Aaron's Affordable Auto initially seemed like a great place. From the start, they were responsive, attentive, and were timely. I got into a minor car accident (or so I thought it was minor), and I needed some body work done on my car.From the jump, they were able to give me a good quote and work with me. I gave them my car and then I received THE CALL. They had broken my car key. Mind you, I had never had any previous problems with my key before now, but the metal part had completed been split from the handle. They told me there were able to fix it but this was A LIE. I went and picked up my car all to find my key in disrepair. They tried to weld it back together but frankly they did a piss poor job. The metal on my key was bent (to the point where I could not push it back into the handle) and the plastic portion was a complete mess. It was completed cut and scuffed up from where they were trying to do the work.I told them I was not happy with their "fix" of my key because it was nowhere near the state in which I had left it with them. One of the staff members even told me that it would "likely break again" and they expected me to be fine with this. Instead of working with me, they have dragged their feet, ignored my phone calls (I have a area code different from Tucson's so I think they were able to recognize it), and made my life difficult. They stated they "weren't going to pay $400 to replace a key that was shakey from when I got it." I am not sure what that statement meant, because like I said previously, I had never had any other problems with my key. They simply did not want to pay for a brand new replacement key. I had even gone in 2 weeks after, because they had not followed up at all like how they said they would, and told them that I do not need a brand new dealership-made key, I would simply like a replacement key that is in the same condition as my original key I left them with. I was met with attitude FROM THE OWNER OF THE SHOP and complete disregard for my property. This has been ongoing for about 3 or more weeks now and still no information about a key. The owner has said he would get back to me after he "did his research" but I doubt he will.I will update if I do ever hear back from them, but I doubt it.UPDATE: Basically 3 months later I was able to get the key replaced . However they bought an aftermarket key that was not comparable to the quality of my original key .All for that key to fall apart, and I had problems with the programming of it too.UPDATE 2: A week or so after receiving the new key and it broke, we came to an agreement with the shop owner to split the cost of a brand new dealership key.After all of this, I am happy that after 3-4 months I have a functioning key, but I am most happy to just be done with them.PS. I hope y all see the sass laced in the owner s reply beneath. Firstly, my car is a 2008, in tip top shape (Volvo s are good for that I guess). I didn t mention my car year and make, but I guess they wanted to out me in that way for having an old car. Also, they still made me split the cost 40-60 with them for the new dealership key. So they really didn t fully pay for it, but hey! Like I said, glad to be done with them.-22/10 would recommend

On Monday morning, I called Aaron affordable auto to inquire about bringing my car there. A 2016 Ford escape. I mentioned in the initial call and every call after that. In my opinion it s having transmission issues.They agreed to let me bring the car in and said they couldn t get to it for about 24 hours. I looked at all the reviews, and I felt confident that we would be in good shape.After the car had been there for about 24 hours, I got a phone call advising me that the transmission was out. And it was throwing a lot of codes for transmission.They then went to tell me that they do not work on transmissions that they just replace them. And offered me a used transmission with 96,000 miles on it. For $6600 and some change. My car has 101,000 miles on it. So that s really close to where I m currently at.They were all really nice on the phone. But I don t understand why they allowed me to bring my car to them when they don t work on transmissions when I blatantly said on every single phone call leading up to me taking it there that I believe it s the transmission.I reached out to Tucson transmission, which is who aarons affordable auto uses for transmission issues. And they told me that nobody in town is qualified to work on that transmission including themselves. And continued to tell me alot of the time this particular transmission needs new pieces within it. And can be serviced. Which aarons denied.So i paid aarons 100$ just to read the codes and write an estimate to replace a transmission that may not even need it. I just wish they would ve been upfront and honest about them not working on transmission and save me the hundred dollars and some time. I would never go back here.

Out of all the shops I called in Tucson, all the wild quotes, calls not returned, and mechanics who seemed to not care enough to hear me out, I eventually called Aarons. I spoke to Jason on the phone then Kevin, both gentlemen were polite and were very knowledgeable. Got a quote that was very reasonable compared to most other shops so I brought it in. Met the owner Aaron while I was there and had a great interraction with him and his employees. Got the car back with zero issues and Aaron does a lifetime warrenty on his parts so I know i'm covered. I only go out of my way to write review on places that are either comoletely terrible or exceptionally good, and Aarons is the latter. If I ever need to come to a shop again for work Aarons is where i'm going and I highly reccomend anyone on the fence about where to go to give Aarons a call.

Just got my car back from the shop and so far I m very pleased with the service I got, my car needed more work than I thought it did so it wasn t a cheap fix but the owner Aaron explained the issue with the car and what needed to be done as well as working with me on the price and payment for the work done. Can t speak on other reviews but as for my experience I would definitely recommend this shop to others.

This place will rip you off. I went in they said my power steering is out & will cost me 1,400 to repair I went to a different mechanic and he informed me i just needed oil. I do not recommend as I kept having problems with my car they ripped me off everytime as I payed for diagnostic fees, my car was smelling like gas for months and they could never figure out what was actually wrong with my car.

These guys are GREAT. Fixed my truck quicker than I expected and everyone was very friendly and professional. I felt they were fair and honest. I recommend this shop and will definitely return when needed. Thanks guys.

They were amazing with my car!!I took my car on a Sunday, and was done by monday, they immediately knew what was going on with it and their job was perfectly done.And let s not forget to mention how nice they are with every costumer Would totally recommend

To start, everyone was incredibly nice and confident in what they do which is very good. I stopped in yesterday because my steering wheel wobbled while I drove. The estimate given to me had recommended replacing some 6 or 7 parts totaling about $2300. I don't think that was unreasonable, and it was very reasonable assuming my car needed all of that urgently but that wouldn't have solved my problem:When I took that estimation to Mannys Tire and Auto he said no way and looked at the parts on the estimation for free. They said I was safe to drive for another 3 months and recommended I replace 2 parts at that time. To fix my wobbling they checked the tire and found a tire bulge and sold me another.Then I left with my problem having been solved for $60 and got a 3rd opinion. They asked the right questions, learned about me and said the parts are survivable for a while and to check again when I get an oil changeI am giving 5 stars because I don't want to hurt the business, If a customer wants to fix an issue and the fix costs $60, fix it for $60 and then recommend the other stuff needed and talk about how urgent it is. I drive an ugly clunker, I don't need much. As a customer I should have asked how urgent each part is but I got sticker shock

They ve always been very fair to me on price, working with parts I wanted to bring in, and giving me accurate diagnostics.This is my favorite auto place and I recommend them to anyone needing car repair. The owner AARON and his staff has helped me through so many issues with my car. He charges $100 hour and treats customers well I never have to wait more than 2 hours. This place allows you to bring your own parts which saves you money but if you get the parts through this shop you have a good warranty and they cover labor. If you get there at 8am you are always in n out in 2 hours. Great reviews from others work is done correctly I don't use any other mechanic but this place.

Went in for an engine replacement. The engine I received had no power, lifters or something knocking when the engine is first started. I reported it to Aaron and he said he would replace the engine. I marked the block with paint before returning it to him. When I picked up my truck 4days later it still did the same thing.. reported it again and he said drive it to see if it would stop. It never has.When I first picked it up the radiator cover had no clips holding it down, the engine cover was missing and the throttle return spring was on the engine.. I noticed a film on my paint job so I reported it to him,he said it couldobeen from a tree. I was obviouse from some kind tover spray.I tried pulling an empty utility trailer and the truck starts to over heat.Run, do not stop at this place. Very shady place.I'm stuck with a truck that Knocks and I over heats after laying him $5000You notice he won't comment on this. I have proof. He said he replaced the engine under warranty but the engine still had the same pant on the block. It looked like they took sandpaper to the windshield to get the over spray off and all he said was I'll give you $150, you take it anyplace you want. He should've said I'll take care of it. This guy will look at you in the eyes and lie to you. Very dishonest. He won't even try to make it right.

I own several vehicles, so we are often at the mechanic for maintenance and repairs. In my family, our mechanic matters. Aaron's Affordable Auto goes above and beyond for their customers. Over the years, I have utilized several different mechanic shops. I am loyal to the businesses I choose until they give me a reason to take my business elsewhere. I have a vehicle that was in an accident and considered totaled by insurance. My previous mechanic shop agreed to rebuild my vehicle and I agreed to the price. After 3 years of going back and forth with my previous mechanic I was frustrated and decided to seek out a new shop. I had someone refer me to Aaron's Affordable AutoCare. I was skeptical in any mechanic at this point (Initially had a great, longterm relationship with my previous mechanic) and financially spent. However, I was completely invested in the rebuild project and too far in to give up. I made an appointment and Aaron talked to me personally (he is an involved owner, almost always onsite) about my situation. After some diagnosis my vehicle runs as expected. I really appreciate Aaron and his staff for taking the time to do a job right. With this said they are human and do make mistakes but Aaron stands by his work and goes out of his way to correct the situation. My whole family takes vehicles to Aaron!!

This place is awesome. I ve had a lot of work done on my car here and they did a great job. They let you bring your own parts which can save you a TON. The other parts you get through them tend to have lifetime warranties too!

Everyone wants to find an auto mechanic who is honest and does the job correctly the first time. Look no further--Aaron's Affordable Auto Repair is the place to go! You don't need an "appointment" to get service like at some places in Tucson. Aaron's prices are on par with other facilities. What makes this place the best, in my mind, is Aaron's personal touch. He will take the time to work with you on getting fixed whatever needs fixing without you having to promise "your first born" as payment! His shop is extremely clean as well. If you want your auto repairs done right the first time, take it to Aaron's Affordable Auto Repair!

This is my only car repair shop from now on. They are polite, professional and service is done on time. Aaron explained everything and answered all my questions. They beat every other quote I had by several hundred dollars, went above and beyond to make sure it was done right and that I was satisfied. My antenna was ripped off and they replaced it, they also added something like caulk, but safe for hot summer temps, to make sure it didn't leak. It did rain almost all of last night and and the inside is dry as the desert. The "vibe" is so positive and friendly. Everyone seems to get along great. I waited for the work to be done because I live way southeast and they are on Miracle Mile. So after 4 hours I can honestly say this place is awesome, they are honest and the prices can't be beat.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Just had my low tire pressure light come on, so I pulled into Aaron s Affordable Auto Service and they aired up my tires free of charge with a kind smile like I was spending hundreds of dollars. What a nice refreshing experience. Would definitely return.

I went in to get an estimate done on one of my vehicles a few days ago, everything was going great. Front desk staff is really welcoming, kind and pretty knowledgeable about everything that I was asking for. I waited a few mins in the lobby while I was waiting for them to put my estimate together, I over heard a man which I presume is their boss just start being very rude, cursing, and mistreating the front staff very loudly and angry for whatever reason it was. It seemed like a good place to take my business to. BUT after over hearing the way he spoke to them, I decided to just tell the staff I had to go and I would call instead. I walked out and simply took my business elsewhere. No employee should be talked to in that manner.

Had an issue while on vacation from out of state and Aaron's was a huge blessing. I received excellent service from the moment I walked in the door until I drove off in my vehicle. Diagnosis took only a few minutes, and repair was done in a matter of hours. Had a few little hiccups in payment and communication, but they were handled in a friendly and professional manner. Price was fair and came with no surprises. I wish I could find a mechanic like Aaron in my own hometown!

I received an amazing service from this business. I was in a bad car accident and the damages were disastrous, there were were numerous things needed to be fixed including the radiator and core. They were extremely helpful and kind in regards to service and pricing. The mechanic there really worked with me and understood my situation. They made sure I drove off with a vehicle that ensured my safety and was in great condition, I couldn t be more thankful. They have definitely earned a loyal customer out of me. My radiator, water pump,and alternator failed. I took my car to Affordable Auto Repair. They started on my car the next day. It was a big job as the engine needed to be pulled to get to the water pump. The work was complete in less than two days. I am so happy to have my beautiful Camry back and running like it always has. Aaron is the most honest mechanic I've ever met. I worked for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, so I know quite a few. I didn't know anyone here. My vans computer died after I got here. Another shop referred me to Aaron. This man went above and beyond for me. He figured out the problem and got it fixed. He ever did a few extra small repairs for next to nothing. I had a faulty alternator and he took it back where I bought it and got a new one and put it on. The final bill was far less than I expected or would have been charged elsewhere. Aaron has definitely earned my respect and future business. Don't take your auto anywhere else. Aaron's is the place. Honestly, trustworthy and very reasonable prices. I will never even think of going anywhere else. Aaron is AWESOME.

Aaron is a life saver,I have tried the rest .And always 55% dissatisfied withThe service I received from These other repair garages. And I have been to them all. You're given a quote, and no matter what the case is, He honors his word. Customers are treated with the highest regard.My Dad taught me about vehiclesAnd before I could own 1 I had to be able to repair it myself.To old to do it myself.After going to these big cooperate shops , and tons of disappointments , I brought my Baby Tahoe to Aaron's , we spoke about my concerns and he never once looked away from me , and actually listen to my every word.Communication is key for me.I felt like I was talking with my Dad. Aaron then did a diagnostic test and found all the things making my baby Tahoe sick.Got respect for having a little knowledge , And the price to pay to to fix her . Is way less than what I expected. I taking her in for surgery on the first of September. Aaron has been taking care of my vehicles for years now, and I never go anywhere else when I'm in Tucson. He's frequently gone above and beyond when fixes on my non-standard vehicle require extra work. He's super honest, tells me when something doesn't really need fixing, and sticks to his estimates. He's friendly and professional, and willing to explain things to me. And I've also found his prices to be a fraction of what other places want to charge. Highly recommended!!
