by other mechanics.The waiting area is so peaceful. Would 100% recommend, customer service is amazing! Plus they offer an Uber service so you don t have to wait for your car all day!10/10 experience the manager Allen is very kind and courteous, the front desk associate was also very delightful his name was David! And the owner is also very kind. Just a very pleasant experience all around, nonetheless my car is fixed ( break pads got replaced & we got a full oil change )

I feel the cost of most services at this shop are more than excessive. My wife was quoted 120 bucks to replace the cabin air filter in our vehicle, among other super expensive recommendations (front and rear shocks/struts for multiple thousands.) Thank goodness she called around before committing to the work! We were able to change the cabin air filter out for 21 dollars and took less than 3 minutes. We also had the Subaru dealership take a look at our suspension and they're master technician and shop foreman stated the suspension was fine. I don't recommend and will share my experiences with my fellow Tucsonans!Service: Oil change

Micro Imports has consistently provided me with excellent customer service since my relocation to the Tucson area. Friendly and informative, they inspire confidence in their abilities. They use OEM parts whenever available and stand by their work. They are honest and will not try to get you to have them perform maintenance that is not required.It is for these reasons that I travel 37 minutes from my house to their shop. Best car repair shop I've ever experienced! I drove 15 hours down from Vail, CO to visit my parents in Tucson. The day I planned to leave, my check engine light came on. The car needed to be fixed and I needed to get back to work. Alan, at Micro Imports understood my predicament and despite the shop fully booked, he found a way to squeeze me in.Turns out there was a lot more wrong with my car than I thought and I was very lucky to have caught it early. I won't get into the details, but all of the repairs needed were typical of a 1999 Subaru with 140k miles. Alex, the Master Technician was very thorough in his inspection and was able to explain everything in words I understood. I had to call back twice to ask for clarification and neither Alex or Alan ever made me feel as though I was bothering them.Alan worked with Alex to determine the minimal amount of work that had to be done to safely get me back to Colorado. Living in the mountains 2 hours outside of Denver, it is extremely difficult to find a trusted car repair shop. Every repair shop I have been to makes me feel relieved when I pick up the car, but a part of me feels like they messed something else up accidentally or on purpose. When I try to clarify repairs I don't understand, they make me feel like I have inconvenienced them as they explain it to me. I don't want to take my car anywhere else except Micro Imports. Time and care was given. I never felt rushed or cheated. It doesn't hurt that they offer a 24k/2yr guarantee on their work. I don't even have to go back to Tucson, they would find a shop in Colorado. They sent me a nice card with some coupons in it for the icing on the cake. Look no further, honest car repair experts do exist!

Edit- 12/1/23Micro is still the best. Quick story, my little sister was moving across the country and her older car was making some questionable noises. I insisted she take it to Micro, because they are trustworthy and reasonable. She took my advice, got a diagnoses and offered the fix. Unfortunately, her skepticism won out and she decided not to have the car repaired before moving. Someone else told her they thought she was being taken advantage of, so she decided to risk it. Unfortunately, Micro was right and her car broke down in the middle of Texas. Fortunately she was near a town, unfortunately she had to spend a lot more than Micro quoted to have it emergently repaired. Just further proof that you won't be taken advantage of here. They take great care of my cars, they are honest and reasonably priced. I can't recommend them enough!---------------------Original review-I could not have been any happier with my experience at Micro Import Service. I have a shop that I love and have used religiously, but when I bought a new to me (but old) Subaru, I wanted to make sure that the people caring for it were experts. And experts they are! My goal was to have my car looked over so that I could handle any issues before they became dangerous. Micro did just that, and it wasn t a run of the mill 20 point inspection or what have you from a chain, they noticed minor and major things but not for the purpose of charging me more, some of the items were trivial but important to note and I am so grateful that they were so thorough. The list of needs was decent for a car that had no known service records, but Micro didn t make me feel overwhelmed. Instead the presented an idea of what was most important and helped me decide based on my current budget. I wasn t made to feel like an annoyance or hindrance when I called back twice for clarification, and the work was performed in the time frame set at the quoted price. I feel comfortable and safe driving the car now, and have an idea of future work needed as well as the anticipated costs so that I can budget for it. On top of all of the important stuff, the lobby is absolutely beautiful and I wish I had spent more time in it! They also offer a shuttle service so that you don t have to have someone pick you up. I am so grateful to have found this shop and highly recommend that anyone come here, whether you have a brand new car or one that is almost 20. Hands down the best.

5/5 stars, best experience at a repair shop I have ever been to.I was taken care of by David Ortiz & team.Amazing 3 year repair warranty on services, amazing customer service. Took my vehicle in for an oil change and inspection. They identified a few things that needed immediate attention. Fortunately they were able to make the repairs the same day. Prices are reasonable and they have outstanding customer service! I wouldn't take my vehicle anywhere else. I've been using them for the past few years and intend on using them for all my vehicle needs. Short Version: If you need repairs made on your import vehicle in Tucson, Alan and Micro Import SVC is the place to go! Just do it!Long Version: Imagine you are 1000 miles into a 3500+ mile adventure to Baja Norte for the winter. Most of your possessions are loaded up in your old and reliable Toyota and then the leak starts. It's a drop or two in Oklahoma City but turns into a much bigger leak by the time you reach Tucson. Enter Micro Import Services.SPEED-These guys got me in the same day that I called, finished the work of replacing two seals on my engine and transmission and my clutch in record time and had us back on the road within 24 hours of calling.COST-Repairs on import vehicles aren't normally cheap, but a lot of shops will gouge because they know there aren't a ton of repair options. Micro Import SVC charged a fair price for repairs and had quality parts in stock. The included warranty that is associated with their shop "CO-OP" is super nice too as we will likely not be back in Tucson for a while.CONVENIENCE-They are conveniently located in Tucson and we were able to walk from our hotel to their shop. The staff is super friendly and Alan kept us updated on the status of our truck through the entire process.Our truck is running great with no leaks! Overall, we had a great experience with Micro Import SVC and if we ever need work in AZ again, we will come back!

I love it here! I found Micro Import Service from the Google reviews, so I feel it is only fair that I leave one as well. I've been under their care for I think almost a year now, and I'll never go anywhere else again. They're direct, affordable, easy on my anxieties and Tim and the staff are all so warm and wonderful. They make you feel at home and they really take care of your vehicle as if it were one of their own. I had a LOT of delayed maintenance done on my car as the dealer was negligent on taking care of scheduled maintenance. Unlike Micro Import,they did not enter the servicing into the Car Fax database. Seriously the kindest mechanics I've ever met! They took care of my little Suzuki that is very old with a lot of miles, and were honest about the necessary repairs. They also paid for my Uber home while working on my car and gave me a little gift bag as a first time customer. Amazing service, and lovely people all around!

Looking for a new trustworthy shop, I gave Micro Import a shot on a recommendation from a friend. Shop is nice, people are nice, office is nice, they offer uber service to and from (included in the price). The only problem is the estimate they gave me was sort of "tone-deaf". I brought them a 2000 Subaru Outback and they treated it like it was a 2022. That's really great service. But, if your car is old, there will be invoice shock when you bring it here. In their assessment, my car needed $13,600+ worth of work (It doesn't need that much work). We're talking about a $4,000 car on the private market? Tops. I wish they had leveled with me or turned me away and given me a suggestion for an affordable+trustworthy shop I could take my car to. I know this isn't a good business model for them, but at what point are the consumer's needs a priority? I mean, who looked at this estimate before handing it over to the customer and thought "We got this in the bag, of course we'll win their business with this one"? Hello? What did they expect me to say to an estimate of $13,600? I also have to be the one to explain all of this to my wife. Imagine her shock when she found out our car is so unreliable it needs $13,600 worth of work! It took me 3 days to convince her that the car is fine and we don't need to go buy something else.TL;DR. I would take my car here and feel 100% confident with the work. I would describe this as Dealer-level quality work and service. I would not, however, trust them to level with me and tell me the truth about what my car really needs now and what is safe until later down the line. This isn't that kind of shop.

I trust them. They don't over sell. They guarantee their work and parts. They get me an appointment asap. The team at Micro Imports always takes such excellent care of me and my truck. On my last visit, I forgot to mention my wiper blades were wearing out (I only remembered because it started raining really hard). Without hesitation, Tim sprung into action and changed them for me - right out in the rain! Incredible team, incredible service. Always highly recommend them!

Alan and David are very trustworthy people! It was my first time going to Micro Imports and I really appreciated the communication that I was provided by the team. They take time to explain the details and lay out the options for you, and don t try to just make you fix things. If I have other issues, I will definitely be back!

I like to support a local own business that is reliable, professional, good quality with good value. The service cost is very reasonable compares to others. I used to pay more but not good. They care about the customers as they care their cars, and especially they care about public health. I felt very comfortable to be there as every staff wears a mask while they engaged with their customers. Unlike some other shops, they don't really care about this matter.
