I would highly suggest never taking your vehicle here or to any brake masters. I originally came in the summer of last year to replace the engine mounts in the vehicle. They wanted to charge an additional $300 diagnostic fee on top of the $100 one. The issue with that was you can clearly see the engine mounts by opening the hood, there was no reason to get a tech to look inside the engine. After the repairs were done which took almost a week, I picked up the car and drove it home. After a few hours of the car sitting, I turned the car on and heard an extremely loud grinding sound. I took the car back and was informed that the passenger side engine mount had collapsed. They replaced it and I asked if the mounts they were putting in were OEM and not salvage or aftermarket parts. They confirmed that it was. I drove the car home again. After a few weeks the same issue occurred. I brought the car back, and got it back 3 days later. After a month the same issue happened once again and rather than returning, I took the vehicle to another shop where they informed me that they were using cheap aftermarket parts. They also informed me that brake masters ruined one of the bolts on the passenger side engine mount. I had the driver side replaced and went to brake masters to request a refund for that mount plus the labor for it at least and they dragged their feet for two weeks until I reached out to find out if a refund was possible. They refused to refund me because I took it to another shop to fix the issue.If you care about your vehicle and want reliable service, I would highly suggest going anywhere else than brake masters because they lack professionalism and experience

I have been trusting the work of Octavio "Alonso" Hoyos (now the manager) for the last 16 years. He is very knowledgeable and always makes sure that the employees under his management do always the right thing and provide fair and good pricing. I live up in Vail, AZ and I still travel all the way to his store #102 at Campbell/Broadway to perform checks, brakes and oil changes to my Toyota Tundra where everything is being handled better than the local dealer. My immediate family do the same there too and I always recommend him with my co-workers at Raytheon, relative & friends. Muchas gracias my friend Octavio!

Today I took my vehicle to store #102 on Broadway & Campbell. Went dreading the worse. I ran in to the most friendly and professional staff, from clerk to management. The store and bathroom were immaculate. The work done to my vehicle was not only in my mind the best 230 bucks I ve ever spent. It runs perfect once again and it was done in a timely manner. Highly recommend this store. ;)

Everything was great , friendly staff and front desk, I would suggest two things one is choice of oil was mentioned to me (synthetic or synthetic plus) but not the conventional which is what I had a coupon for so my total was more than I anticipated . Two if you do tire rotation then ask everyone don t say it is only upon request (I asked if they did it and was told it s only upon request and the car was already off the jack so when she asked me if I still wanted it I said no as I didn t want them to put up the car again and be a headache to the workers) . It s a service you are giving to please and build customer base so don t make it a secret password just offer it. Either they need it or they don t other than that thank you

Had my brakes go out in my work truck and pulled into the first place I saw. They were very helpful, offered to start even though I pulled in close to closing time. They got it in, held it overnight and replaced both front and rear brakes for me. Very good communication and came through in a pinch.

Had a battery issue and replacement is a bit complicated with the technology in new cars. Was headed out of town and called original car dealership for replacement. Dealership wouldn t accommodate need to replace quickly. Called Brake Masters on Broadway and Campbell. Daniel got us in immediately and had us back on the road within an hour. Because of him we met the people we were scheduled to travel with. He was outstanding. Highly recommend this business!!Service: Auto battery replacement

They were fast, friendly, and didn't overcharge or try to upsell me. I bought brakes from the store I worked at before I quit, and only dropped it off to get the pads done. They did just that, took not even an hour. They also called while I was at home and asked if I wanted the rotors turned, since they were still squeaking during the test drive. I said sure, and it turned out to be included with the brake change, which was pretty neat. I'd definitely go back :)

Dropped my car off and told them that my turbo charge needs to be replaced. They charged me $120 to give my car back 20 minutes later and said the problem is your turbo charge . Crazy good mechanics these guys wanted $596 to replace a part that I had them confirm cost was only $30 for the part. Scammers.

Great service. I was kept informed of what was going on and the repairs to my car. Alonso and his crew were great!!!Front desk gal was awesome as well she was very polite. I would recommend this Brake Masters to everyone.

Jose and his crew are crooked. My vehicle was returned needing MORE work after I picked it up. Go figure! My vehicle NEVER made the sounds of metal to metal jingling noises after I picked it up. He proceeded to tell its on the document. I NEVER reported a metal to metal jingling noise. I requested an oil change. I'm the only person who drives this vehicle. STAY AWAY. BUYER BEWARE!

Everyone was very kind. I was there for 4hrs in the lobby and I experienced the Manager going out of his way to help customers and even not charging them if he was not able to service their vehicles.

This place was recommended to me by a co-worker and I am very grateful for the recommendation. I had just started a new job and bought a commuter car that had terrible brakes. .I went to Brake Masters and they were very helpful, they came up with a plan to help me get the brakes done in sections and still be safe on the road. Their prices were better than all of the other places that I spoke to about the brakes.The staff was friendly and professional and the seats are crazy comfortable.I would definitely recommend them to others.

Always great customer service! We went in 9/9/23 in the am for an oil change - the man inside at the counter was very kind, friendly, and helpful. The service itself was fast too. I love that I place a same-day appointment. Excellent customer service and almost always takes less than an hour to change my oil. Would go back to any location. The wonderful men in the office are very helpful.

Brake light is on . Took it in and guy to put it on the hand held thing that plugs into area under dash. Well he says all is ok but they'll have to do a diagnostic on it. $100 well before I left I asked how did you do your test if the light is on and he replied the lights no longer on. Ok I get in turn ignition and as always the light is on still. Anyhow I think it's a loose wire.

Overall, I highly recommend the Broadway/Kino location for all your car maintenance, over all the other car services in Tucson! And I have been to the majority of them throughout the years. I recommend this place to everyone! From start to finish it was nothing but fantastic! I needed my car done by 11am, they had it done by 1030am. Instead of paying $100 for a full synthetic oil change like at most other places, we paid $67 after tax! I received a loyalty card and with that card you get your 5th oil change for free! Specifically as for Daniel as your advisor... He is amazing!!Service: Oil change

I have been a fan of BrakeMasters at the Oro Valley shop since moving to Tucson eight years ago. Always great work. But, I moved to another area in Tucson and called them to ask if I should continue making the trek to their shop or if they'd recommend a place nearer to my new home. I was referred to BrakeMasters at Broadway and Campbell, and they took great care of my car with a wheel alignment and an oil change. Tried to sell me a $1700 master cylinder replacement. Tried to replace another part that my car DOESN'T Have. Another shop said it works fine but just needed the brake fluid replaced and a power steering flush. Saved $1300 by taking my car elsewhere.
