Mike over at the shop is an amazing guy. He really knows his stuff and I would definitely keep using his shop. He checked my truck out and gave me the issues right away and showed why its those things. The last guy I used was the biggest waste of money. Mike However gave me the problem with my truck right away. This shop is honest and has amazing quality of work. No other shop will touch my truck except DIESEL 1. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP MIKE.

Integrity, trust worthy...a story worth sharing. I spoke with Mike about replacing a high Pressure fuel pump but was told they were back logged and wouldn't be able to work on my truck for about a month. He suggested if i could furnish the part needed, he would find a way to fit my truck in over the weekend. We shook hands and by the next day the part came in and I took my truck and part to Goldies. Mike and his crew immediately started working on the truck and didn't finish until the end of next day which was their day OFF!! This was all done on a Hand Shake! There are still good people in this world! Thank you Mike, Steve, Chase, and crew for helping me!

Purchased a 08 6.4 not running from a friend of mine. The truck was at a shop in Safford az that said it needed a motor. I ended up purchasing it and brought it to another shop hear in Tucson, they told me the same thing (needed a motor). A friend of mine recommended taking it to goldies and it ended up needing a egr and housing. Went from a 25k motor replacement to just a egr valve. I definitely will take anything diesel related to Mike in the future.

I had another shop do a diagnostic and gave me a 6 grand bill without assurance it would fix my problem I took my truck to Goldies and fix my truck without the same bill/with guarantee and also was given some recommendations and plan on taking back when I can

I was driving through from Washington state and needed an oil change on my 2022 yukon denali 3.0 duramax. I gave them a call and scheduled it. There customer service, and technicians are 5 starts. I definitely recommend them for not just oil change but any service their knowledge of diesel services is top-notch!!!!!

Made online inquiry to have oil changed for my 2015 Ram 3500 on Wednesday. No reply.Called on Friday of the same week, left message wanting to schedule service. Called right back scheduled for Tuesday!Appreciate them following up!Service completed. a plus service! Thank you again.

I just picked up my truck on Friday from Goldies and was very impressed by their communication with me and their work. I own a 2500 dodge mega cab and had an issue with the turbo. After Goldies installed a brand new turbo that they got for me at a great price we received our truck back and within less than 30 miles the check engine light came back on. They immediately had us bring it back to them and made sure to correct the issue. They didn t charge us extra for additional time they took to get it fixed and running properly even though the issue was not their fault. They warranty their work and stand by their word. Eric was very informative and friendly and even called Friday night and this morning to make sure our truck was running properly without any issues. I would highly recommend them as they were referred to me. Thanks again for everything Eric.

The crew here went above and beyond my expectations. Incredibly professional while also able to explain things simply and without being condescending. Also very friendly and reasonable! Instead of throwing parts at my truck to find a fix, they took the time to find the problem and solve it: saving me money! They were able to squeeze me in last minute and get me back out of the door in a timely manner. I would definitely go back for any automotive need and highly recommend the team there !Service: General repairs & maintenance

Everyone here was awesome. They got my 6.0 Excursion in on very short notice for an oil cooler replacement. The price was very reasonable and the work done was top notch. Towed 11k 800 miles the next day no problem and deltas never went over ten. Appreciated the follow up calls, it shows they really do care.

I have been using Goldies Diesel for all of my diesel repairs and have never been disappointed. Mike and the guys down there make it a priority to diagnose the cause of the problem and work forward from there. My coworker and I were in route from San Diego to Texas for work. While driving through Tucson our check engine light came on and we started losing power. After visiting a couple Ford dealerships in the Tucson area, they unfortunately couldn t help us out. After searching for some diesel mechanics we came across Goldies. I forgot to mention we we re driving our San Diego County Sheriffs tow truck Ford F-450 and heading to Texas to pick up a vehicle involved in a death investigation from San Diego. Upon arriving at Goldies I made contact with Mike (owner) and explained our situation. He immediately inspected our tow truck and determined the fuel filters needed to be changed. He wasted no time ordering the parts and had one of his mechanics (Paul) jump right on it and within less than one hour, we were on the road in route to our destination. If it wasn t for the quick work, professionalism and courtesy they displayed towards Law Enforcement who knows if we would ve made it to our destination and back to San Diego the next day. I recommend this shop to anyone in the Tucson area that s looking for an outstanding and honest diesel mechanic. Honesty and integrity are two descriptors.We take our two 7.3's to Goldies... our Son brings his truck down from West Phoenix for service. Mike and Eric are first class people and excellent models for customer service and quality work. It's awesome to have found a shop like Goldies! Professional, honest, and know their diesels! We were traveling through from out of state when our a/c went out in our 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. When we called the shop they were extremely helpful and accommodating from the beginning. They were more than gracious in helping us find lodging and personally give us a ride in the meantime. (we had a 16 month old that needed to be tended to). They told us they would have our truck ready for us by the end of the day, and they most definitely did. Our diesel's a/c works better than ever before! We really could not say more great things about this shop! Having never written a review before, we knew we had to for this shop! Great, great guys and diesel mechanic shop!

Love these guys... Took my 2011 F250 Diesel to the Ford Dealer for a fuel system repair and they quoted me a price of over 9000.00. Goldie's gave me an out the door repair price of 960.00. They are honest, reliable, quick and go all out to please their customers. They just made me a customer for life. Eric your customer service skills are awesome buddy!!

The first time I took my truck there I had them rebuild the steering and they did a good job it took almost two weeks longer then they said it would though.Then I Took my truck in to have them put in an intercooler kit,They said it would take three days. It ended up taking them a couple days short of a month and when I got the truck back the first time they installed it wrong and pushed the power steering line into the pulley so when I got 100 yards away from their shop the power steering high side line blew up leaving the on the side on the side of the road. They did fix that right away. But now I m working on my truck installing some other upgrades and I find the entire front clip which they had removed to install the kit is missing 3/4 of the bolts are not in it! One headlight has broken mounts and they lost one of my intake pieces! when I called them about it they said oh it s around here somewhere we ll call you back. I ve called three times and each time it sounds like it s a surprise to them and they don t know about it now I m out $100 intake piece and a whole bunch of bolts that are missing. I m not very happy about it.

Total rock stars. Great communication skills, the service and the price were very fair. Holmes Tuttle ford wanted a $200 diagnostic fee just to determine the problem. At that point, they will not even apply the $200 towards the bill! New car dealers have been screwing the community for years and I can prove it. If you want great and VERY personal service, I highly recommend Mike, Eric and his entire staff. Real people, real answers and I watched them work on my truck. I am a customer for life and if you are smart you will follow. To the few who left negative reviews, it's a guarantee THEY were the problem. Small business owners have to work way harder to satisfy clients than Holmes Tuttle. Sounds like PC warriors who couldn't be satisfied by anyone. If you want your truck perfect, see Mike and Eric!

I have known Mike for years and have sent countless customers to his shop over the years. I just had my '05 Excursion Powerstroke bulletproofed by his shop and let me tell you she runs better than the day I bought her. My family named our truck "The Lady", Mike knows her well. His shop did all the upgrades on her a few years ago. He and his crew are the only ones I trust to touch her. If I didn't I wouldn't recommend them.

No doubt, these guys are the Best! Today, Mike accommodated for my vehicle to be towed on a Saturday for a no start engine failure. I was professionally greeted by Mike and Chase who were quite informative. Mike felt very confident that he would have my 2002 ford F-450 7.3 diesel up and running by the end of the day without even conducting a diagnostic check upon my arrival. This vehicle is a company truck which was critical for our work week. Their professional work got this truck on the road by the end of the day and with no issues. Their professional skills and awareness helps keep small businesses as myself functional and productive. Thank you so much for your good work and an outstanding job!

Mike and Eric are very well versed in their trade. I have a 2009 Ram3500 4x4 they worked on completing mechanical upgrades. Their work is impeccable and completed in a timely fashion. Both are easy to field questions to and their response time is very good. Highly recommend this group and feel secure with them working on me Cummings.

I have taken both of my Diesel trucks to Goldie's after getting a diagnosis of a bad turbo and a $5K fix, which turned out to be a intercooler hose that cost me $70. These guys have been nothing but honest, fair and very affordable. I don't get the "well you should do this" or it is "recommended you do this", instead I hear things like, "you could replace it, but it's not broken so I would not spend the $$", not to mention how accommodating they are and their willingness to work with my schedule. I read the last review and it was clear to me that we are not getting the whole story. I have heard more people say that the other places quoted 2 to 3 times what Goldie's actually fixed it for and that their work was far superior. These guys are top notch and I would not take my truck anywhere else!

Bought an 03 F250 with the 6.0 and needed an HPOP and Oil Cooler. I priced other shops in town and found Goldies to be the best priced. I worked with Mike Garrick (shop owner) and they did a great job for a fair price! I won't let anyone else will touch my truck now, Even for oil changes.. He even spent time talking to me about my truck and things that may need to be done in the future. A+ experience.

My brother has taken all his vehicles to Goldies for years, personal & company trucks, so when my truck needed service I knew I could trust them. We take all our vehicles to Goldie's now! Great service at an affordable price!

Took my truck there for turbo issues. They said they could repair it... Its just a sensor they said! After $1000 of repair, oh no that wasn't it! Great can you return all the parts that were wrong ($600+) no we can't we threw away the boxes???? So they put in a whole new turbo my expenses were over $10,000 at this point. My truck has not run right since! After taking it to another shop today its going to cost me an additional $3000 to fix all there mistakes! I would never take a truck to this place they have NO clue what they're doing!!!!! Horrible

I brought in my truck for a check engine light. Goldies replaced the EGR valve and the FICM. Everyone was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I really liked being able to see the mechanic working on my truck and being able to talk to him and ask him questions while he was fixing the problem. Thanks Goldies! Great customer service!
