Very friendly person greeted us. They checked our brake noise immediately. Gave some options on what they could do. We selected our preferred option which had a very reasonable price. They went to work on it immediately. We picked our truck up a couple of hours later. Highly recommend this store on Ina Rd in Tucson.Service: Brake service & repairService: Brake service & repair

They got me in right away to do an oil change without an appointment and they were kind, fast, and professional. All the good things. I will definitely use them again for maintenance and such on my truck.

I will never use BRAKE MASTERS #159 to work on my cars, not even for a FREE oil change.Either they're scammers of they don't know what they're doing.*You better try a different place before using this company.*I was quoted almost $600 for front brakes that ended up needing only pads.They said that the rotors could not be resurfaced (rotors were brand new) then they said that one caliper was not working, that was another lie, the calipers were fine.A mechanic from a different company verified and determined that the evaluation by BRAKE MASTER was ALL wrong.Go get a second opinion or just don't use BRAKE MASTERS #159 at all. They should change their motto to"A DISHONEST BRAKE "I CAN POST OR FAX A COPY OF THE QUOTE.Also, BRAKE MASTER #109 used to be a good repair shop until Adam (the manager) left.

Well I guess making an appointment days before doesn't mean anything, they will still take you in an hour and a half later, what's the purpose of an appointment if they can't honor it. Especially since waiting there and seeing two other customers walking in and being served with no appointment before me. I understand they had just an oil change and mine was a brake job but still..Of course missed picking up my son from school because they didn't have it ready at the time promised, and since before leaving I checked the emergency brake to see if it works,(previous bad experience), and it didn't so they had to take it back in to readjust that. I know business are suffering with good reliable labor but their problem not the customer. There are several other brake shop to try next time.Service: Brake service & repair

My two last oil changes have been horrible here, will not be returning again. The first time my oil was overfilled by quite a considerable amount, had to return to get it drained to the correct amount. I got a second oil change recently and the oil level is below the top spot, it was about 60% full. Quality control is atrocious at this location, two different visits and oil has been over and under filled. Would avoid this location in absolutely every scenario.Service: Oil change

I'm not one to write reviews but when I recognize talent and service I want to make sure I let everyone know. I've never been to a automotive place before where the technician took the time to explain every detail that was wrong with my vehicle. Romeo did that for me and I sincerely appreciate that. I recommend this facility to whomever needs an honest person to work on their vehicles. Oh and price wasn't bad at all. Thanks Romeo and his team! Keep up the great work guys!

I had a 2 and a half year battery I bought last year . The battery went out I took it back to brake masters. They took a look at the battery. I exchanged with no problem. I still had a year and a half left from the other battery.. they were nice professional had the battery done in no time.

They used impact wrench to tighten oil filter on 2016 RAV4 broke my filter wrench at 40 lb ft of torque then I used a huge Crescent wrench on my filter wrench with a 4 lb hammer and still wouldn't budge so I called Brake Masters and they told me it is not even possible for them to do that....what a load of B.S. if I could give negative stars I would

On 6/13/2019 I paid $1,596.15 on repair ticket # 86266 employee #2744 to have the air conditioning system in my 2010 Hinda CRV replaced. Two weeks later, the vehicle was back in the store for inconsistent cooling. The shop stated that they topped it off with freon. A ticket was not issued for that service.On Saturday 7/6 while driving the car I experienced another mishap. While pulling into a parking spot, I turned off the engine to a loud popping sound and the release of a large cloud of dark colored steam from under the hood.This failure was diagnosed as a gasket that failed. The shop performed that repair under ticket #86630.Moving forward, the vehicle never really seemed to fully cool.I took it to a different shop for an analysis. They stated that it was overfilled with freon. They also diagnosed that the Schrader valves needed to be replaced. That service cost $75.Fast forward to 9/3, the unit is once again not consistently cooling the vehicle. At this time, I called the Brake Masters corporate office to speak to their Customer Service Manager Timothy Harphant. I was only able to leave a message, that line is not actively staffed. After leaving a message, I rang back to the operator and asked for Harphants email such that I may forward to him the invoices as referenced above. Dorothy their operator stated that they have hundreds of employees and did not know the email of Mr Harphant.On 9/4, Mr. Harphant contacted me based on the message that I left. Part of his response was that "it's a 10 year old car". Well, that being the case, they might consider modifying the marketing materials to reflect that they would really prefer to work on cars 2011 and newer. He did invite me to return the vehicle for yet another inspection. I advised Mr Harphant that I would get back to him. I stated that I had no confidence in them doing anything further with the vehicle. I have since turned this case over to the Better Business Burueau. I think Brake Masters has lost their way. They have an inefficient unskilled and largely impolite staff at the Ina Thornydale location. Use caution if you need this location

They saved my weekend. After my wheels started grinding they seen me the next day to squeeze me in since I didn t have an appointment and had my brakes done in about 4-5 hours. Brakes work great.

I've used the Brake Masters on Ina near Thornydale for oil changes, AC recharge, and brake work for many years and have always been pleased. Even when I didn't take their advice about an engine problem, it later turned out everything they said was correct. The prices are reasonable and the staff is helpful. I frequently recommend this place to my friends.Service: Air conditioning

I just put 4 brand new tires on our Tahoe with Discount Tire who suggested to get it aligned at Brake Masters. Worst suggestion! I have always been leery of these chains as they are always over priced and not very trustworthy. However, the truck needed an alignment. I was told the alignment would take an hour. I sat in the lobby for an hour and then was told that the truck needed ball joints which would cost over $2,000! They also mentioned the water tank was leaking. So a total bill would be over $3,000 with the alignment. They said that the ball joints really needed to be replaced before they would do an alignment.So there I sat for an hour and then they tell me that they haven t even done the alignment and that it would take at least 4 hrs and I would have to come back . and it would only cost me thousands of dollars!I became irritated and told them I wanted a second opinion and went up to BrakeMax and also contacted our mechanic who has been working on the Tahoe for years that is trustworthy. Well, you guess it!! The ball joints were in perfect condition! Brake Masters where at least truthful about the leaky water tank.Beware! When bringing your car to get serviced here! I definitely do not trust having my Tahoe serviced here.

Went in for an oil change, didn t have an appointment but they were able to fit me in. Great customer service, such nice people! Scammers!!! I brought my car in for alignment and ended up with over $4k in estimated repairs needed urgently before alignment could be done, per them. I took the car to the dealer for second opinion and they said everything is in great shape, allignment was done by the dealer w/o any issues. Never again will I go to this Break Masters

The manager was very pleasant . He had the checked the brakes for free and explained what needed to be done. I enquired about financing he helped me set that up with Synchronicity. I was approved. I have trusted these guys for the maintenance of my vehicle for over 20 years. My car still runs great!! My car started to make a grinding noise and Break Masters diagnosed the broken, gave me an estimate and fixed everything by 4 the same day. Everyone was so nice, especially Theresa in the front. My truck took longer to change my front brake pads than quoted but the service team more than made up for the inconvenience and did a great job! I would say, that if you know you have heavy duty brake pads, let them know because their system did not know my 19 chevy Silverado 1500 did. Overall, would 100 percent recommend this location off of Ina simply superior service compared to other locations.Service: Brake service & repair

Mike was prompt and worked quickly to get my exact appt. Gave me a discount when I couldn t afford full price. Had front and back brakes replaced. He said it would take 90 mins at most and it was less than that as I had to wait for repair. Kind and friendly. Coffee was great, too!Service: Brake service & repairService: Brake service & repair

For numerous years this is the location I ve taken my vehicle to. I moved to a different part of town but drove the distance to have my vehicle serviced because I m comfortable here. They never try to rip me off. The manager Leo was busy multitasking but was still very professional & patient. He was able to squeeze me in & I really appreciate it. I called to set an appointment, after my Check Engine light came on and had the number diagnosed at my local auto parts shop.After less than 2 minutes on the phone, the short hairs on my neck were standing tall and my Spidey sense was telling me I was being set up for a rip off. I was quoted $110 just to confirm that was the problem - I tried to reason with her but all she could do is tell me about a million things that could possibly be wrong - all related to the part in question.Sorry, but I got nothing but a bad vibe and will not be giving this shop my business, in spite of the fact that my Tire shop recommended them to me.Buyer Beware
