I recently found myself in a bind with my rear window hinges on my Ford Escape. Over the weekend the hinge broke off and I had no idea how to go about getting it fixed. I called a few window repair shops, but no one would just replace the hinges without replacing the rear window. I am on a budget due to just moving here, so I had no idea what to do. I stopped in at Gerber and within minutes David Manherz came out to chat with me and look at the problem. He let me know that his technician would be back any minute and could take a look at it. He was extremely personable and let me know if they could help then they would. I dropped the vehicle off a couple hours later and within a couple hours they called to let me know it was ready. THEY SAVED MY DAY! I cannot say enough on how great everyone was at the shop and I will definitely be back if I need anything done with my vehicle. If you are in need of anything with repairs on your vehicle, I HIGHLY recommend Gerber. Thanks again David and your team.

Had some body damage repaired on my Toyota Tundra and I am 100% satisfied with the end result! Kept me informed through the whole process and I can't thank Gerber Collision and Glass and team enough for such a great job done!

Great work on car but discrepancy on date of payment caused upcharge on rental car. Pain on 10/26 but receipt reflected 10/30. Was in ZPHX from 10-27 -10/30. Can't explain error but it was incorrect.

They are fixing my car at the moment and what was supposed to take two to three weeks tops is going on two months! They have changed the date on me three times already. Last time they changed it was the day before I was supposed to get my car back. This is beyond rediculous had I known how they work I definitely would have taken my vehicle elsewhere this is insane I have kids I have things to do!!!

They gave me an estimate of under a month it s now been two and I keep getting excuse after excuse. Now I gotta wait another week! It s beyond rediculous at this point. I have got the date, for getting my vehicle back, changed on me every single time. I have had four different dates already it s crazy to me how many good reviews this place has

Nobody wants to go to a collision center but the people were great. Debbie and Aubrey made the process easy and answered all of my questions. Timely repairs and great staff.

We took our Nissan Rogue there to have the rear bumper replaced from a fender bender accident. Ricardo who was our service coordinator was great. When we drop the car off on Wednesday morning he said it would be 3 days or so. We actually picked up the car late Friday afternoon. The work was done professionally and they even detailed the inside of the car. Superb service. A quality place to get auto body repairs. Hopefully we won't need auto body repair work done in the future, but if we do I would not consider any other places.

I was at fault in a side-swipe accident a few weeks ago that caused damage to one of my headlights and my front bumper/fender area. Gerber is just a few minutes from my house and they were listed through USAA as a trusted repair shop. I took my car in on a Monday morning for repairs and it was ready by Friday afternoon! They called to give me updates on the status of repairs and coordinated with Enterprise for my rental car -- I was picked up from Gerber and was able to leave my rental there when I took my car home. The quality of the work was very good and my car was clean and beautiful when I got it back. They even touched up a few non-related scratches for me at no charge! Though I only needed to pay my $500 deductible, they were upfront with all of the charges for the repairs and gave me a detailed estimate. They even offered to repair the clear coat on my roof (which unfortunately I could not afford at the time). I would go there again and will recommend them to my friends and family

Your car has been in an accident or just needs some body work. This team of craftsman are great. The ladies at the desk were very helpful at explaining paperwork. The estimators were patient and also explained work to be completed and time line. The best part was the completed work. Good work Gerber!

Took my Jeep here for an estimate on damage to the passenger side. Someone backed out of a parking space as I drove by, denting and slightly scratching the molding along that side. Got an Estimate from a Marcela for over 1600.00. I later decided that the molding replaced may be new or aftermarket and would probably would not match and it just wasn't that bad. The molding alone was over 600.00 not including labor. Called back and was told thru the front desk (as the person who did the estimate was not in but on the phone) that they would drop the price 200.00. Really? Over 600 but you'll drop it by 200! Needless to say I did not use them and never even got a call back from her.

I would give only one star but they did the paperwork. My daughter's car was totaled on a no fault accident and since Gerber noted high mileage and damage not due to accident, my gap insurance wouldn't pay the loan off. The high mileage alone took 700 dollars off the assessment. Who cares! It is totaled folks and it wasn't my daughter's fault! This wasn't explained to me before I signed the valuation report. I am now stuck with a 1600 dollar payoff on a totaled car. Tried to resolve and no one called me back. Furious after 3 months so I gave up.

Good place. They really helped me after I was hit. They were very sweet, straight forward, and kept me well updated over the couple weeks they had my car. It was returned to me cleaner and in better shape than even before the accident.

The first time I ever used their service they were fantastic. Today my car happened to break down in front of their shop and the first thing they did was come to see if I needed any help in this 111 heat. Absolutely love and would recommend to everyone.

Love the work they do... it's guaranteed forever... They fixed my car after a tire on a Las Vegas freeway demolished my hood and roof... The paint they used was a bad batch and faded after 2 years but I took it to Gerber here in Tucson and no problems getting it repainted...

I would give these guys a 6 out of 5 stars if I could. I have dealt with these guys twice now and they have completely exceeded all expectations. This last time I needed a rush job because we were moving out of state and they moved their schedules around to make it happen. They also ordered some supplemental parts that were needed after taking off the bumper even before they got approval from Geico. All of the staff is very professional, competent, listen to your concerns, address questions, etc. I just wish they would move out of state with me to help with potential future needs. Thanks Gerber!!!

I had an estimate done today, and it was completely ludicrous! The lower portion of the rear cover on my rx8 is torn. They advised me they could somehow fix the stretch marks on the upper portion of my bumper, but the torn part would have to be replaced. This is the same part, molded together, and cannot be taken apart, as they are 1 piece. How does a body shop tell you they will replace something that cant be replaced? they are working for the insurance company. they also informed me my broken tail light was from sun damage... why only one? both tail lights live in the same sun. it is obviously from the rear end collision from the person they are representing. My transmission wont go into 2nd gear, and they informed me " this cant be from the accident, its your synchros"... Any good mechanic will tell you that gears, shift forks, and synchros are easily damaged in a rear end collision. but no surprise, as they don't even get out tools to diagnose for an estimate. So, internal damage, my bumper bar, my bent exhaust, all left off of the estimate. " that's how its done". according to the estimator. What a joke. When I told them Mazda doesn't sell the parts she mentioned separately, as they are 1 piece and do not come apart, I received a snipy " i'll advise Liberty Mutual". no concern for my issues, she trested me like a liar and a 2nd class citizen from the first time I talked to her. It is obvious who's best interest this company has at heart, and it is definitely NOT the consumer.6/7/2016- No, Gerber has not reached out to me to resolve any issue. In fact, they have not tried to contact me at all. When I dropped my car off at Mazda, they were amazed at the bad estimate, and laughingly told me that Gerber's estimator had not even put the visibly damaged parts on the estimate, ( the rear bumper) but had put parts that didnt need to be replaced instead ( the end caps for the bumper). I told the Liberty Mutual adjustor this when i was given the estimate, but she ignored the fact, treating me as if i were stupid. The estimate I was given on visible damage was far too low considering i was quoted for the wrong parts. These are not internal parts that you cannot see. It is my bumper! As for your reply, This is the only time i have been acknowledged, right here on my review, not as help to me, but to sway public opinion of how i was treated. Unacceptable as a reputable business. If I could give you negative stars I would. I will now call the BBB.

They replaced my front bumper cover, drivers side headlamp & cover, a section of the grill and several other smaller things. Someone backed into my parked car. It took a little over a week but they did a really nice job.

Had the front end of my truck repaired a few years ago by Gerber on Lakeside Parkway. A few weeks after the repair my bumper trim kept falling off. When I took it back to Gerber I was told they would need it for two days to make the repair. A rental at this point would have been my responsibility. I opted to glue it on myself.Today, I was replacing my headlamp and when I removed the headlight assembly, I discovered that the entire back of it was broken but had been epoxied together. During the removal process, the back of the assembly broke into pieces.Gerber saved a few hundred bucks by doing shoddy work. More importantly, they lost a customer and gained a crappy review.

From the door it was bad and got worse. I had the displeased of dealing with David ... the Assumption Man. I entered and seeing no one in the lobby area went to the seating area to wait. A voice comes from an adjacent room asking me if I needed help. I said yes. Out comes a male who did not introduce himself but asked again "What can I do for you?". I explained that I needed a paint correction estimate. He then asked "Are you filing insurance?" I responded "Why is that the first question to ask?" He handed me a clipboard with a form to fill out. I started the form. He says " Different insurances require different systems". I said "I'm only here for an estimate." He grabbed a camera and turned to me saying "I need your keys". I responded "the damage is on the exterior, easily seen." He smirked, laid the camera down and retreated to the side office where the voice came from. I finished the form, rose and placed it and the clipboard on the desk in the lobby. I went outside to stand beside my vehicle. I waited. I waited. He came out and started circling the car inspecting the bad paint. I explained what i was hoping to achieve. He grabs my drivers door which was still locked and I opened it. He took a picture of my vin tag inside the door jamb. We went back inside. He went to the computer behind the desk. I sat and waited. In walks a female and her daughter. He jumps up and runs around the desk to GREET her. I am waiting. Finally I look at him after he has a few minutes of light conversation and he realizes that I have noticed that he has abandoned me for this newcomer. He turns and says "As soon as I finish with Ms... I will help you and goes back around the desk. She stands by the desk and her daughter takes a seat. He finishes, prints my extremely high estimate and hands it to me saying "If you get insurance then we can file through the insurance". I tell him I have been driving for 40 years, been insured for 40 years without issue and have full insurance on all my vehicles. I alsdo tell him that his assumptions and his way of treating me like a favor instead of a customer is highly insulting. The female states " We will wait outside" grabs her daughter who spills the coffee she just poured on the floor and retreats to their vehicle. He opens and holds the door as if he is inviting me outside. I just sit and look at this inflated estimate and then at him. He then gets paper towels to wipe up the coffee and the joins the two "damsels in distress" outside next to their vehicle. I would never recommend this service provider and will tell everyone who will listen to take their business elsewhere. I have never in my life been treated like this when trying to spend my money for a service. DO NOT GO TO GERBERS.8/23/2018 - Update. The "Owner" responds via this review to say that his Manager has contacted me. That is a lie. No call, no email...And what would it be for? My business is lost to them. Yours should be too.

I phoned for info on a repair. After a very long wait on hold, the Lady who answered the phone was not knowledgeable and not very helpful. I asked to speak to someone who might know more she put me on hold then came back on the phone and said no they could not fix my windshield I would have to replace it this is without even looking at my windshield. I was very disappointed that I could not speak with a knowledgeable person for any explaination. I will not use this company.
