AAMCO on Ina has bailed me out twice now, for which I am exceedingly thankful. Both times I was told by other shops that I needed a new transmission for my 18 year old Subaru. AAMCO told me my transmission was fine and my brakes were fine.

I took my 2017 Lexus in for a transmission service they did a great job. The staff and manager are very polite and nice.

Went there with a transmission obd11 code, they couldn t find nothing, I did tell the that , I had a low voltage reading on my battery they checked it it was a loose connection. No problems since. Also they do a free inspection.

Help Have My 2016 Subaru WRX STi from catastrophic driveshaft failure. Didn't charge me a cent. Quick service fiendly and helpful. 10 out of 10. I would recommend these guys for many services. Best in town.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. I bought a car and had it only 5 days took it here to be diagnosed for a transmission problem that's common with this particular make and model and they diagnosed same day and discovered a warranty from the dealer for me to get it fixed. He was extremely helpful and I will use them for all my vehicles needs moving forward. I recommend them to anyone who owns a car. Five stars all around!! Jake and his team are awesome!! They were able to look at my van the same day I called, and rebuilt my transmission in just a few days once parts arrived. Just over a week all total, and for a bit less than their final estimate.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I contacted AAMCO for my foster parents regarding my foster moms pontiac. I spoke to Jake, who was so kind, patient and professional. He assured me that he would take great care of my parents for a reasonable price, and he more than delivered. The car was fixed quickly, the repair was affordable, even the tow from Avra Valley was affordable! I cannot sing enough praises about this place. Once again Chris and crew did a wonderful job on our Cube. We have had a transmission replaced, tune up and oil change done to our Cube at Aamco and am very pleased with their work and effort that they put forth. When I had the tune up done, Chris found a problem with a motor mount, IT WAS BROKEN! He replaced it at no charge to me. You don't find this kind of service very often and when you do you want to flood them with business. Our cars transmission went out on a drive from Texas to California. Because we needed to get back to California, we flew out and left the car with them. They worked with us over the phone and got the car back up and running. Once it was ready, I picked up the car and drove it all the way back to California on the same day. Worked out really well for us and we really appreciated everything Jake and the other guys did for us. Keep up the great work you guys!

Great place to get more than just a transmission repaired or replaced. The manager, Chris is a great guy to deal with. I have actually enjoyed getting our Cube worked on there. They are my go to place now and I couldn't be happier about it because I know I'm getting a straight deal. Thanks Chris.

This is, by far, the best AAmco shop in Arizona, honesty, professional, sharp, quality. They replaced the transmission on my Chevy pickup. Chris and the owner made sure that i get a rental when i turned in my vehicle. Chris kept me updated about the parts and the service. They did a great job. got done on time,Hats off, THANK YOU.

This Aamco is Awesome. My sister & brother in law have used this company for most of their car care needs & mechanical issues for a while & they recommended them highly to me. I'm glad I took their advice because they really know what they are doing & they are very fare minded & trust worthy. They helped me out tremendously. I give them 10 stars!

I wasn't a fan after several failed tries; however, if you get Steve you'll be satisfied. He was very diligent about keeping me posted on what they were doing with my truck. He turned a very negative into a positive. If you have my wallet you already have my attention. So, all I ask is let's make this work. Steve did that extremely well and he's very friendly. Thanks for all you did. I feel this company is really making that extra effort to keep the customer happy. In the future, I'll bring them my business. Management has shown they will try everything to make this work. Cheers.

Wow!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. We are driving from Dallas to Santa Monica to pick up a classic car and our slave cylinder went out in the middle of New Mexico and no one would replace it for us. Most people told us they were booked or don t work on Saturdays.Somehow we found Aamco in Tucson, booked it there by noon on a Saturday (rolling the truck so it would go into gear) and we were in and out in an hour and a half. The whole staff was amazing. They gave us cold water and let me bring my dog inside to sit in the AC. They treated us like family, and if lived in Tucson, this would be my go to place.Thank you so much!

After hitting a tire casing on the interstate I got home and noticed what looked like fluid on my tires. Next morning called AAmco spoke with Chris he said bring it in and will look at it. If there's a problem it may take a couple of days. No problem I'll get a rental car. When I got there was greeted by Chris told i have a rental set up just call and let me know what is found. I was just about to get my rental and he called and said come on back we found no problems. When I got back car was on lift and he let me see that there was no damage from the tire casing. He and the tech surmised the fuild could have been from the overflow from ac condenser. Will be using them for all our auto work going forward.

So happy with the fast and friendly service I received today. They were able to squeeze me in even though they were going to be closing early. FREE A/C check is amazing! And they recharged my A/C in like 10-15 minutes for such a low price! Very happy with my service. I will be coming here from now on. Other places don't seem to be interested in my business or have any customer service skills.

I usually don't write reviews but I just had to share this for anyone who wanted to know what Aamco was really like. Ive had a lot of bad experiences with local shops.. So like usual I was dreading bringing my truck into a shop but I knew it needed to be checked out. There was a bunch of work that needed to be done and the manger there helped me get back out on the road and created a plan for me to get my truck in tiptop shape. He was honest with me and saved me a ton of money! It's been difficult with the viruse but the guys at AAMCO have made my month way better, thanks y'all!Services: Transmission, Battery

I ve taken my car to this shop for over ten years. The staff and the owners are hard working, responsive, honest, and fair. I have 160k miles on my car because they have always guided me on maintaining my car. It was at about 120k that I found out it s actually a family operated shop! Even after I moved out of Marana to downtown Tucson it s worth it even with the Ina Rd construction to make it to this shop. Don t let Ina Rd detour you from making it to this shop!

I took my car there because I thought it had problems with the transmission. The owner Luis Ortiz totally took advantage of my lack of knowledge and stole $2,000 from me for work that didn't need to be done. I had to bring the car back 5 times and he never fixed the problem. I think him or his employees are homophobic, I'm visibly rainbow and was wearing a tail at the time, it's a free country after all. His employee scoffed at me. He lied to me and made me leave the store. Parts were broken from the steering column. He demanded full payment even though I already paid $1,000 and the transmission was still in pieces and he never finished the work. There was never any problem with the transmission, it was a problem with the shifter cable and the manual lever position sensor, the switch between the shifter cable and the transmission. Then the torque converter broke within the warranty period and he wouldn't honor the warranty. He modified documents in his invoicing system. He lied to his corporate headquarters and a judge so they wouldn't help me either.Check the Aamco lawsuit wordpress site, there are hundreds of complaints against this dishonest company.

Good prices in general but not good service. There's two guys at the front only one is doing anything. So if he's on the phone the heavy set guy just sits there with his hands on his belly. The guy that's working isn't very personable. Sounds like he just reading from a script. Try a different location is my suggestion

My truck was leaking transmission fluid I brought my truck in to AAMCO Transmission and they did a free diagnostic and me a reasonable quote for the repairs and had it finished the next day! I will happily refer anyone I know to go to AAMCO Transmission Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

My AC was not working properly so I thought it was either the cabin filter or needed refrigerant. I called and asked how much to TEST AC refrigerant and he said it was free. I made appointment and went in the next day. I was there for an hour! Really friendly staff tho but I thought what is taking so long to test this but they were kinda busy so I waited. Finally the owner hands me the keys and bill and says ok it'll be $50. I said wait, they told me it was free to test it. He said we emptied the old and recharged it for you, but they didn't ask before they did that. I didn't even bring my wallet with me. He gave me the keys and said don't worry about it, it was my mistake, I should not of assumed you wanted me to fix it. I told him I had to go get my card and I would be back. I came back because I wanted to pay for the work he did but he said really it's ok, I broke my own rule of not asking the customer before fixing the problem. Very respectful and good business practice! I trust that.

I took my 99 GMC Suburban to the Ina AAMCO to have the A/C compressor replaced. A simple job.....so we thought. There are too many details to include in the limited space given here. I will try to summarize.They replaced the compressor, but, the A/C did not cool properly. They kept the truck longer to find out what was wrong. They found a few things, fixed them and called me to come get it because it was fixed. I couldn't drive with windows up because the the A/C didn't work worth a dime. I took it back and they checked it out.Long story short, they had my Suburban 4 different times. each time telling me it was fixed. It was not. The last time they had it they did make some improvements and the A/C does work better than before, but, it is still not up to par. It takes a significant amount of time to "cool down" and when it does cool down it is when you're on the highway, not the surface streets.Luiz and his crew have spent a significant amount of time, effort and parts trying to satisfy me and make the A/C work as expected. I am however, resigned to conclude that they cannot diagnose the underlying problem and fix it.I appreciate the great effort that was expended and understand that sometimes things are just beyond our abilities.Luiz & Steve were professional and courteous, even when dealing with a grumpy and unsatisfied customer. They certainly tried to accommodate me and I thank them for it.I originally wrote a less than complimentary review. Due to their efforts to correct the issue I have rewritten my review and given more than a single star.Thank you, Luiz for your diligence and reaching out to me to make this right. You obviously want to protect your name and reputation the right way.

Truly take care of YOU (not just your car). They have helped me and my family with several car emergency situations that could have turned into a big deal. Instead they just calmly handled things, worked us in to schedule and had our car back the next day.

A little late in writing this but couldn t pass on the chance on telling Steve and his team how appreciative I am of all of their hard work and determination. I feel so safe driving my 2004 Ford Sport Trac because I know that the car is in better condition now that Steve and his team have done all the work on it. If you want honest and hard working individuals this AAMCO is by far the best!

These guys performed 3000 dollars worth of work on my car and broke several more items in the process. They left bolts and rags in the engine and refused to compensate us for anything afterwards. They were also unable to determine where the bolts went. We ended up doing the research ourselves to fix the mistakes they did. They did not return any amount of money to us and did not leave things cleaned as well as breaking mounts and battery cords in our car. Very unimpressed.

Absolutely wonderful service ! If we could give them 15,000 stars we would. Very knowledgeable staff was extremely helpful and very accommodating!!The only place we will ever take any vehicle to for transmission work in the future. That type of customer service from an auto repair shop in Tucson is unheard of!!!!!!!!
