Had some warning lights on my 2004 Ford Explorer and issues with the transmission engagement. Eddie was very generous with his time explaining to me in advance, the best case / worst case scenarios. His prices were competitive. I moved forward with his recommended service for a Solenoid Pack Replacement and the car has been driving very well since. Eddie also followed up with me post service to make sure things were good and offered to take a look at the car in the coming weeks free of charge to make sure everything looked A-OK. I was impressed with that. I am a happy and satisfied customer and would recommend Aztec Transmissions to anyone needing a trusted Transmission Shop in the area.

Eddie is a great transmission mechanic, fair and honest. For all you Chevy guys 80 s models and older are out of luck. Eddie refused to rebuild my 700R due to lack of parts and no desire to work on them anymore. Very sad customer service.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

We took our Volvo to Eddie at Aztec Transmission for our rebuild. We're so happy we did ! They're fantastic there. We worked with both Eddie and Ronnie, they were so helpful and explained everything. is really hard to find honest shops nowadays. I'm happy to say I've found one of the few left!!service was friendly and sincere, fair prices and they won't promise something they can't achieve, gave me a time frame and was done by then.. overall very happy with the result.

I had my transmission rebuilt at another shop less then a year ago. I had issues with leaks and other I parts and decided to go to AZTEC TRANSMISSION. I wish I had gone to Eddie (owner) and Ronnie sooner. These guys are the real deal, good guys and honest!!! Which is what makes a great shop!! Come by if you need help with your transmission....

I ordered a used transmission from an online transmission dealer, had it delivered to Aztec, then had the guys at Aztec install it. I'm extremely happy with my experience at Aztec Transmission Services. I had called many other mechanics and transmission service centers around Tucson prior to install, but Aztec beat them all in price , mechanical service, and customer service. Aztec also beat all others in price and they had my truck ready the same day I brought it in. They also checked the newer transmission for wear prior to install. I'm very happy with Aztec Transmission Services, I recommend them to all, and would use them again in the future.

Stellar work, these guys are the real deal. Short story: check engine light came on after driving to Tucson from Vegas, auto zone read the code and pointed to transmission. Found these guys on Google maps and they, rightfully, had good reviews. Went there and met Eddie. He patiently listened to what I had to say, checked the car himself, and didn't miss a beat asking if he could test drive the car himself with myself and my girlfriend along to point out what we were seeing. I troubleshoot for a living and his method was on point. The car is my girlfriend's and I quickly saw that not only did he listen to her, he never talked down to her, and he approached the conversation with the soul of a teacher. We both learned from him. He took care of us in a manner that would make Mr. Rodgers proud. While he wasn't able to solve the problem right there and then, he heard that we were trying to get home that day and suggested we get a Uhaul with a car tower. He even called a local contact to get the ball rolling for us. Simply put, you're not going to find this level of expertise and kindness often.

Eddie was professional, smart and explained things well. The only problem is they always say they are 4 to 5 weeks backed up. Hire more help.

After 3 weeks I was told that they would have to buy a used transmission and install without a warranty unless they rebuild which would add on another 800 to the 250 I paid for labor and not including the cost of the used transmission. The customer service could have been on top of things and give more accurate times but after 3 weeks it was time to go somewhere else

Eddie and Ronnie are Fair and to the point years ago I had a transmission fault on my Escalade took to AutoZone scanned it came back whole Transmission gone!! Never had any slipping or anything before just went into safe mode..I Slowly drove it to Aztec Transmission Ronnie heard my Story and didn't think it was Transmission issues so it took him 5 minutes to figure it out.. It was a Fuse!!! That was 9 yrs ago Escalade still running strong!! Also My BMW 7series was having transmission problems dealer said Total Transmission replacement it was starting to slip and the usual symptoms of a failing transmission..Took it to Aztec Transmission Eddie and Ronnie Took a look at it found out it was a leaking transmission hose and it was 4qts low desided to change both so far so good runs Stronger than ever!! Saved me 10k so far Thanks Eddie and Ronnie and Aztec Transmission for always Great service and far prices..Service: Transmission

I have taken 2 vehicles there since I have found them always been amazing service with zero worries about the job. I now live in Phoenix and would gladly tow a vehicle there to make sure it gets done correctly the 1st time with a fair price

Had them do a transmission upgrade and they had it done in 3 days. They even called to verify what fluid I wanted to use. Honest pricing as well.

Eddie over there is a transmission genius if you're looking for the best talk to my guy Eddie those guys over there and his team there's no stopping those guys when I was in a jam he was there for me they really make it reassuring because they're going to get the job done thank you guys for all the work you done for me.

Charged more than what they said it would. Changed the price twice. And of course they mark up about 30% more than the parts actually cost. They would not provide receipts showing they actually bought and replaced motor mounts.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission
