McElroy's provides excellent service! I needed my water pump replaced and it was urgent to get my car back as soon as possible. The mechanic had it ready the next morning! I'm very satisfied with this company's service and will take my car there for oil changes and anything I may need for my vehicle. Thank you!

I read the reviews on Google and the earlier ones were bad. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them a try. After waiting two days to hear back from them ( I had to call them after they didn t return my call the first day) I was quoted $700 to change a bad alternator on a 2005 mustang. They said that their labor service was $119 an hour which even with that being said it doesn t add up to $700. The alternator cost me a total of $250 with a lifetime warranty from O Reilly. The thing is that I am ASE certified (certified to be a auto mechanic) and it only takes maximum seven minutes to change four bolts and a sensor after getting the belt loose. Search up a YouTube video even they are no longer than 10 mins showing you how to install the part. I could have done it myself but I've been putting in overtime lately at work. If you come to the shop don't be surprised about being overcharged for something small. I hardly never write reviews unless I have had a super bad experience or a super great one.

This place was amazing! We were traveling from California to Texas when we(my daughter and I) realized we lost the blinker and tail/breaker light in our car. We called and the fixed it right up for us. Bonus was they were super nice a d let us look at a couple vehicles they were fixing up. We would recommend these great guys to everyone!

I went to go have my transmission fluid flushed. About two weeks before going I called the shop to ask if they had the fittings so that the flesh could be completed and I was told that they did. I also verified this the day that I went into the shop.When I picked up my vehicle I asked who I believe the owner is the process of the flush. He indicated to me that they no longer use the fittings for this service. They empty oil from the transmission and refill it with new oil. He indicated to me that by doing this they have to add 5 quarts of new oil and there was approximately 3 quarts that would still be left in the transmission.I felt that I was being misled with how the service was going to be completed.In addition to this I was charged $26 to have my air filter changed which I could have done myself for half the cost. I was not even called to give them the authorization for this service.Don't get me wrong, they do great work but I think their practice and the way they conduct some of their business needs to be looked at.I probably won't be returning because of this. If it wasn't for this I would have given them five stars.

I took my car in as I had trouble starting my car that morning. To McElroys the labor description they wrote in the estimate was Starter assembly has new battery the estimate was 529.37 I said no no and was charged 35.00 I took it to Big O and got a battery starter check results were: good battery, starter cranking normal, charging system no problem. They wanted to charge me over 500 dollars and there was nothing wrong with my car other than an intake gasket. Less than 30 bucks I would not take my car there ever again. I would not recommend them. I believe they tried to overcharge me for something I didn t need and wanted to take advantage of the the situation. Bad business! Don t go there!

Over charge people!!!. Haven't seen the mechanics working they all stand there. I'm so disappointed with their service here. I towed my car here and they quoted me way to much for my fuel pump. I asked if they would take payments they denied. So we came to pick up our car. Then he says oh well your getting charged for the quote. They never stated I would be charged for my quote. When I get my car my battery is completely dead. My car isn't even starting like how I left it there. They were no help at getting my car out of the shop. They just stood there watching. Even after they got there money no damn help. Don't waste your time or money!

I love McElroys automotive! There family owned and they know how to take care of there customers. It can be a little pricy but every repair offers warranty. The garage manager Chris is amazing at what he does and the office manager Brenda is courteous. I highly recommend this repair shop for all your car needs!

Have been using McElroys for close to 3 years now. They have done everything from a tune up to replacing the transfer case on my son s Jeep as well as the clutch. One time I was having quite a lot of trouble getting my daughters car to pass emissions. Several other shops tried different remedies, but nothing worked. I took it to McElroys and They spent quite a lot of time troubleshooting and diagnostics on the issue. Finally came down to needing all the injectors replaced. The mechanic suggested I run injector cleaner for a month and see if that would help. They didn t charge me for the troubleshooting and guess what! The injectors cleaned out and we were able to pass emissions without a costly repair! Most shops would not do this...These guys are honest, fair and do not overcharge for unnecessary repairs.Tony

Would give a 0. The owner was rude. Try calling line was busy drove 30 mins. By the time I got there it was an 1 1/2 before closing time. He had no appointments and would not take me in said he busy but he was not he just backed out the last car before I left. Would not even check my truck to see it would be a fast alignment job. was really upset with this shop will take my money to someone who appreciates my business.
