During a road trip, our BMW suddenly displayed a Drive Train error. We immediately contacted several BMW shops, including Tucson BMW and Group One Motorwerks, to diagnose the issue. However, despite our urgent need for assistance, they were unhelpful and refused to connect the computer to our car. This left us feeling frustrated and stranded, with no clear solution in sight.Little Germany came to the rescue! I had the pleasure of working with Chris at Little Germany, and I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with his service. As my auto technician, Chris was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. He took the time to thoroughly diagnose and explain our issue to us.Not only was Chris an excellent technician, but he also had a wonderful demeanor and made the whole experience a positive one. He was friendly and approachable, and he clearly takes pride in his work. It's always a relief to find a technician you can trust, and Chris exceeded my expectations.Overall, my experience at Little Germany was fantastic, and that's largely thanks to Chris. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of auto service!

We were 3 hours from our home in New Mexico when we got to our hotel in Tucson, the power steering unit of our Audi dumped all of its fluid. We knew nobody in town and were on a tight time frame. We were at the mercy of "Googling" and after quite a few "no we can't or won't help you" conversations with other shops were discouraged to say the least. I saw Little Germany's # and thought a specialty shop would definitely be too busy but I called anyway. The gal who answered the phone listened to my story said, hang on...let me ask, came back and said the owner said bring it tonight and he'll look at it. He discover the issue, called me right away to give a price and time frame to do the work, the next day we were on the road!! Our takeaway was that from the first contact person to the owner and mechanics, every person had a true desire to help, it was obviously the culture at Little Germany!! We couldn't recommend anyplace any more than the humans there!! I wish all business had their attitude. Thank you all, we are grateful and won't forget the experience!!

Best European auto shop in town. The mechanics are first rate and have decades of experience with German makes. Family owned and super honest. Wonderful people to deal with. Trust is a huge factor when choosing an auto mechanic and Little Germany is all aces.

Took my Audi a4 in for some noise with the suspension, not only did they try to charge me 600$ for one bolt, they ended up telling me I had a massive oil leak that would cost 2 grand. If you know anything about cars you know a valve cover gasket costs like 20 dollars and it s easy to replace. They are trying to scam you, I highly recommend not going here. And if you do make sure you know how much your repairs SHOULD cost before you go, extremely dishonest abd deceiving. Not to mention my car was in the shop for 2 weeks and they didn t even tell me what they were replacing before I got there to pick up my car and they handed me a bill for something I didn t even approve.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Recently took my 2012 Jetta for brake replacements and could not have been happier with the service. From drop off to pick up. The front staff are knowledgeable and professional. Competitive pricing and honest feedback about what work needs to be completed vs. what can wait. Will definitely be using them for regular maintenance and repairs.

I wanted to leave a good review but I feel like I was somewhat taken advantage of. They did the work as promised and probably did it right. My only gripe with them is that they told me to look over and diagnose my issue that it would be $150. I stressed over the phone and before dropping off the car to not charge me more than $150. Upon picking up the car I was told it would be about 315 with taxes since they had to commit 2 hours in labor. My guy, that s just kinda scummy overall. I m financially struggling and we talked numerous times about it being 150. I didn t choose to argue with you then Chris, because I just had a feeling you wouldn t be kind and receptive to me feeling taken advantage of, and I really didn t want to argue with you. I also didn t take kindly to you just laughing off the extra money and putting your hand on my shoulder as a way to kinda say well this is how it is . Even if you did spend 2 hours on labor, we all know you don t pay your techs $150/hour. Realistically you pay them 15-25$/hour so you pocketed so much extra money off me paying more. Even with the 150$ service fee to diagnose and look over the car, that is massively overpriced, and something you likely profit over 100$/service on. Don t even get me started on the 300 dollar charge and how unfair that is.Regardless, I appreciate the work and it wasn t a terrible experience. I do definitely feel taken advantage of. Also I understand you are upset I didn t choose your shop to spend my money at for the work, but i definitely noticed a change in tone when I said I couldn t afford the repair through you guys. Kinda felt like you wanted me gone the second I told you I wasn t going to be able to afford your prices for the work and that I would do it myself.I m not opposed to amending this review if you reach out and we bury the hatchet.

I was one of those really unlucky people who experienced truly "extenuating circumstances." My timing chain snapped and obviously we didn't know until my engine was already pulled out and taken apart. This was a very hefty job, and took many many weeks to resolve, but the owner and head mechanic were extremely helpful, kind, and empathetic to my unique situation. Although things obviously didn't go as planned, I am still giving them 5 stars for their efforts and patience. I have had a few simple services done at the shop in the past and experienced great service.

I had them replace the clutch in my 2014 beetle. Cost was near $3000. The throwout bearing started going bad 20,000 miles after they replaced the clutch. (They replaced the throwout bearing). I came to them when I was 1000 miles out of warranty. they agreed that it was a faulty part and it was bad during warranty. I asked if they could help me out at least and that I don t need it warrantied. They said absolutely. They then call be and say that I need a whole clutch kit and it will be $2000. They said the clutch was slipping even though it was just replaced by them. 50k miles later and the clutch works fine and the throwout bearing still makes noise. Weird that this time it was cheaper than the first time when they re replacing the same thing. Rip off. No I m not going to call you and listen to your excuses.

My BMW 440i needed an oil change service. This was the first required maintenance since the factory warranty expired. I wanted to try something different than the Dealership. I had forgotten what genuine customer service was like! The owners, Curtis and Kelly, were in the front of the office and involved in the business. They are not afraid to introduce themselves and say hello. The service manager, Chris is personable and listens attentively to your requests. The shop was busy, all bays full and lots of stuff going on. I had an appointment, so work began at the time scheduled. Which was very important to me.My car was repaired out of town after a rear-end collision 2 and years ago. When I got the car back to town, I took it to the dealership for an inspection to ensure all repairs were satisfactory. The report was all good. I took the car in for scheduled maintenance two more times during the factory warranty, and the dealership signed off on the vehicle inspection each time. The technician at Little Germany gave the car an overall vehicle check and immediately noticed that the left rear control arm had not been reconnected after the collision repair! I had noticed a clunking noise, but I couldn t identify the source, and I just got used to hearing the noise after two years. Now the noise is gone, and the car handles better. I don t think this was a safety issue, but WOW!. That should have been spotted years ago!Little Germany is a great find, and I am relieved to have found a place I will be taking my BMW for any maintenance, while I own it!Thank you to everyone at Little Germany and sincere thanks to the technician who spotted and repaired the control arm issue.Service: General repairs & maintenance

#1 Certified European Auto Repair Shop in TucsonMy visit to Little Germany was exceptional. I brought my Volkswagen cc into this repair shop due to a check engine light issue. It turns out I will need to install an intake manifold, which is covered under the extended warranty on my car. Chris and his team treated me with the utmost dignity and respect. They made me feel warm, welcomed, and appreciated. I received the highest level of customer service support I could ever imagine. The entire team at Little Germany will go above and beyond to ensure your vehicle gets fixed on time. The facility bathroom and the guest waiting area were immaculate. The atmosphere was also welcoming, and I felt special as soon as I walked into the building. So do not wait around another minute in getting your car repair, check out Little Germany TODAY. You won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this auto repair shop to anyone who drives a BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Volvo, or Mini Cooper. Chris will ensure you receive the best quality repair and don't forget this shop does oil change as well.Thank you Chris :)Service: Auto engine diagnostic

What an amazing experience. The staff is courteous and Knowledgeable. If you own a mini Cooper of any kind you know how challenging they can be when repairs are needed. They were able to QUICKLY diagnosis the problem. Prices are reasonable( after all mini Cooper is essentially a BMW lol) we loved the experience and would highly recommend.

Chris Bawgus is without a doubt the most genuine service manager you'll ever meet. He inspected our Mini before we bought it, worked on maintenance issues/repairs with the car then went to bat for us with our insurance company. He always has time for his customers and calls them back promptly. He speaks to you in easy to understand car language. The money you spend for car repair and maintenance issues is well worth it. I have peace of mind knowing that Chris and his team provided expert work. If you need the best foreign service shop in Tucson, Little Germany is the place to go.Services: Electrical repair, Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Auto battery maintenance, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance, Battery, Oil change

Little Germany is a find: a true-blue family-owned shop that takes pride in their work, staff, service. They are quite fair, easy to schedule, timely, know their autos (and Chris has a wicked sense of humor;) They only work on a few makes, but if you're lucky enough to own one, you'll be lucky when you discover this Tucson gem.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

What an awesome auto shop!! Professional service and reasonable prices. Chris and his team are truly outstanding. He really cares for your car. Had a check engine light come on and called in. Chris said I could stop by same day and get that checked out. Definitely will continue to support this business with all my auto repair/maintenance needs for my Audi. Highly recommend Little Germany!!

I called to get a quote about 8 fuel injector replacement (912$ not bad price) then I asked for an estimate on 8 ignition coil replacements just to see what they would say. This clown quoted me 4,000$ when you have to take the ignition coils out to change the fuel injector. They tried to tell me it would take 7 hours to take the coils out when I know it only takes an hour. THESE ARE NOT REAL CERTIFIED BMW MECHANICS TAKE YOUR CAR ELSEWHERE.

I've taken 3 different BMW's I own to little Germany. I love that I can get parts there very quickly; most of the time same day or next day. Chris is wonderful he will either tell me how to fix it myself or if I feel the job is to hard they can get the repair done for me at a very reasonable price. I've been through many other car repair places in Tucson but now I wont go to any place but Little Germany. They are trustworthy and that piece of mind means very much to me. The ladies in the front office are so welcoming and friendly. Its very hard these days to get the customer service that these guys give out.

This little workshop is very personable and competent. They work with the customer to insure you are getting everything that you need. They do great work and their prices are as good as any. The staff are friendly and efficient, the mechanics are highly competent and flexible and the advice given is top-notched! I would recommend this place to anyone who has a mini (as I had). The work was quickly done, the mechanic actually called me when he said he would and I felt welcome there at every visit. I love Little Germany!!

This outfit came highly recommended by more than one person. Watch out,I'm certain the majority of these reviews are regular customers who they treat well. Don't rest on good recommendations, they are unethical.

I wish there were more stars to give! Little Germany is a FANTASTIC auto-repair company! This week, I found myself stranded due to a faulty fuel pump. Little Germany came highly recommended by a family friend, so I called Chris who helped walked me through the situation. He was kind, helpful and took such good care of my vehicle! All repairs were made in one day!My first experience at Little Germany in Tucson was fantastic! Great customer service, great prices and a friendly staff! This is the ONLY place I plan on taking my BMW to from now on!

Awesome shop overall - highly recommended. I have been bringing my 2001 325xi wagon to Little Germany ever since I moved to Tucson, about 3-1/2 years ago. My little wagon's been there for both regular maintenance and the occasional needed repairs (including pack rat damage) several times. Chris and the crew there do a great job! Their rates are very reasonable and I never have a problem setting up a convenient appointment time. They have always delivered quality repairs on time and at or under their quote, which is important as I'm a student and on a budget. I trust them with my car - there have been a number of smaller things that I've taken the car in for (some they catch, some I've caught) and they have been very helpful in explaining what's needed before starting the work. Chris keeps me updated when there have been larger repairs (necessitating the car staying there for a few days), which has also been nice. I've even gotten rides to campus or home when needed, which has also been a nice added touch. I'm glad I found these guys, they have been really great to deal with all around.

My experience at little Germany was great. I needed a timing belt , tensioner and water pump replaced in my Audi. I talked to Chris over the phone and wanted an estimate . He told me over the phone basically what it would cost . None of this so you got to bring it in , then we'll take it all apart and then will tell you how much it's going to be after it's all a part ,runaround that you get from most shops. Not only were they able to get my car in, in a timely manner they also did the work in a timely manner . On top of that since I lived near Chris he picked my car up that morning and delivered it later that evening, all work completed no extra charges . I've been looking for an outfit like this that would work on German cars in Tucson for a long time. I've had dealings with absolute lying crooks in the German car business in Tucson . Chris is as honest as they come . I suggest you don't take any chances with other outfits in Tucson just be safe and go to little Germany . I think you'll be refreshingly pleased.

I had usually taken my car to the Audi dealership here in Tucson for service. The uncouth, disdainful attitude of a service rep (retired now) drove me to take my business elsewhere. Finding a good mechanic is a hit and miss. I wasn't sure what my experience would be when I called Little Germany to make an appointment. When I showed up for my appointment, I was immediately taken care of. No hassle! No pressure! Extremely courteous and knowledgeable staff. And there is nowhere else I'd rather take my business than to Little Germany Tucson. Kudos.

This is an honest shop! Chris kept me informed. He gave me a bid to fix my BMW and he stuck to it, The work was done quickly and he had my car running better than ever.My repair cost $3,000 at Little Germany. That is way better than the $12,000 I was quoted by the shop across the street.
