I've bought my 2015 dodge dart on 2015 and drove it for 6 yearsbefore needing new brakes. So I take my rio brake masters in 2021 they replaced my front and back brakes and rotors for nearly $800 dollars. It's currently 2023 today is Tuesday November 14th. My brakes have been making really bad screeching noises. I'm thinking they can't be going bad already? Mind you I had my daughter back in May of 2022 so I haven't been driving crazy. On top of that ever since they replaced my brakes they never stopped making noise. I was constantly waiting for them to stop. Right up until they were grinded down metal to metal which apparently voids the lifetime warrant. These people are a scam. Never going back.

This is the worst customer service based company I have ever had to deal with. I would highly recommend using any other company for you vehicle service repairs. The level of professionalism at its all time low with brake masters. Use a company who care about your safety & not the dollar

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR AT BRAKE MASTER! THEIR COMPANY NAME LITERALLY IS SELF EXPLANITORY! THEY BRAKE CARS AND THEY ARE THE MASTER OF IT! I took my car in to store #232 off of Bernalillo, New Mexico for brake fluid exchange and differential fluid back in September 2023 and they ruined my car. BIG TIME!After 20 miles of driving the car from the service they did, I had to tow my car back to them when my car broke down on the interstate. They said they didnt see anything wrong and took it to Subaru Fiesta (which is weird because if they know what they are doing, they should figure out themselves what is wrong with it). Subaru Fiesta stated that the differential fluid that they did on my vehicle caused the transmission to fail. Brake Master did their "Lab Tests" on the oil that they had put on my car and said that it came back positive and that the oil was the correct one - but who knows if it was really the right oil that they had sent to the lab was from my vehicle when clearly, they had the car for a couple of days already (anything could happen on those days).Funny part is, store manager, Adrian, stated that they test driven the vehicle after the service when I saw it on my own eyes that they just parked the car outside right after the service. I did not lose sight of my car after they serviced it. I dont know what else they can lie about.Such a hassle because plans I had for that weekend and couple of weeks after, I had to cancel it. Ive been very patient with them by not being bothered that they dont call me to give me update about my car so whenver I want an update, I ALWAYS ALWAYS have to call them. They would always say they would call me back but they never did except when they want to return the car to me is when they constantly would call me.Brake master towed my vehicle to my house and now, after a month and a half, I have to figure out how to get $11,000 because of the problem they caused with my transmission and they do not want to take any responsibilities that they did! I do not know what type of company that does not take care of their customer. Hopefully lawyers can help me out regarding this problem! This was the last thing I wanted to do but because of this result, I dont want this to happen to anyone.RED FLAGS:*The person that took my car in was wearing basketball shorts and tshirt like he just got out of bed and went to work*When they were servicing my car, I got there earlier and I could tell they spilled something on the floor and took them 5-10 minutes to clean it up. The guy that was fixing my car, backed up my car and even try cleaning up something with the hose under the hood (Sketchy right?)*Manager stated that they do test drive, when clearly, I was there and they did not do any test drive after the service*They dont call you when the car is done - I was sitting in their lobby for about 15-20 minutes waiting for them to call me but nothing, so I had to come up to them and ask for my car.*Even when I took the car back to them, still no update unless I call them back

I do not understand how Timothy is the customer service manager. He lacks basic knowledge on how to handle simple situation. He does not even know the basics of customer service, and how to handle situations with tact and awareness. I had asked to speak to someone above Timothy, because he refused to allow me to speak, and just kept speaking over me and giving me false justifications about why my car was not fixed properly. He told me he is the highest level and there is no one above him. That to me is shocking since he is so terrible at customer service. All he did was argue with me, and did not listen to me and continuously spoke over me. He treated me like a child when he was the one acting like a child. I had to take control of our conversation and remind him it s not polite to talk over someone while they are speaking. After waiting weeks for him to issue me my refund, I had to do a chargeback with my bank to get my money back.

I will continue to post my reviews until I get a full refund I took my jeep in for back brake pads at the Dobson Rd., Chandler Boulevard location ..Ryan told me I needed rotors and brake pads for my front and back brakes And some other part that has nothing to do with my brakes I don t know about cars I have to trust what people are telling me is the truth I told him I was only expecting to pay 600 for my back brakes. He wanted to quote me almost 1800 I asked them if they had in-house financing he sent me the link for easy pay which qualified me for 600 so he said I can do it as long as the $600 is in cash He was adamant he asked again you re not gonna run a debit card or credit card right it s going to be cash I said yes .. he said OK I can do it I drove off.after he supposedly fixed it ..Things seemed OK The next day it all started.. this loud flappy noise so I took her back down there and he drove it with me and said ..you know it s just noise.. it s an old Jeep.. yeah but it wasn t making this noise before I brought it into you.. once again, I took him on his word.. and each day it got louder and louder until the last day I drove it and I put on my break, and my jeep slid to the right that s when I realized I had been taken So I filed a complaint. I received a phone call from John who states he s the manager Seemed like a nice guy wanted me to bring it in today, so I went out to find the receipt only to find out that Ryan didn t give me a true receipt he gave me the paperwork. For easy pay, and the quote receipt. No proof of the $600 I paid in cash and no print out of the work done I called the shop a female answered did not want to transfer me to John. She wanted to know what I wanted. Then she transfers me and I get Ryan I said I want to talk to John, Ryan says , I can still take care of you.. again I ask I want to talk to John honestly I m not even sure if John is the manager or not.. I advised John that after finding that receipt I don t want anything to do with this business I want a full refund ..his response was I can t make you come down here. I will see what I can do I will wait and see if I get a refund if I don t, I will take it to corporate. Because I m thinking if they did this to me how many other women have they done this to?! I have to work from home now because my jeep no longer works. I m afraid to drive it and when I do go somewhere, I have to take a Lyft or get a ride..no one she dish out $1200 for nothing!Service: Auto brake repair

I recently ran into an issue at one of the Brake Masters shops, but the Area Manager Adam truly went above and beyond! Not only did he listen attentively to my problem, but he also took the time to come up with a creative solution that solved everything!! I'm so impressed by Adam's dedication to his customers and his willingness to think outside the box to help! If you're looking for a friendly, helpful repair shop that is backed by a manager who truly cares about his customer look no further than Adam and Brake Masters!

Brake masters damaged my car and refuses to pay for it and almost caused a fire in my engine compartment.Despite these very serious issues, they won t refund me a measly $128 for the service I brought my car in for and in the process they have lost a customer for life. I pray for the poor soul that has to endure a liability claim with this horrid company.

My son took his truck in for a check up on 5/23/22. They told him he needed a new engine among other things. Total bill $10,200 and some change. This was for a recycle salvage yard engine. The price for engine alone was $4800 standard OEM Spark plugs $21.95 each auto zone price under $3.00 each .They hold my son engine and truck would be done on 5/28/22 excuse after excuse his truck is still not done as of 6/11/22. I have had words with them and there shady business practices.To be straight I called them rip off central. There are four shops in the valley that will instal a remanufactured engine complete for $3800 with 2 or 3 warranty.They are telling my son they need a valve cover and can t get it for ten to fourteen days.Funny thing yesterday they told me they could get it today delivered from Tucson . Jim click ford in Tucson has it in stock. This is the shadiest over priced business i have ever seen. Please save yourself the hassle and protect your car don t walk from this place run.If I could give negative Five Stars I would.I will account for every word I say and I m advising my son to contact the BBB & A Consumer protection Agency to report this business.This is the way their Casa Grande store is run SMH

Hello I got my brakes changed at this store which I always go to them and I have gave them my business for sometime. My brakes were changed in December and my incident happen January 24th. It took them 4 hours to change my brakes.... Which is not normal at all.. I asked the manager if there was a problem because I seen a young lady working on my truck but she kept stopping and going and asking questions and getting other people's help or advice .. so needless to say 4 hours later I was told my truck was ready.. as soon as I left I could hear a noise that I have never heard before when I would brake... I was told it was probably just a loose brake clip and nothing to worry about. Also told sometimes the aftermarket brake pads don't fit perfect like the Ford stock brake pads. On January 24th I'm driving down the freeway and my brakes snap. I could not stop the vehicle and I was going 75 miles an hour... This put my life in danger and I also put other people's lives in danger. I had to take an exit and do my best to coast to a stop in a neighborhood I had to run through a red light and honk my horn. I paid $340 dollars for the truck to get towed to the garage where I could have it looked at. I was told by the mechanic there that both of my calipers where broken and brake masters reinstalled them this way and sent me on my way out of the shop. It cost me $580 to get the truck fixed. This is unacceptable. I have given you guys my business for sometime now with multiple vehicles. I will never come to you again.

Worst service ever! I've been going to the Apache Junction Store#167 and last weekend dropped my car off to have brakes done and I should have only paid $179 or $200 at the most. They charged me $890!! There are charges on my receipt that I know they did not need to do like a brake line flush! They didn't replace my master or slave cylander so that was a $53 unnecessary charge not to mention they put ceramic pads on my car & sold me rotors that I didn't need and they never asked me if I wanted the expensive pads they just put them on my car! I had my oil changed in September & my car has never had an oil leak but it does now! I said something to the mgr and he avoided the question! They also put a new battery post on my battery & charged me $54.60 then when my cable melted & I had to get my car towed 50 miles to them the mgr said it's not their fault my cable melted, he doesn't know what happened to my car when I left (less than 24 hrs earlier). I told him they just replaced my cable 2weeks ago and they are fixing it, then he said it would cost me $117 for each post to be replaced! I said I'm not paying that when it's your company's fault & hung up. Then he calls me back saying I was right they did replace it and they will do it for free & my car would be ready at 1pm. I get my car & requested a printout of with they did w/the amount they would have charged me, I get a receipt for -$34.00! They only did one post and wrapped the wires in electrical tape! So I called to ask why I was charged $58 last time and they replaced it with a cheaper part & they hung up on me! Been calling corporate but they never call back so now I'm reporting them to the BBB!
