Went to have work done and instead of replacing old, brittle and worn plastic parts the sent me on my way. Needless to say the vehicle is still malfunctioning and they charged me over $100hr initially and told me to fix it myself when i brought it to their attention

Two years ago I hired them to inspect my vehicle before buying it and they said it was good. A few months later I had to buy an alternator, starter and battery. Then just a few weeks ago they worked in my vehicle again and charged my $900 for a battery and alternator. Then when I picked it up it had a HUGE oil and coolant leak! They do a horrible job at inspecting vehicles and charge way too much.

Five years ago I was given a vehicle that had been sitting for a while. I took it here and the mechanics and desk staff were amazing. I had a control arm, bushings replaced, tires, fresh fluids and filters and I was on the road in a day and not even sorry for what it cost. Since then, between chronic illness and COVID, I neglected the car. I was able to return and in less than $100 I had complete servicing. I'm so pleased with how thorough they were as well as completely honest and fair. It's hard to find good mechanics, I don't have to look any more. Got a full synthetic oil change, and a new air filter for just under $110. In a n.v d out in less than an hour. Owner Gerry Levario and his mechanics know their business and do a great job for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this garage!

Very fair, honest, and affordable. My usual mechanic/service guy moved so far across town that I was forced to look elsewhere for my car repair and maintenance needs. It still surprises me that in today's modern times, as a woman, I still get skeptical looks when I go to a shop and explain what's wrong with my vehicle, so I wasn't really looking forward to finding a new place. But the guys here were awesome and didn't doubt me when I explained what I'd already done to try and fix my issue! I'd previously replaced one of my ignition coils, but I kept getting a misfire error and assumed I must have done something incorrectly, so I brought it in. Turns out that during my repair, I'd bumped the hose on my coolant reservoir and cracked the plastic just a tiny bit, which was then leaking coolant down into the coil area and causing the misfire error. I had a few other minor issues that they cleared up for me as well, and it was all done quickly and affordably. Highly recommended!

Walked in off the street Thursday morning with minor but annoying item (headlamp replacement)that involved tools and time.I was asked come back at 1200( it was like 915 am).The two Gentleman that helped me out I would guess were the owner and possibly the manager or co-owner. They had me on my Way by 1230, and they did this DURING their lunch time! Thank you.I appreciated they saw a small job and squeezed me in before I got pulled over some night. I bought bulb replacement two weeks ago, discovered there was more to accessing site than I thought and I am down here without tools.I had , over past couple weeks, made a couple attempts to get service elsewhere, I even offered quickie oil lube guy cash for him and his two boys to go have some beers to help me out. They drove up the price but turned out they couldn t do it. (It s. Jiffy Lube:))I will start taking my oil changes there immediately and as car is out of warranty with Ford will use them all the time. It s good to know a place if I ever need towing destination for AAA ,and they appear to do most services.Mainly, they wanted my business and worked on me In appropriate way to make sure I was happy.They did charge me, but if it had been 2X price I wouldn t have blinked, I was so sick of driving at night with no light, and so relieved to find someone to do it quick , correctly , and for a fair price.Just off corner of Tucson Blvd and Grant Rd, next to an Exxon Station, on Grant Rd.

They saved me a lot of money and stress. Brought the car here for a second opinion before a long road trip. They gave me an appointment at a convenient time. Performed a diagnostic/inspection and told me there was NOTHING wrong with the car. No work needed. Diagnostic costs $40. It's a hell of a bargain compared to the first place I went for a "free" estimate. The other placed tried telling me I need to replace "both rear axles" at a cost of $750. A phone call to VW service revealed this to be BS, car is front wheel drive, has no rear axles) And immediately started talking up the finance credit approval program.(I had not asked) So, beware of the places that draw you in advertising low price oil change and free estimates. It's worth $40 to know the truth and not be treated like a fool because you're a girl.

My friends recommended this shop. Grant Road Auto Service is definitely trustworthy. Super friendly. Super helpful. Super informative. Took care of my serpentine belt right in front of me and it took the mechanic less than ten minutes. 10 out of 10 recommend, and i will definitely return for other repairs.

Gerry is one-of-a-kind. I have always had reliable and honest workmanship here and I recommend everyone I know to bring in all of their vehicles. They have always been fast, affordable, and safe. They treat me with respect but also take care of me and my vehicle.

A friend had highly recommended this auto shop, but the bill was far higher than my normal mechanic that I'm not sure if I can trust anymore. I was charged $98 an hour in labor. My regular guy charges $70. The other reviews online said this guy is affordable. For the amount of work done I thought it was fairly outrageous. I was told it was going to cost me around $200. It was $235. Won't be using these guys again.

I am very happy with Grant Road Auto. Gerry is great at what he does and has a great team under him. They have kept their word on everything they have told me over the last 3 years and are good at predicting timeframes. I have tried 3 mechanics in Tucson before Grant Road Auto and their service is by far better than the others I have tried. Keep up the good work.

I would give Grant Road Auto 10 stars on honesty with their customers. The owner takes great pride in integrity. I went to them after being told by a 'transmission expert' that I needed a thousand dollar repair. Grant Road found it was the plug on my transmission leaking which was under $100.

I brought my manual transmission in for clutch repairs, paying $1200.00 out of pocket. My clutch went out again within 12 hours after leaving Grant Road Automotive. I decided to take my car to another locally owned repair shop, and was informed Grant Road Automotive had done nothing beneficial to my car, and actually made my clutch issue worse.I then received a call from my nephew, who had his oil changed, at Grant Road Automotive, realizing, 1 months later, the oil change was not performed by Grant Road Automotive, despite paying their fee of $79.99.I attempt to support all locally owned businesses here in Tucson, however, Grant Road Automotive lacks integrity, honesty, and good service repairs.I would not recommend Grant Road Automotive to anyone needing repairs or an oil change.

Thought my alternator bearings were going out on my 2002 Cadillac Deville, because of a loud winning noise under the belt. Would have been an expensive repair. Turned out to be my idler pulley. They only charged me $160.00 for diagnosis, parts, labor and repair. Dropped car off this morning picked it up this afternoon. Highly recommended. Honest, fair an fast work!

I have been going to these guys for a couple years now. The ONLY place I take my truck in Tucson. One of the auto part stores recommended I go there, and I'm so glad I found them. Grant Road has gotten me in quickly every time I've needed work done, are patient and kind, and very fairly priced. More importantly, these guys are honest. I am a young woman who doesn't know too much about cars; I've been taken advantage of in the past by other mechanics. I know that I can trust Grant Road Auto to take care of me and my truck.

Very good and honest service. Prices are also reasonable. I read the feedback and the shop lived up to my expectations. I had asked them to change the air-filter and they didn t because it was good. Some services would not change the filter either, but would charge you for that anyway, not telling you it was good.

FANTASTIC customer service!! My first time at their business, and it was my best time at an auto center. Gerry and his crew are incredible, prompt, and the quality of work is great! I have used this business 3 times and was completely satisfied all 3 times. They did both major and minor repairs and were done in a very timely manner and at a great price. I will take my vehicles to them exclusively and recommend them to friends and family.

I called to schedule an Engine Diagnostic Scan. They got me right in the very next morning they ran the diagnostic it came up with the 4 codes all pointing to ECM failure. Yup.. Time for brain surgery. So I called up Flagship One, who specialize in these, placed an order for their OEM replacement,plug & play programed ECM. Engine Specific/Last 10th & 8th # of VIN Does Not have an EGR valve. Now I'm about to put it in 2 weeks later! Exceptional service along w honest Diagnostic Codes and very affordable rates equals One Happy Customer.Recommend this establishment without hesitation.

I was recommended to go here by a friend. It was clean and the staff was friendly . I did not have appointment but they got to me quickly. Repairs came in at the estimate. This was just a year after I bought my (used) Nissan Altima. I had got a used car with around 160K miles. The car drove with a clean carfax, and good evaluations from the mechanic when I purchased a car. The engine check light went on, and I wasnt experienced with these things then. I blindly trusted grant road auto service and asked them to evaluate the problem. He told the catalytic converter had gone bad and it will cost ~ $1000 to get a new one. I agreed and got it replaced. I forgot to take the receipt for this purchase too. Years afterwards, with more repairs on my car and self learning, I realized that check engine lights go on for several reasons. I bought myself a code reader to understand more about these things. I also read about probable indications of catalytic convertor gone bad. No way the catalytic convertor went bad then. I was naive and the shop owner had just taken me for a ride by replacing an expensive part for nothing. Taught me a good lesson to do some homework each time mechanics quote some expensive part replacement.

Grant Road Auto Service is a very unique establishment. I will tell you why. The owner and staff are both totally honest and absolutely competent. This combination is like finding a diamond in a bag of rhinstones. I trust them utterly!

They were nice and friendly here, I fixed my car here, and it was done within one hour. They gave me suggestions of how to fix the car, starting with the most gauranteed way to the least. The receipt was detailed, parts and labor.
