On 4/6/2024, I was pulled out of the parking lot at Reid Park Zoo in Tucson. I saw a pothole in the road and tried to avoid it, but couldn't miss it. My tire started losing air pressure. I was able to make it to this Discount Tire. The staff and manager did everything they could to find a tire that would work for me. The required tire size is hard to find. The manager Ruben Lopez was able to find one tire in Tucson that would work. I commend their efforts as I wasn't relegated to leave my car there for many days.

The cost was decent and the care was amazing. It was a good place and a nearby restaurant was good to go to while there. It took 90 minutes I believe to put the tires on.

Update 2/28/24: Take your business elsewhere.While I do appreciate their previous work today was just different. Customer service simply isn't there.I just didn't trust the guy.Vibes don't lie.Never returning.Update: Outstanding Service!One of my tires sidewall was damaged. Angello had it replaced under warranty!Great customer service!Spoke with Thomas and he answered all my questions regarding the set of tires I purchased awhile ago.Very knowledgeable.

On a BMW X5 with very hard find Super Wide back tires that are Bullet Proof Run Flats they found the last one in state got it shipped in and reordered all my tires back into correct running orientation. Bagged up Dirty spare put in back car for my BMW mechanic finish working on car. Super fast install time when you set up an Appt ahead time. Thanks Guys.

Huge shout of to Tyler, Give that man a raise. He was such a sweetheart, checked and fill my spare on the back of my jeep which I didn t even think about. He also let me know that my tires are still in pretty good condition but they were 8 years old so it would be safer to replace them as the rubber will breakdown over time. Very friendly and helpful.

At this location, I worked with Thomas regarding getting my tires dismounted off my wheels for powder coating, and then later remounted and balanced. I could not have been more pleased with Thomas and service his team provided. Thomas was amazing from start to finish. Wonderful communication, prompt, and quality work by his team.I ve been here once before to get new tires, and it was the same experience, so this time I wanted to leave a review for this shop, and recommend them to other folks. I ll for sure be back whenever I need anything related to tires.

I don t usually write reviews, but this place really deserves it . Took my car in to get tires rotated and the service was phenomenal. They also replaced a windshield wiper , that another discount tire placed the wrong size . Thank you to the manager and staff for the great service . I appreciate it .

Not my favorite place. For some reason I always feel like they're trying to "make a deal." They quoted me a higher price than a competitor on lesser tires, and when I mentioned the competitor price and tires, they wanted to "make a deal." So I chose the competitor instead. Go local!

Sent me home with my valve stem leaking air. Told me tires were bad and wouldn't give me any service. Big O Tires put a new valve stem on my tire for free and sent me home happy and also got brand new tires for a great price from Big O Tires without any hassles. Discount don't care about one's safety on the road.

Outstanding service. I had a nail in my tire literally just before closing. The front counter gentleman Ross was courteous and without hesitation said "We will get you taken care of Sir" Thank you so much for getting me back on the road. Great job

In the past month, we have encountered tire problems with both of our aging autos. Discount Tire assisted us promptly and at a reasonable price. What's not to like?

Many thanks to Butch (who answered our phone call) and Thomas who was our service advisor. We were out-of-towners and needed a quick tire change due to a tire puncture. Discount Tire never disappoints.

I usually like this place but today was odd. I dropped off the car for a set of tires. They were in stock and didn't take too long at all. When we got the call to come back up the manager read a note on the receipt "handle broken". I got outside and when I opened the door the entire inside handle was broke in half. I have no idea how that would have even happened. The manager did say to bring an estimate, but there was no written agreement to it. It was very odd and super inconvenient to barely be able to get out of my car now after spending over 500.00 in the first place. Now I need to get my car fixed again.

(update)They threw in a free used tire. I bought another set today and they put it on my spare that I have in the trunk because I ended up having to drive over to them due to a pothole flattening one of my tires.This place is outrageous, I can t believe how awesome they are. It s almost hard to believe. More places like this in Tucson in the world in general if I m honest, absolutely astonishing. Absolutely wonderful.Thank goodness for them honouring the current Sentury s partial refund I got two duds for some reason, two of em, and they wore out at 10,000 miles, instead of the 40 they re rated for. Which I found weird cuz the first time I bought a complete set, they lasted me 3 years.Up until today, which is when I am replacing them, but anyways, there s a nightmarish pothole behind Eegees on Speedway/Tucson Blvd. I am planning on updating everyone on NextDoor about it, but it destroyed one of my tires needing me to get in sooner than the 3rd of next month.But they got me in fast despite Good Friday, thank goodness for them doing that for me. Now I am getting another set of Sentury tires with certs and having peace of mind knowing a competent company/crew will be handling my car.Been with this company for years, probably going to continue onward unless they re not in a state I move to.

People gave me excellent customer service and caredabout my safety by inspecting all of my tires. Even though there was a long line for air service they brought out a second guy to help get us all out more quickly. They still did an awesome job to keep me safe while driving.

Dishonest or an ignorant mistake. Took a tire in for a patch. Was told it is un repairable since it was "marred" on the inside. Took my tire back and went to jack furrior they repair it no problem... lost me as a customer for sure glad I took the tire in and not the wife. Predatory sales tactics may have worked on her.....

I'm used to fantastic service at Discount Tire, but my experience at this location was an exception. Stopped in for balance and rotation, which is so simple it should be hard to screw up. Alas, when I got the text that my van was ready, I came out to see the employee moving it accross the parking lot with the parking brake fully engaged. I assume they moved it into the service bay with the parking brake engaged, as well, since the employee explained he couldn't find out how to disengage the parking brake. Why they didn't immediately seek me out is beyond me.Tires were rotated, but air pressure was not changed to match the door card (or at all)) so my 54PSI front, 35 PSI spare and 70 PSI rear tires were all rotated to new locations in what is ultimately unsafe and terrible for tire durability had I not caught it with a TPMS system notification. Thankfully I wasn't in a rush an have an onboard air compressor, otherwise I would've been out of luck.I don't live in the area, so I won't find out if this service was an anomoly or not, but I'd avoid this location in the future, regardless.

Good prices, excellent customer service, solid warranty and easy to book an appointment online. It does get kinda crowded when you want your air pressure checked but, that s the only slight issue with them.

I have used discount tires for many many years and will never go anywhere else. Went there today for a rotation and balance Their staff is professional courteous and friendly. They will give it to you straight not just tell you what they think you need to hear to buy tires. They've got really good deals also not to mention free air checks rotation and balancing. If you're looking for a good HONEST place to buy your tires this is IT. Don't forget to get those certificates free replacement no questions asked. I live by those. Schedule your appointment online it save you hours of wait time

This is my favorite discount tire to go to! They are always friendly and quick! I stopped by to utilize the free air station but quickly discovered something was wrong with one of my tires.They got me in and out pretty quick. Just had a nail in it

Busy place (I d recommend scheduling an appointment), but super friendly, accommodating, and professional staff make this the place to go for your tire needs. We recently had a flat repaired and we were in and out in an hour. We ll be back when we need new tires!

Raul was very kind and helpful. Cannot say the same for the other staff. I came in with a flat that they were able to patch, but by the time it was seen the tire was extremely low on air. I expressed this and asked if it was possible to fill up the tire before driving it into the shop area and they apparently had no means to do so (this both confused and stressed me out). Fortunately, I talked to Raul who carefully got the car into the shop and was able to fix the tire in about 15-20ish minutes. He reasonably recommended new lug nuts for my tires. However, the other staff present were very quick to try to sell me new tires I did not need at the time.

Fast and wonderful customer service. My husband and I have come here a few times and even though we live far away now, we are willing to drive extra to come to this specific Discount Tire becuase it has been so wonderful.

I guess they re not interested in having new customers. Arrived 20 mins before closing to check my tire air pressure and was in line for 15 mins. 5 mins before closing time the guy just closed and didn t say anything. I had to ask if he was closing, he just said yes, my bad .

Started out great! The bay was ready for me upon my arrival and the 4 new Yokohama Tires were installed quickly. The loss of 3 stars is due to my new front passenger tire didn't have a valve cap put on, and I found that the air pressure was left at 73psi, it should have been 36psi. Overinflated tires are at greater risk for a blowout. It's clear that the tire just got missed by whoever was assigned to it during the install.
