Our car got side swiped an almost 1 1/2 years ago and we had Gerber try and repair the paint and broken parts. It s been back to them 2 times and still the car is not repaired correctly. To start, they had the car for over a month the first time, headlight misaligned, overspray everywhere, deep sanding marks, runs in the paint, broken clips not fixed. This place is not a good choice for vehicle repairs.When they completed the work, we had our car ceramic coated. The company that we hired to do it found major blemishes in the work. Mentioned it to Gerber and their response was, they will not see it . Well, we did see it. Took it back again, to have them fix it, they did more damage. We honestly tried to have them fix their mistakes 2 times. The quality just continued to get worse and more damage was done.Another issue that we noticed from the second repair was more paint runs, more overspray, more broken hardware, and substantial increase in mileage on the car. We found the seats all laid back and the choice of music on the radio station, not anything we would listen too, and paint materials inside. They took our car for a joy ride.It was so bad that State Farm insurance came out to inspect their work, couldn t believe the amount of damage they created in addition to the original repairs. If you have an option, run away from this place.Finally after the 3rd time in the shop, Patriot Auto Works fixed all their damage. Highly recommend Patriot Auto Works, and his team for fixing our vehicle the way it should be fixed and the constant communication. Unlike Gerber .

My insurance recommended this company in October to get a small area painted above the driver side rear door of my Ford F-350. I got my truck back with the door weather stripping not attached, the cowl tore up, roof trim broken and what looks like primer on my roof. Garbage! It s been 2 months and I m still waiting on corrective actions. I m just going to eat the cost and have a Ford Dealership fix these issues. Never again!Service: Painting

Had service done reference rear end to my truck. Area to where driver side tail light mounts was damaged and bent. Chipped paint and exposed metal. Woman deemed the damage from another accident. If it was wouldn't there be rust to my exposed metal?Outside paint was good. Inside paint they ignored and wrote off along with bends in metal. Now I have to sand and paint to keep from rusting. Hopefully a paint pen will do the job.

Excellent work. It was a long turn around time but the work is worth it. Better than before the accident. Body n frame Strait n true. Gerber does great work. Well worth the wait. This was a left side bender

Hats off to the entire Gerber Collision Team! Highly recommend!First of all, I dropped off my vehicle and got updates via text messages/phone calls on the status of my vehicle.Secondly, they finished my vehicle a day earlier than anticipated. Thank you so much!Third, they washed my vehicle and cleaned the inside. Completely unexpected.And lastly, they took my rental car back for me.I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. All staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. They re practicing social distancing but still make you feel welcome.Thank you so much! I hope I never need your collision services again, but if so, I ll be back and will recommend without reservation to everyone I know. A million thanks!

Great service!! Even with the social distancing measures in place Gerber did a phenomenal job in making sure I was well accommodated and my vehicle was finished in a timely manner. I had a BB dent in the side of my vehicle and the team came out right away and took the estimate and got the repairs done quickly and the work looked amazing. Got the car back and was updated regularly which was really helpful and I appreciated the constant communication. Highly recommend to anyone needing auto body repair!!

This is the second time I've been hit by someone else not paying attention since I moved to Arizona. I brought my car to Gerber both times now and the employees are absolutely amazing here. Very respectful, hard working, keep me updated on the progress of my car daily (either through text or my call) plus they finished my car much sooner then they had expected. Gerber Collision is definitely a great place to take your car for body work.

I have mixed feelings about the place. I was in a car accident so the other person s insurance paid for the whole thing including a rental car. I was told they would fix a bunch of little things on my car which they didn t but I guess I never really expected them to since talk is cheap. I was also sent auto updates which were automatically generated but completely inaccurate. One of them told me my car was done but it actually wasn t done for a whole extra week. Overall not a bad experience especially since a lot of their staff were out with COVID. Now that I think of it I think some of the parts were delayed because of COVID too. Anyway the staff were nice, they tried to respect social distancing, and the repairs appear to be fine. So I give them 4 stars.

Awful experience. I took my car in and never received a call for 3 days. I had to call them to find out what was going on with the repairs on my car. Three days after that was supposed to be my pick up day but I did not receive a call. I decided to call and they let me know that my car was not ready for pick up (at this point it was been a week and a half that they had my car.) They said it would be ready in another couple days and it ended up being a total of 2 and a half weeks in the shop. They never called me to give me updates; I always had to be the one to call and find out about my car. The receptionist was absolutely rude as well as the staff. When I finally got my car back, the alarm did not work. I called to speak with someone to find out why it wasn't working. They all laughed at me and made me feel like a stupid woman asking why the alarm to my car was not working. That is just downright poor customer service. Staff was incredibly rude and I could see them making jokes about me. I decided to call corporate and let them know of my experience and how not one person would help me with the alarm situation. Come to find out it was this place had failed to put the rubber piece that connects it to the hood of the car that activates the alarm. The piece was never ordered for my car. I still do not have my car due to having to take it in once again to get this fixed. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I suggest people go elsewhere.

First visit was last week, this place is a approved repair partner for Liberty Mutual Insurance so checking it out.Quick and great customer service for the short visit there.They gave my car a quick inspection and started the parts order. Car is scheduled to be dropped off Wednesday and they also have an enterprise rental car center here so I should be able to get in and out quickly.... will update later.

Would give negative stars if possible. My sons car had damage from a monsoon. My insurance company referred us to Gerber. It took Gerber over a week to pick the car up and 5 weeks to complete the repairs. The final week they said it would be done the next day, for 5 days. Finally they completed the work on Friday at 5:45 pm. We were both at work until 1:00 am. They failed to tell us they close at noon on Saturday and when we called to ask them if they could stay 5 minutes late so we could pick it up we were told no. This is the worst customer service I have received in a long time. Read through the reviews. There is a pattern there. Take warning, go somewhere else.

UPDATE, in reply to the owner's response: NO, the shop HAS NEVER CONTACTED ME about this issue. That is obviously your standard 'cut & paste' response to negative reviews to make the public think your customer service cares. THEY DON'T. You should probably drop that tactic on this forum. If YOU cared, YOU would have contacted me personally to address this. It makes apparent that this egregious business practice is deliberate and is standard procedure for Gerber Collision.Original Post:Over the years I've used Gerber several times for repairs both small and large and was always happy with the service and the work, although repairs almost always took longer than estimated. Last week our Infiniti suffered some minor garage rash and I took it straight to Gerber, confident the cost would not be much more than our insurance deductible.Gerber's quote was somewhat more than our deductible. Still, I did not file an insurance claim and went ahead and scheduled the repair. I dropped the car off, but in less than one hour Gerber called to inform me that the repair would now cost nearly 50% more than what they quoted. Again, this was for simple cosmetic damage -- just a very minor dent and paint -- and no, there was not any hidden damage discovered. They could provide no explanation why the estimate was so different from what they now wanted to charge. I could only surmise that the cost went up because they now had the car in house and the job in pocket. Perhaps they figured I'd then just hand the case over to our insurance company and then they could milk the insurance best they could.Nope. I canceled the job and returned to pick up the car ASAP. A couple days later another shop did a great repair for much less than Gerber's ORIGINAL estimate; about half of their revised estimate, plus I had the car back the day after repairs began. By attempting to swindle a few hundred dollars, Gerber just lost a long time customer. Before this experience I had no reason to go anywhere else, but now I will never return to Gerber.

I can say i am a real customer and i recently used these guys to buff out scratches from my paint. They did a fantastic job and i would trust them to work on my car again. I was helped by Don and he is a nice guy and very honest.

These guy's are awesome! They did a great job fixing my car in time! Fast reliable! They even polished my old cloudy headlights just like new! Very highly recommend! 5stars! Thank you!

Gerber fixed my car and they did a good job. However, as soon as I left the shop, the VSA engine light turned on as I was driving. I went back to talked to the staff, they told me to drive it for a full cycle about 200 miles to see if the light would turn off. Nope, it's currently still on and I called Gerber's adjuster and she told me the shop engine light scanner is "broken", therefore they can't help me delete the code and check the engine light. She said she will give me a call when the scanner is fixed. I've been waiting for 3 weeks now, until this problem is fixed, I leave this review as a 1 star.

To make this short : Worst customer service of my life. Every single time I have called and spoken to someone there even a manager has done nothing but lied on top of lies. Never knew it was possible for such a lack of professionalism, communication, and honesty. 7 times they said the car would be ready on a set day each of those 7 days was set up with excuses. Finally had enough and turns out they even caused more damage to our car that we have to repair. NEVER EVER COME HERE. Fake reviews that fooled me, don't set yourself up. Completely disappointed.

They were consistant on communication and very detail oriented when it came to the damage of my vehicle. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I would recommend Gerber to my friends and family.

Very unhappy with service or lack of. Had wrecked car towed there. Received numerous emails saying my car was being worked on and saying we are in the home stretch. Received a call 2 weeks after they had it giving me a completion date of 4 days. I then get a call 3 hours later telling me it is totalled. What the heck....run don't walk from this company!!

I took my new vehicle here to be buffed out as the car wash scratched it with their brushes. They were awesome and did a fantastic job for a great rate. I will use them again and refer them to others!

Do not use this company! They allow anyone to walk up to the counter and take the keys for any vehicle on the lot no questions asked. They also keep no record of who takes vehicles off the lot. My vehicle was towed from there yesterday and never made it to its destination and they could not tell me who took it, where it went, or even when it left!

I would not trust them. GEICO insurance keeps an office there. I was told Geico estimated repairs to my car at $3300. They have a 2.9 out of 5 rating. Taking my car to a 5.0 rating shop and BBB rating of A+ at Central Collision Center for less than $1,700. GEICO has refused to accept the lower estimate and want to salvage my title. GEICO gave me credit of $50 for a rebuilt transmission still under warranty. It use to be they paid the lowest estimate. Trying to understand their motivation. I will not consider GEICO in the future even though I'm looking for a new insurance agency.

This place is a joke had them replace and paint a bumper and hood after the second time bringing it back to them it still had horrible swirl marks and orange peel finish. Insurance had to send me else where which made it look great the first time.. Stay far away from this business.
