I brought my Porsche 944 Turbo ('86) here to get a whistling noise dealt with. The experience was fantastic. The tech took the time to diagnose that issue, as well as many others. Turns out Mark (my tech) use to work for Porsche and is very familiar with the 944 models. He was able to fix my issue (timing belt) and address a litany of other issues the car had been having. While the initial fix cost me more than I was anticipating, I'm really glad Mark and Dana took the time to effectively communicate with me about my options and set me up with a working vehicle. They helped me to preserve my classic even longer. Highly recommend bringing your legacy Porsche here if you have one!

Please choose another European mechanic! After spending $6000+ in repairs on my BMW, my car had to be towed in for yet another issue. I was quickly told my engine was done. No options, no discussions! So being a female that knows nothing about cars, I took their word for it and sold the car on Facebook Marketplace for $800 and was forced to go buy another car. The guy that bought the car, came driving up my driveway a week later to tell me it cost him $89 for a timing gear!!!! Really unfortunate set of circumstances for me. This situation cost me thousands of dollars for European Auto Tech negligence!! Go someplace else!!

John and the crew at European Autotech have been taking care of my vehicles since the late 90 s.First off, I have never seen a shop so consistency clean. It is great to know that the environment is clean and tidy. What sets them apart: honesty, reliability, friendliness and knowing the job will be done right. The prices are always lower than the Stealership, and done with more care.Dana and Linda at the front are always friendly and helpful. I have been in a few binds, and they were able to assist and get me on the schedule.Any service that needs to be performed will be shown to you, as well as explained in layman s terms. The Cliff Notes Version- I won t be taking my vehicles to anyone else.

I ve used European Auto for service on my older Mercedes ML for several years. I ve always found them honest and very professional. Recently the car developed a weird sound that avoided detection on two or three visits to the shop. It kept coming and going, but gradually got louder and more frequent. European finally found it (a small bushing extremely hard to see). After all their time spent, they not only fixed it; they refused to charge me for the work because of the hassle of having to come in so many times before it was resolved. What businesses do you know that put their customers first like that? If you need service, go there with absolutely no hesitation or concern. You ll be glad you did. And Linda is particularly pleasant.

I took my BMW X5 here to get some major repairs done. Overall, I had a great experience with them. The repairs were done right and they communicate very well with what's going on. They were not pushy at all about repairing the minor things that needed to be done on my vehicle. Which was nice. Some shops will do that. I'll definitely be taking my vehicle here from now on to be serviced and for any other future repairs.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Very knowledgeable staff, both in the office and in the bays. Found and fixed multiple problems, accurately and efficiently. They accomplished what the local Mercedes dealership on one of their competitors could not do. Pricing was competitive and service was well above the competition. I will bring our Mercedes back for future maintenance.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery, Oil change

This is a must-read for anyone using Mercedes Benz of Tucson for Service. I shudder at the fact they "serviced" it since 2009. I had the costly misconception they were the most qualified until several of their misdiagnoses practically deemed my car undrivable.A friend of mine raved about European Auto Repair, and out of desperation, I thankfully. brought my car to them, Every one of their employees is not only exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly, but they are all consummate professionals. After several extensive corrections and repairs, the results exceeded my expectations. My car is as peppy and beautifully responsive as it did several years ago. It is, once again, a pleasure to drive.Thank you, European Auto Repair. I am immensely grateful!Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Let me start by saying that I m a rocket scientist/engineer who grew up poor doing most of the required work on his own vehicles. Also, I generally understand the work being proposed and being done.I went to European Auto Tech because this shop has been around awhile and appears as a sponsor on the local BMW Car Club of America s website as a sponsor of that club. What follows is what I experienced at this shop when they recently did a repair. My goal for writing this review isn t to damage someone s reputation and business but to communicate what you too may experience and to help this shop be better.I brought my 04 BMW Wagon in for an alignment and to have tie rod ends and stabilizer bar links replaced. European inspected the vehicle and let me know that it needed additional bushings associated with the suspension. No mention of a worn steering rack was communicated at this time. I picked up my car a few days later and felt that the steering wheel was clocked slightly to the left when going down a straight road, also I noticed that about 30-40 miles had been put on the car. I brought it back to European and communicated this and they put another 30 miles or so on the car and said that they didn t agree. The lady, Dana stated that because my steering rack was worn, this could be the cause. My car has a sport suspension and I noticed that the alignment sheet they provided had specs for a standard suspension. I brought it back for a 3rd time and this time to avoid what appeared to be someone running errands in my car, I took it to the shop that European sub-contracts with for alignments. The alignment shop corrected the alignment and gave the car back to me. No apologies were offered for me taking time off of work for a third time trying to get my alignment done correctly, by either European or the alignment shop. I continued to feel that the steering wheel was clocked slightly to the left and European said that this was most likely due to a worn steering rack. I pointed out that if the steering rack was worn they should have said that they couldn t perform an alignment without that being replaced. Having lost confidence in European, I took my car to the BMW dealer and got an alignment. The front was within specification but the rear had to be adjusted. The BMW dealer said nothing about the steering rack being worn. I asked European for the money I paid them for an alignment back and after about 2 weeks and a few phone calls they refunded my money. No apology was offered.I believe this shop is attempting to do the right thing and are hard working people getting up every morning and going to work which is more than can be said for a lot of people. I didn t appreciate the runaround though and won t be back. I think the dealer is your best chance to get work done correctly but I ve had them do poor work too. Yes. I m a hard customer to please.

This place is awesome, neat, clean, friendly knowledgeable. I had tried a competitor first, after 3 weeks they didn't fix my car. I took my classic Mercedes to European auto tech they had it figured out and fixed the same day WOW. I run an auto repair shop myself and from a professional point of view they are the one to take your euro car to

I have owned a 2001 Jetta GLX since 2010 and have only ever used EAT for service and repair, with the exception of bodywork. While I am a certified commercial aircraft mechanic, due to injuries and an autoimmune disorder, I am increasingly being limited in how much of that type of work I can do as I slide into middle age.My VR6 threw the timing chain at 122k Mi. EAT was able to do a top overhaul and restore the engine. It took two replacement pistons and several new valves. It wasn't cheap at over $7k but considering the stealership told me it was scrap and I have since driven the car for a decade, I would say it was a wise investment. Plus, it is the most enjoyable car I have ever had the pleasure to use as a daily driver.Doesn't really matter if it is a VW, BMW, Merc or even a Fiat. If you have a European car and want to save a bit of money while getting the best experts in town to fix your car, European Auto Tech is the place to go. They have saved me money many times in the past by repairing electrical and electronic components that the stealership would insist on replacing. In fact, that's how I first found EAT, way back in 2010, when the relay module above the battery fried itself. They must have repaired it 3 or 4 times before it was too far gone and I had to buy a replacement.Sadly, they will no longer install customer sourced parts but it is with good reason. They offer an excellent (for the industry) warranty and as such, they want control over sourcing parts. Other than that, they have never disappointed.I will also be seeking their expertise whenever I get around to buying another daily driver (this Jetta is just too hard to replace), I will be turning the old girl into a weekend warrior and it is just the sort of job they look forward to. There is only so much I can do myself, lacking a hydraulic lift and having a bad back. It is also likely the Mk IV will be replaced by a newer Type R and guess where I will be taking it for at least some of the maintenance and repairs....Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance, Battery

These guys get it. They want the job done right! They want you to be a happy customer. Everyone is attentive and willing to help YOU. They will diagnose the problem, then explain what needs to be done. They will even bring you out into the garage and show you the problem, try and find a dealership or another shop that will do that! They will also let you know what options you may have to get the job done. European Auto Tech is the only place I trust with my BMW's.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Went here for a comparison quote after the dealership's extortionate diagnostic results for my M3's throttle issue. Thought I would have to wait a week with European Auto Tech (they are busy, which is a good sign) for the diagnostic, but they managed to fit it in sooner. They requested an additional pretty pricey test to determine exactly what was wrong, which I was reluctant about doing without having any sense what the total damage might be. They gave me a worst case scenario quote, which was still lower than the dealer's, so I agreed to the second test. The quote dropped even lower, as it was determined that the part didn't actually have to get replaced (as the dealer insisted). I've been driving the car for a couple weeks, and it's running exceptionally well. You can trust your luxury car with these folks. Customer service was stellar, and everyone from the front desk, to the owner, to the shuttle driver (and obviously the technicians) were fantastic.Service: General repairs & maintenance

On June 7, 2022 I dropped off my 2008 VW Beetle with the hope they could determine what was wrong with the A/C (intermittently working) and the door lock mechanism. After conducting their initial investigation they gave me a quote of $1466 to replace the compressor, drier and expansion valve, which was too expensive given I was selling the car. I later repaired the A/C myself (after buying gauges/vacuum pump) by replacing the solenoid control valve ($70 part). I was disappointed they did not offer any alternatives other than replacing multiple expensive components. It is well known that intermittent operation of the AC can only be caused by a handful of issues. I understand businesses want satisfied customers so they want to do the repairs to the best of their abilities to ensure long-term success, but they should give the customer options as well. On the up side they did repair the door lock mechanism.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I highly recommend European Auto Tech (EAT). I live in Seattle and bought a 1983 Porsche 911 SC at online auction from its original owner in Tuscon. I planned to drive the car from Tuscon to Seattle, so wanted to make sure it was tip-top for the trip. After having EAT recommended to me by the seller, they completed a number of large and small jobs. Dana and the front office are incredibly proactive and detailed with communication and status updates, which made me completely comfortable working with them long-distance. The work itself was completed by Mark, a technician with significant Porsche experience who is meticulous and clearly takes great pride in his work. When I picked the car up, seeing the EAT shop and the car for the first time ever, I was even more impressed. Clean, friendly, professional shop with a team who loves what they do. I have high expectations in general, and I was very pleased with the results. They took time to walk me through all aspects of the car, provided some tips for the trip, and made me think about moving to Tuscon just so I could continue working with them. And... I drove the car more than 2,000 miles, returning to Seattle. Warm, cold, day, and night, the car started on the first turn and it performed perfectly. Don't take your prized classic anywhere else. Credit to John and the shop and team he's built.

I ve been taking my vehicles to European Auto Tech after a recommendation from a friend and everything about the business is of the highest quality. Dana and Linda in the office are friendly and very knowledgeable and John has hired talented techs that know the vehicles they service. The service is an exceptional value over the dealerships. I recommend this business to friends and family all the time.

I am new in town and brought my 94 Mercedes in based on the reviews. I am very satisfied with my experience. I was kept in the loop on every issue and given the choice to address it or not and I was kept updated on a daily basis. They had to do a lot of work on my car and I felt the prices were more than fair and the outcome of the work is evident in how my car now drives. It feels and drives great! I have every confidence I will keep this car for many years and use European Auto Tech for all of it's service needs.

Get you in as soon as the schedule allows and do a great job troubleshooting before they give you a repair quote. Found a major issue on my car that other shops hadn't identified.

What did my red E46 325i have in common with my silver E46 323i? They both only went to European Auto Tech. Everyone there is great and they actually care about the customer. They realize that if someone can not afford or does not want to fix something right away that the customer will come back to them if they provide great service. The parts are NOT marked up and the labor is very reasonable, especially considering how knowledgeable everyone is including the employees in the office. I've taken my vehicles there more times than I can count and I've never had an issue with their work or customer service. I recommend them without hesitation.

Fantastic Service!I recently moved to Tucson and had an issue with my Mercedes. I took it to the Merc place and they quoted me a large amount and said it would take ten to twelve days to fix. I googled and found European Auto Tech. They not only fixed the problem swiftly, but saved me a lot of money. They have great staff, very good communication, and even cleaned my embarrassingly dirty car for me! If you have a European car, don't go anywhere else.

This is the kind of review that five stars just can't cover. And, this is the kind of review that inspires me to write: If I didn't have a vehicle that European Auto Tech works on, I'd buy one so they could!European Auto Tech is the gold standard for professionalism, friendliness, and honest repair, in my opinion. After a few years of not keeping up with its service, my 1999 ML320 was in need of lots of work. they were able to identify and fix a number of issues that were of concern to me, and some problems that were starting to get really serious. I used to work on my old cars years ago, so I knew just enough to acknowledge and understand the necessity of the repairs.I'm really glad I found European Auto Tech. They exceeded my expectations during every step of the process. My SUV runs great now, and I'm confident that they'll take good care of it in the future. I would recommend them without hesitation.

My Jetta needed some TLC. Check engine light and scan warned of an overheating issue, which can lead to complete vehicle failure. I was nearly ready to shop for a new car, but the professional team at European Auto Tech saved the Jetta from the junkyard and me from a car payment. Exceptional service, they call when they say they will, reasonable pricing. I will never take my car anywhere else again!

I have only been here twice but both times I had A+ service on my BMW. When I first purchased my car I was nervous to go anywhere but the dealership. After searching on Google I found this place by all the previous good reviews. My first visit was due to my water pump breaking. They also alerted me of other optional fixes. Since I was out and about running errands I asked them for estimates and they went as far as emailing me an itemized estimate. I picked what repairs I wanted and was pleasantly surprised at how small the bill was. They even went above and beyond and cleaned my oil pan from the cars oil leak. The second time was for a small headlight repair. I had previously replaced the same headlight at the dealership and spent nearly $400! At European I paid less then half of that. Not only was it the exact same part but the service/labor time was only 30 minutes compared to the hours that the dealership would keep my car. After two great experiences I can't see myself going anywhere else. The only downfall was that my car's tire pressure light has needed to be reset since my first visit. I asked if he did it during that first visit and he said yes....but it wasn't done. My boyfriend also noticed that there was new white scuff marks on the front as if the car hit something while in the shop (we noticed when we got home). The marks came off with some heavy cleaning so I never felt the need to contact the shop about it. Other then that I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this shop and would highly recommend.
