I wanted to share my experience trading in my vehicle and getting into a newer vehicle at Desert Toyota. My salesman was Anthony and boy did he provide me with excellent customer service and was very diligent in his communication with me. He s very approachable, knowledgeable, and eager to please his customers. In this day and age, I appreciated that very much. He got me into a car I absolutely loved! Quincy was the finance manager I worked with. Quincy was very engaging, funny, and just put me at ease with the whole transaction. He explained everything to me and did a great job presenting me with the options I had for warranties. These two guys made me feel welcomed and important and I just wanted to take the time to say thank you and to let the public know what a great experience they gave me in the process of buying my Camry!

We all dread going to a dealership and buying a vehicle. Not anymore, I was floored with the service and NOTHING ever felt salesey about the process. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, never pushy. I walked away with a brand new Tacoma and a new appreciation for the excellent experience I had. I have since recommended Desert Toyota to friends and family and their experience was consistent with mine. It doesn't stop there, they provide outstanding post sale services also. Responsive, proactive, and always professional and friendly. Don't waste your time and just buy your vehicle here!

I have purchased several Toyotas from Desert Toyota since 1995. They have also been servicing my vehicles since 1991.I recently became the proud owner of a 2024 Toyota GR 86. The entire experience was handled in a very friendly and professional manner. While all of their Team did a great job, Sean and Conner went above and beyond what I ever imagined. They exemplified what Customer Service you can expect from Desert Toyota.

Took my parents to get a new car, I was prepared to have a stressful day but with the help of Angel, Cody and Quincy, we managed to get them into a new 2024 Tacoma. After driving a few vehicles and discussing in detail what our needs were they where able to find the perfect car for them and peace of mind for me! We all had a fun day and we really felt like we were around family! Angel and Cody make a great sales team and Quincy was great at explaining all the paperwork in detail and managed to get us out of there in a reasonable time. When the car arrived they delivered it to my parents home and they sent them a delicious variety of cookies. Thanks Toyota! You guys are an exemplary team!

I was a very loyal Toyota customer; thought I would drive Toyotas until I die after having my Prius V for the last 11 years. Had plenty of time to be sure about what I wanted next! Was a supporter of Desert Toyota for years and super happy with their service team, even providing them a pizza party once when they fixed my car! However, Mike N in sales undid all that in a hurry! If you actually enjoy the classic shady car-salesman experience, you might have a different experience here - Not for me:In February I took my beloved Prius V in to trade for a brand new RAV4 Hybrid, pre-approved financing up to 75K, didn't even shop around, knew exactly what I wanted, went straight to Desert Toyota and said "sell me a car." We agreed on a trade in price (VERY first thing we did on Feb 17 since they had it there in the shop already), ordered exactly what we wanted from the factory, paid $1k deposit, got the official price sheet, waited 6 weeks for it to arrive(they barely have any actual inventory), and left my Prius with them. Apr5, we went to sign the paperwork and drive new RAV4 home with my whole family! Excited! As we waited an hour to sign the paperwork, the manager, Mike N. comes in and wants to redo what they had already agreed on in February for trade-in cost to scrape a thousand dollars off me at the last possible minute since they figured I was "all in." Wait - what?!? Im here to spend 50K and you want to make me wait around for an hour while you try to re-figure my trade in price we'd agreed on 6 weeks before? Its been in their possession since this all started, they worked on it, inspected it, know everything there is to know about it....And now you want to change what we already agreed to, at the last minute when I think we're about to sign and leave? At that moment, he tried to cut my trade-in by more than half! I tried to say this was alreadydone and agreed to withamanager in February, but Mike just wanted to debate and argue, didn't listen. I gathered up my family and walked away. Mike N was the most disrespectful unprofessional sales manager I've ever experienced - saying my beloved Prius V is only worth pennies and trying to make a case for why it was ok to cut our agreed on price by more than half - is this a strategy that actually works?!? I can't imagine treating customers like that in my business. I walked away because of the games and disrespect. Completely shady car salesman move. He chased us out to our car and then tried to honor the original agreement from February but no, thanks, you played your cards.Ironically, their service foreperson ended up paying me cash for it since I wasn't trading it in after crossing paths with Mike. So its worth pennies eh? Your service foreperson is going to love it Mike! Good Work! He obviously understood the value there, and saved my Prius V from auction - I am grateful for that. After they called Subaru their "little brother" I guess we'll go spend our 50K there. If thats the way they want to do business and sell cars its not the place for me, and Mike N helped me understand very quickly that it was foolish to be so loyal to Toyota and think they'd take care of me "hassle-free." I was 110% confident that I was buying a Toyota in February from this dealer; Mike and Nick blew it completely nickel and dime-ing me at the last second. I could see that they run this play all the time on people, and I refuse to buy a car from a dealer that plays games like this, after I showed up "all in" on my loyalty and made it clear I wanted to buy a car from them. Buyer beware if you have to interact with Mike N when trying to finalize a sale. They don't care about your loyalty or your time! This is not the way a car dealer should ever do business. Mike showed me they didn't care about me near half as much as I cared about them, and as an excited customer, his move undid years of enthusiastic love for Toyota. If you're reading this, just save your time and go somewhere else.

In my experience at the Toyota dealer for a 10k service, I found it disappointing that nobody approached me to offer assistance when I first entered the service area. The cashiers just looked at me and didn t even ask if I needed assistance . More to come because my estimated wait time is 2.5 hours.Update; Well I'm happy to say that every aspect of my vehicle service went fairly smoothly. The service technician (Lisa) was polite and the shuttle service driver provided safe transportation with a touch of humor. The technician actually sent me a video of the service she completed on my visit. That was surprising because I just never seen that done before.

I made an appointment to get a recall taken care of and when I showed up, a very rude service advisor told me that they weren t going to be able to get to it until afternoon because an appointment is only an appointment to drop off your car. The service manager was not available. The customer service manager couldn t be found. The GM was as away from the desk so there was absolutely no one to answer for this odd service policy. Called Precision and make an actual appointment. I was able to get it all taken care of in a reasonable time. I ll NEVER return to Desert. It s worth the hour long drive to go to Precision where customer service is an actual concept.

Came to get a new fob key. Katrina was super helpful. They got us in and out in little over an hour. If it wasn't for Desert Toyota and their helpful staff, we would have been stuck in AZ for another few days due to the holiday. While waiting for the car to get serviced, we went to go look at the Highlander. Anthony showed up and helped us with any questions we had. He even showed us a few different trims. He was very friendly and not sales pushy like most I've encountered. He was actually the best and seemed very knowledgeable about the Highlanders. Thanks Desert Toyota for a great experience.

Dreaded dealing with dealerships but not anymore! Wesley Van Stenus really outdid himself from start to finish. We were staying overseas and contacted about a car we were interested in and he got back to us so quick! The process was easy and smooth and they lent us a free rental until our car finally came in. Awesome job here! & got a gift from them a week later such caring people! When you stop here make sure to ask for Wesley! He ll work with you from start to finish to ensure you re being taken care of!

Had my first routine service appointment last week after buying a new Toyota from a Phoenix dealership in the fall. Service at Desert Toyota was fast and my service provider Mark Morrison was friendly and helpful. I mentioned a few minor concerns I had and was booked in for the next week to get them checked out. My car was washed both times prior to pick up which was an appreciated and unexpected touch.

It can be difficult "letting go" of an old friend, but sometimes change is necessary. After having my RAV4 serviced, I decided to go over to the sales department and speak to a sales associate. Who I found was an absolute rockstar - Luis Lopez! He understood my financial preference of maintaining a reasonable car payment and showed me vehicles that I may enjoy and, above all, afford. He went above and beyond, turning a sad situation into a positive experience. He answered all of my questions and found a vehicle that was a perfect match - and look a few pictures along the way! He was very professional, knowledgeable, and kind.Once I found my car and crunched through all the numbers, I was off to the finance department. Admittedly, I was worried my promised monthly payment would change, however I was pleasantly surprised. After meeting with Quincy, not only did he search through numerous financial institutions to secure the best rate, he was very personable and friendly. By the time I signed my contract, I walked away with an awesome vehicle at a price I could afford. And frankly, isn't that how car shopping is supposed to be?If you find yourself needing to "upgrade" your vehicle, look no further than Desert Toyota - they will treat you well!

Went in for a potential warranty issue although we did not buy our vehicle from Desert Toyota. Turns out it wasn't covered under warranty but we had the service work completed as well as an oil change and tire rotations. Had to take our vehicle back 2 days later due to oil dripping. For the amount that was charged for that service I would think they would do it right the first time.

Used car trade in experience it s all false. Whatever you are promised by the sales team miraculously disappears once you are transported to finance. There isn t one thing sales promised me that ended up being validated in finance. Value of my trade in dropped by over $1000, the included warranty on the new car was NOT included in fact they added $3500bucks and $200 deductible, monthly payments did NOT get better once I was in finance and I m paying this thing off for 7 years. Make sure you eat a good meal, stand your ground and don t be afraid to just leave!! Because they will wear you out all while promising the world.

As an update: After posting the review below, I was contacted by the New Car Sales Manager, Mr. Perez, who assured me that this is not how Desert Toyota strives to do business. He wanted to talk about "making it right". I appreciated him validating that the way I was treated wasn't optimal. Lesson learned, don't be afraid to go full Karen and ask to speak to a manager.I'm changing my review from one star to three stars. I'm still not happy that they didn't "make it right" on the day of the purchase, but pleased that they are willing to, after the fact.Over a month has passed since I purchased my car at Desert Toyota, and though I am happy with the car, I am still simmering over the way James, the Floor Manager, treated me. The thing that pisses me off the most, is that I knew what kind of dirty car-salesmen games to expect, but I fell into their trap anyway. Here is an enumeration of their dirty tactics.Dirty tactic number one: They get you to focus on the monthly payment, so you don t notice that they ve raised the price they quoted. Then, they have you sign that sheet, so they ve got your signed agreement to a new price. A price you didn t notice because they were directing your attention to the payment options.Dirty tactic number two: They keep you waiting forever to get through the financing portion of the deal, so that when you discover the asking price went up by $1000, you are too tired and too in need of the car, to walk away. Even though I came in preapproved from my CU, I was with the finance guy for over three hours.Dirty tactic number three: They tell you they are sorry that the repurposing fee of $1000 wasn t disclosed as part of the asking price, but that it is a mandatory fee and cannot come off, besides, you signed the paper. But they really do apologize, *solemn face*.Dirty tactic number four: About a week after the purchase, I get a text message from the sales manager James, with a video of him introducing himself, saying thanks for stopping in and feel free to call me with any questions. I didn t appreciate seeing the face of the guy I consider a shark. But what really aggravated me was that it was a message for a prospective client rather than for someone who just made a purchase. I guess the extra commission he got for tacking on $1000 dollars to the sale price is small beans and forgettable.

After Shopping for a New 2024 Rav4 Hybrid I found I saved approximately $3,000.00 shopping and PURCHASING in Phoenix as opposed to Desert Toyota. A manager said "You would really drive to Phoenix to save a few dollars", Heck YES!!!He offered to HONOR selling me the vehicle at MSRP....HAHAWhat, your kidding right!Purchased $2,000 under MSRP, No CRAZY priced adds by dealer, However I received the CLEARBRA, door handles, door edge and mirrors and Window tint for $500. Doc fees $499...No Trade.Hahaha, salespeople have NO knowledge of the vehicles that they sell. Also stated when the vehicles come from Japan they have a SPECIAL coating put on the vehicles at Long Beach port. HELLO Tacomas come from Texas or Mexico, other vehicles come from Canada or the USA. Dumb! Have no knowledge on service requirements of what they are selling.UNBELIEVABLE, repeat UNBELIEVABLE!So much padding on the sticker price .Which the Rep said was in stone.Requested to talk with a Manager as the person had NO decision ability, they have many Asst Managers whose only purpose is to wear the customer down. All talk no juice.Waste of time!Off to Phoenix to purchase my vehicle! Now I know why my neighbors said don t waste your time, drive up to Phoenix and save at minimum $1000 ++.Definitely worth the 90 mile drive.BONUS, BONUS! you can shop on Sunday!

Buying a car as a single female can be challenging. Luis was very personable, not pushy and did not talk down to me like I did not know anything about cars. I made my purchase late as they were closing and left my garage door opener in my traded car and he offered stay so I could pick it up. I was tired and we scheduled for the next day where he took the time to show me the electronic features of my Rav 4 Prime and did not rush because the sale was done. Eli the finance guy was also very thorough and friendly in explaining everything. I also have to say the customer service that I received from everyone there was top notch with politeness.

Reanna was knowledgeable and helpful, made the experience well worth it. We ordered a vehicle, so we had to wait awhile for it to arrive but Reanna did an excellent job of following up without having to be prompted. The tech on new cars is incredible, and Reanna made sure we were all squared away before we left (see picture showing my wife how to use it). Mike in coverages did a great job explaining all of the service packages and wasn't pushy...made sure we picked coverages that made sense for our family.

Joseph Hodge car sales person Very professional, very educated in the cars that he showed me. Listenened to my wants in looking for a car. Went way and beyond in helping me select a used car that I was very happy with, very knowledgeable. Made sure me and my sister were comfortable offered water. So impressed with the whole atmosphere of the company that I would recommend this car dealer to any of my friends and family. By the time I left everybody new me by my name. I felt literally like I was family. Great job Joseph. From Angela who purchased the RAV4. Say hi to everybody.

Desert Toyota went above and beyond our expectations. Communication between Kindra P., Jaime S. and James was seamless. Customer satisfaction is definitely their top priority, looking forward to making our next purchase from Desert Toyota (worth the drive from Las Cruces, NM).

Some clown that works here came by my house ringing my bell, despite the sign on the door that says DO NOT KNOCK ON DOOR OR RING BELL. What's he want? Asking if that is my car out front, and talking to me about the paint (there's some slight discoloration on one part of the car) and how he works here and can get it taken care of for a good price. What an absolute tard. If this is how these people go about running their business, no thank you. If not, they should talk to their employees. Annoying as hell.

David Melkumov is the guy who you want to work with. David spent generous amounts of time with us and educated us about all the cars. Polite, knowledgeable, straightforward, and not rude or pushy. He did absolutely everything to accommodate us. I guess the timing wasn t right for us so ended up not buying a car but he did not make us feel guilty or none of that. If we decide to buy in the future, we will definitely buy from him - 100%.

Shout-out to Salesman Mike Ezrre for his assistance when I purchased my used Highlander in 2020, and with my Mom's purchase of her new 2021 Rav4. He was polite, informative, AND very patient with us while we were deciding on features, looked at their inventory, and test-drove a few vehicles before making our purchases.Since then, Mike has called us about every 5-6 months to make sure our vehicles are still performing up-to-par and that we remain happy with our purchases.. we are!!Additionally, Mom and I really appreciate the personal attention we always receive from our favorite Service Advisor, Erin Dean! (I've been a 'customer' of Erin's for 20 years!)Lastly, we greatly appreciate the Shuttle Service and the friendly drivers who provide door-to-door rides when our vehicles are in for service or repairs.Thank you, Desert Toyota!

Terry is the best service manager in town! He knows his stuff and is happy to guide you in making the best decisions in order to properly maintain your vehicle. After years of going to a competitor, I am sold on going to Desert Toyota for the servicing of my 4-runner. It s a bit further for me, but well worth the drive. Thank you for a great experience.

Needed a car after my last vehicle was stolen. I hate dealing with salesman always so pushy and linger around you. Happened to come to desert Toyota by chance. Was happy I did. Spoke to Atticus very chill and knowledgeable guy. Doesn't linger around or push you to buy anything. He listened to what I wanted and didn't try to up my down payment or move the needle on my preferred monthly payments. I got the vehicle I wanted and was a smooth process all around. Definitely check them out first and ask for Atticus .

Went for an oil change, 1st time going there. I generally wouldn't go to a dealer for that, but my truck is pretty new, so... I was helped by Lisa (1st day on the job) and I want to say a gentleman named Todd (I could be wrong), they were both super helpful, pleasant and efficient. Definitely not your pushy, fast talking service staff. To top it all off I found out my truck only needs an oil change every 10k miles. So yeah get a Toyota, I have another, with almost 300k miles, still running strong. Annnnd if their sales staff is anything like these guys, get it at Desert Toyota.

Katrina helped me so much by getting my key fob programmed on the same day. I had no spare key and I was trying to get back to California the same day. As soon as I got there she helped sign me in quickly for service. I was out of there within an hour and a half. While we waited, Andrew was kind enough to show us some vehicles we've been looking at online. Everyone here was very friendly. I highly recommend this place for service or purchasing.
