The customer service is phenomenal, and they are always very detailed about what the issues are. They are also very honest, which I appreciate. Provided me with rides to work since I need to drop off early most times Most importantly, the work is done correctly and they know what they are doing with foreign cars. I highly recommend if your looking for a good shop.

I have been a client of Group One Motorwerks for almost a decade now, and I have not, until recently, had any problems or issues with this company. I faithfully bring the car in for annual servicing. I have a 2008 Smart ForTwo car that was having problems with the gear shifter mechanism. It was towed to Group One 3 times. The first time, it was a definite issue of an aging vehicle. The 2nd and 3rd time, it was apparently an issue with the mechanic (s) who "fixed" it, as well as a bumpy start with Kate and Brianna who run the shop. Very long story short...I asked the owner, Bart Lind, to step in and get my car properly "diagnosed" and "fixed"...and after a brief misunderstanding about who should take ownership of getting my car fixed and back on the road...he finally came through. He graciously delivered my car to my door, gassed up and washed, and he worked it out to where I did not have to pay any additional cost for the final fix. So far, my little car is running alright; albeit with a slight "lunging" every now and again...but I must say that Bart has kept my respect for the integrity of his company intact. He may want to retrain a couple of his personnel to provide the same quality of customer service that I have always had throughout the years. Genuine RESPECT and genuine COURTESY...that is what Bart Lind has kept intact for me. The 5-star rating is for Bart only.

***Update: I appologize, the sunglasses were in the crack between seat and center console at the very bottom, totally my fault(I did however looked through out my car before making this review). The work is excellent, very detailed. I have a short in my car that the actual Mercedes Benz dealership said they couldn't find and they found it. They are very professional, do good work and they do it in a timely manner.

BEWARE: This is not a shop you want to do business with! For a shop that charges almost the same exorbitant prices as the dealers, they certainly don't treat their customers with much respect. 3 below average service jobs there, the last job lacked such professionalism, a small claims case was required. There are many other more competent, less costly shops in the Tucson area, there is no need to even consider this shop an option.3/22/2024 update by Phil Y - Response to Bart L - Bart L states "The part was a special order from Germany. You placed a non-refundable deposit on said part, as it was not returnable." - Absolutely Not True. There was no mention of it being a part from Germany nor non-refundable. Again, an example of the lack of professionalism.

Overall, I believe the service was very good but I was surprised that the brake release knob was broken and I found that out when I released the emergency brake and the knob came off in my hand. Also the soft top was not closed completely but I didn t realize that until I got home. These are minor issues but issues nonetheless.I m very pleased with the work Patrick did because he found the problem with the ventilation system that was not caught by the Mercedes dealership even though I had asked them to check it more than once.I ll definitely be coming back for future service at Group One Motorwerks. Thank you

I had a bad experience, but after talking with Bart, I have changed my mind about continuing business with them. He was professional, humble, and quick to correct what was wrong, including giving me a refund. It is important for me to do business with somebody who has integrity and high moral work ethics, and I feel positive he will continue to monitor his employees to give the best service to his customers.

Had a good experience as a first time client. Took my mini in for an oil change and didn t have to worry about being sold on a ton of other services. I received an electronic breakdown of the inspection and had the chance to accept or decline any services on my own. No surprises and no complaints! Looking forward to any services coming up. Glad I found a trustworthy spot for my mini.

Group One Motorwerks did an excellent job on my pre-purchase inspection. They identified issues with the vehicle I was considering and helped me walk away from a car that would have required more work than I was wanting to put in.They worked very quickly and pricing was reasonable. Their technician walked me through the entire inspection over the phone and was able to answer all of my questions.My only critique is that the tech spoke very quickly and I had a hard time taking accurate notes of everything he said. However, overall the experience was positive and I would recommend them if you are looking at purchasing a Porsche.

Group One folks did and shared a detailed inspection of my vehicle....2002 VW PASSAT. The information that they shared with me, allowed me to make a decision for keeping my vehicle. Or NOT. They are PROFESSIONALS and beyond HONEST with providing the customer with "a true assessment" of your vehicles status....in my case "time to move on". G O has worked on three of my vehicles and I am "completely satisfied with their work".

Group One audited my Audi, photographed problem areas and sent me prices for potential repairs. Some of the problems had not caused me problems yet, but clearly needed attention. Very professional. All the staff kept me advised of status along the way. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

Car drives so much better after the 4 wheel alignment and reset steering angle sensor. Love driving my Porsche so much more now.

Lies Lies Lies. This company will cheat you in a heartbeat. Get everything in writing when dropping off your car. They actually caused a major problem with our 2014 E-350 Mercedes. They made a mistake and attempted to charge us for it. Then did something that caused even more problems with our car because we would not be strong armed into paying the for their mistake. Don't let them work on your car.

Easily the best import (Euro) repair shop in Tucson. Purchased a low mile BMW locally and brought it in for a trip inspection and O/C. Staff are welcoming, waiting area is fun and well kept, and the prices are extremely reasonable. It's hard to find a mechanic who knows what they are doing and it's even harder to find one that is honest. Look no further, you've come to the right place!!

I was buying a Porsche 996 in the Tucson AZ area all the way from the East Coast and contacted Group One to do a PPI on the car. Since I was not test driving or looking at the car, I was relying on the PPI and the shop s opinion as to whether or not I would move forward with the purchase. Ryan at Group One explained the entire PPI process and answered all of my questions and in the end produced a detailed report with pictures which he thoroughly explained over the phone. As it turns out, the PPI uncovered multiple issues with the car which needed to be addressed. When adding up the all of the repairs costs, what seemed like a good price for the car, now it wasn t any more. In the end, the repair costs provided a clear path to renegotiating the price. While the deal ultimately fell through, I can t thank Ryan and his team at Group One for potentially saving me thousands of dollars. 10 stars for Group One!

Group One is an independent auto repair shop that specializes in Mercedes and Porsche. I brought my E 400 in for a brake fluid flush. As a part of their service the technician did a thorough inspection and found a few issues that needed attention.The technician explained the what was needed and supplied photos to document the problem.I highly recommend them.

Though out the years my husband and I had many bad experiences with auto repair people, so when we found Group One Motor Works, we felt extremely relieved. We have been Group One customers for ~15yrs and have been very happy customers. Bart the owner is one of the most trusted people I know who will never sell you a repair you don t need on your vehicle. We have never had to question a service they have done or return our vehicle because of a bad repair service. His staff is friendly, professional and every knowledgeable. Keep up the good work and great service Bart!!

I HIGHLY recommend this place! I brought in my vehicle for an alignment, they did an initial inspection, it was not good! They gave me a list of things that needed replacing/repairing. Normally I d be so upset and think they were taking me for a ride, but they had pictures of each item on the list! I could physically see the damage! They were honest, upfront and helpful. I am so grateful they did that inspection!! They did not align my tires that day because it won t be effective until other things get repaired. They didn t charge me and didn t do unnecessary work!!

My Porsche convertible roof wasn't working properly, I was referred to Group One Motorwerks by a friend. I'll be referring them now as well. Super friendly team, great communication from the mechanic as the repairs were being done and the cost was reasonable. Repairs done sooner than expected as well. I would recommend to anyone needing repairs to your high end German made vehicles.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Group One Motorwerks is a joy to work with. Getting one's car fixed is like going to the dentist...not fun. However when we bring our cars to Group One, we know that we are working with honest, respectful and very competent people. Chris P. is as good as a manager can be and Owner Bart is extremely reputable and overall good guy! We have worked with numerous mechanics in the 20+ years that we have owned our 2 BMW's and Group One is by far, if not the only one that we completely trust with our cars and our best interest. Thanks to the brilliant technicians at Group One, they fixed two nagging problems on my old Mercedes that no other shop in town could do - including the dealership. Not only was the repair done expertly, but done so at a fair price.
