Patrick and his entire team are nothing short of amazing. Honestly, integrity, and a true mastery of one s skill set are a rare combination these days. This location was recommended to me by a friend and boy am I thankful.We purchased a used vehicle that wouldn t pass emissions. Prior to hearing about Astro on Ina, we d taken this to another transmission shop across town. Not only did they miss diagnose the issue, but they tried confidently talking my wife into an over $8,000+ transmission replacement. This was more than we paid for the vehicle. After paying a few hundred dollar diagnostic fee I reached out to friends I knew in the industry for a 2nd opinion shop. That s how I found out about Patrick and his team.Patrick s team found this was a small sensor failure outside of the transmission and had it fixed within a few days. Additionally, after hearing the car was new to us, their team proactively looked it over for us. They found minimal issues from wear and tear that I happily asked them to complete. The cost was about 1/4the the other companies quote AND the other companies repair scope wouldn t have even fixed the issue!Since, we have taken 2 of our other vehicles to Astro on Ina. The quality of work, customer service, and communication has continued to be outstanding. The pricing, more than fair. I will quite literally be telling everyone I know about this location.

Patrick and his staff are ultimate professionals and are very focused on getting the job done right and in delivering exemplary customer service. I have a classic car (1971 Olds Cutlass Supreme Convertible) that needed quite a bit of work to ensure road worthiness and a reliable driving experience. Patrick explained everything that was needed along the way and delivered for me and the Cutlass. Thank you, Patrick! I can't imagine taking the Cutlass anywhere else for service.

These guys were great, I was ready for a transmission repair, and they did not try to fool me, they reset the electronics and called me with the news that all was good and true to their word, car drives perfectly. Blair and his teams get a thumbs up from me every time!

It's a very difficult job to find a reputable honest and reliable auto maintenance repair facility, but I found one right in my own neighborhood. I recently had some work performed at another repair facility that made my Mustang worst than when I took it in. AAstro diagnosed the issue in less than half the time promised, gave me detailed information on the issue both verbal and email with pictures. They completed the work as and delivered my car as promised. I work with private and corporate jet aircraft and this is the type of service I am used to giving to my customers and I can say it is my honor to be on the receiving end of such excellent customer service from AASTRO. If you are looking for a reliable auto repair facility then look no further, my one visit made me a customer for life. Thank you Patrick, Paul and Isabel.

Patrick was upfront and kept me informed throughout the process of repairing and removing packrat nests in a car I purchased. I also had some other maintenance done and Patrick and his team went above and beyond my expectations. My husband took his Dodge 1 ton in to get his transmission rebuilt , 2 years and 3 months later ( 3 months after warranty expired) the transmission went out again. Took it somewhere else and they were surprised to find the Transmission filter fell off inside and the valve bodies were not done causing the transmission to go out again! $6669 dollars we spent at astro for nothing! Never will we recommend them or use them.Service: Transmission

The whole AASTRO Team (Ina Road) was phenomenal. From the time Ms. Emily checked us in to Mr. Patrick who kept us up to date with the issues on my older Yukon. The intake of your vehicle is a benchmark for others to follow suit on. They take pictures of your vehicle, annotate any issues, then update the information online for you. You are not kept in the dark, and everything is transparent, the way it should be. Patrick and the team are rock solid professionals and if you need work on your vehicle give them a try. Patrick and Emily are top notch. I always thought Patrick was the owner. I just found out it's corporate and he's a manager. No one I've encountered in Tucson cares more for their customers, the vehicles and the business than Patrick Cooley. This is a great shop for all your needs, not just transmissions. Highly recommend. Beware of neggy reviews. The only poor review I found was from a whiner who complains about EVERYTHING. Unlike most shops, Patrick will never try to sell you something you don't need. A truly honest man.

Appreciate your team's flexibility to take on unusual tasks, like clearing a plugged drain hole in the passenger door to drain out accumulated rain water and pine needles, and recovering the pocket knife my center shift console swallowed! Of course you all are already great at helping us enjoy miles of smiles by doing real heavy shop stuff!

Patrick Cooley and his team of mechanics and Emily at AASTRO truly are experts. You have a right to trust they will timely and successfully perform the work on your vehicle. You will find your trust was very well placed. More than that, they are friendly, efficient and a real pleasure to deal with. My experience with Aastro Transmission was excellent! I was from out of town and had to call around to find a shop that could fit me in. They worked me into their schedule and quickly diagnosed my problem and presented several options to get me back on the road. They had my truck fixed when they said it would be fixed and for the price they quoted. Between the service manger and the receptionist they kept me updated every step of the way. Patrick, Christian and the technician team are absolutely outstanding! I chose this shop after combing reviews of many places and I can see why everyone was so happy. I personally never take my cars in to get any work, preferring to do it all myself but I could not be happier with my decision. Both Patrick and Christian were absolute professionals and extremely knowledgeable. I am beyond grateful that they were there to represent the company. My absolute favorite trait of this shop is their commitment to quality. I highly recommend this AASTRO transmission & auto repair shop.The mechanics & receptionist are very knowledgeable, conciderate, & helpful. They do a free full inspection & give you a link to the report. I took my van in yesterday, they fixed my heater / ac issues & took care of my rear brakes & my van was ready yesterday & they are very reasonable. I've taken my van to several different mechanics in Tucson & I felt like I was taken advantage of, but I feel very confident with them. This ASSTRO is my to go to. I've got other issues with my van that I know they'll take care of at a very reasonable price.Thanks AASTRO

Coming to AASTRO was the best decision we made. Christian and Patrick were amazing from start to finish. They really showed they care. Everything was explained perfectly and they tried to keep everything within a reasonable price. Very honest and friendly. Jesus our technician did an amazing job on our car and it now runs so perfectly. These guys are the best, my old trusty mechanic retired and sold his shop and I'm so happy to have found Aastro. Christian is super friendly and helpful and Patrick knows what he's saying and will give it to you straight. I love the honesty and integrity, I trust them when they say something needs to get done and it's worth every penny. It's so wonderful to have a place to take our vehicles to and know that they're going to make sure it's safe for our family!

Patrick is always happy to answer all my questions about my cars issues. Any time I talk with someone over the phone they are super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly! I get the quality care that I need for my car and trust the people who work here, which is valuable to me! They are always looking for ways to stay within my budget and let me know what needs to be worked on due to safety issues versus other issues that can be postponed until a later date. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking your car here! They will take good care of you.

I use AASTRO for all of my vehicles. I asked Patrick about an exhaust emission concern I had with one. He could have had me make an appointment for a diagnosis. Instead he recommended an over the counter product I could use as a preventative. THIS is the kind of service AASTRO (on INA) provides. Superior in every way! Highly satisfied customer here folks. I can't say enough good things about the way everything was handled for my transmission replacement. The staff were very caring and professional. The work was top notch. Patrick and Isabel were super helpful and truly cared about my situation. They worked hard to make my repair happen in an affordable manner and keep me on budget. My van was even freshly washed and vacuumed upon pick up! Excellent Service at this business place.

The greatest experience with a mechanic that I have ever had. Patrick was very knowledgeable, polite and the process is transparent. The "Conditions Report" that AASTRO sends out is a testament to their commitment to keeping their customers well informed throughout every step of the process. The report contains pictures of the car and all of the parts in question are provided with thorough explanations of the state of the vehicle and suggestions for the work to be done. I needed the clutch on my 2007 Jeep Compass replaced and will undoubtedly be returning to AASTRO for any service needed in the future. Thanks again to Patrick and the team at AASTRO.

Customer service was excellent. Brought my 2000 bmw 328i in for transmission fluid leak. And tyranny made "clunk" when placed in reverse. Broken mount replaced and transmission service completed which fixed the 2 leaks. Communication was fantastic. Will be back.

one star is even too many. Had transmission had issue on our family car about a month ago, and I knew the name, so decided to bring it here. Started out friendly and did some diagnosing to the car, then wanted to disassemble it. after over $700 in work they told me it would need to be rebuilt and would cost nearly $9000. after they put the quote together it was over $7K (not including hard and soft part costs) with the $700 'discount' from the diagnostics. They told me all the reasons why it would be so expensive, but it didn't sit right with me. I called around to 4 other shops in town and asked for the max cost for a full rebuild and every other shop said $3500-$5000 TOPS. I even sent the work order for what they wanted to do to the shops and they were shocked on not only what they charged for certain things, but that they even charged at all for the minor stuff that they usually include in the work. When I told aastro that I wanted to take the car somewhere else their tune changed and they acted so surprised I found the service cheaper. Got the car towed to the other shop and when it arrived the transmission was in pieces in a box in the trunk. Really classy. Last time I am ever getting close to this shop, so be warned. And and in the end I paid the new place $4000 after all taxes and fees, and that included putting the transmission back together that Aastro failed to do.Service: Transmission

After visiting your website and reviewing the comments left by previous customers I decided to take a chance. I'm really sensitive about people working on my car because I've been taken advantage of in the past. When I came in and met with Patrick and Isabel at the Ina location it felt right and it reminded me of being back home in SC. Patrick explained everything to me and gave me options to repair my car. He was informative, helpful and friendly. It was nice to have him working on my car because he understood what it means to put customers at ease. The service was fast and no nonsense. Isabel contacted me when the repairs were done and was helpful when I picked it back up. I was even provided with warranty information on my parts, had a new appointment for a follow up and provided with addition issues to take care of in the near future. It was the best experience I've had since I moved to AZ. I will be back as long as they will continue to provide the excellent service. My regular reliable mechanic doesn't do auto trans work and recommended Patrick at AASTRO. I don't usually use chain shops for anything but figured if my guy trusted him I would. Excellent communication from the start and throughout the rebuild of my truck transmission. Recommended certain things be done from a reliablity and safety standpoint. In all, I'm very pleased with them. I will be going to Patrick for all transmission service work and will likely have him take care of some other minor issues instead of going to my dealer.

We have a 2018 f150 with the new 10 speed transmission, 150,000 miles and it was starting to struggle a bit towing a trailer. We could not find a shop willing to rebuild it either due to no experience with this transmission or possible lack of available parts. After a couple months we found a transmission with very low miles at a scrap yard. Buying it is a risky move but we had no other option, Aastro was the only one willing to swap it for me, normally shops wont do this as they dont want to be liable for YOUR part. I had a warranty on the transmission so I told them I would not hold Aastro liable if it didnt work and would pay for the removal again. You cannot expect a shop to install your part. They did the job which included reprogramming modules. and it was perfect, truck feels like it did when it was new. We will now send our vehicles to Aastro when the time arises.Services: Transmission, Transmission replacement

We took our car to the Ina Road location. Patrick is the manager and he gave us the royal treatment all the way through. He communicated with calls as well as photos and email reports of the work. I have complete confidence in his integrity and knowledge. I would highly recommend this shop.

I had so many bells and whistles going off in my car I thought it was about to just self destruct! I looked around online for a highly rated shop and found AASTRO.I have to say, they have earned their stellar reputation! From the very beginning Patrick kept me very well informed of what was going on and provided clear details on what they could do to fix it, and more importantly how much I could expect to pay.Unfortunately more issues were discovered while they were working to fix everything else, but Patrick was amazing at working with me to make sure I was not only satisfied with the price I was paying but that I would have a well running car when I left.I can't stress enough how pleasant the experience was in spite of how painful it could have been.Highly recommend Patrick and his amazing crew!

Did a pre-purchase vehicle inspection and Patrick and team did a very thorough job in checking the vehicle. They also explained it to me in the simplest way for me to understand the costs I would expect to pay if/when I decide to purchase it.I can never be more grateful for their patience and professionalism.
