I ve landed here a few times from vehicles breaking down. I can t say that I always liked the news they gave me, but they were honest. Sometimes I think the price can be a little more competitive elsewhere, but I will say this, if your vehicle is being towed and you don t know where to go, this place is a decent spot to land.They are also very fast at the repairs.

The work on my car was done on time and right. Brad is a master mechanic and I follow him wherever he goes. He's honest and he's been in the business a long time. He has excellent experience & knowledge.

I had a radiator problem with my truck and these guys had some good reviews compared to other places in the area. Keven the service Manager was friendly and helpful. They diagnosed my truck and even competed the work a day early. AAA Tucson Marana Auto Repair Center (AAATMARC) has again done an outstanding job of diagnosing problems with our vehicles and repairing them efficiently. We have had bad experiences in the past with other repair centers, so I think we will make AAATMARC our must-use choice for all things automotive.

Took them 2 days to diagnose that the compressor is no good. $231Than their quote for repair was$3900 and 20 hours of labour.I fix the car in different shop for $930 in three hours. They went above and beyond to unravel and repair the absolute mess that sierra vista brakemasters made of my truck. F350 TURBO DIESEL. IT took over 3 weeks for AAA to repair and/or replace spliced wires, damaged and disconnected parts. If I had gone to AAA first, it would have cost 2500 max instead of 7200 to repair brakemasters mistakes. Eddie and Brian were very dedicated and professional. Thank you guys. P.s. don't go to break masters in Sierra Vista

I recently bought a car that had significant maintenance/repair work done at this AAA location that was still under warranty. Check engine light issues have occurred twice in the last 9 months and both times I have taken the car in and Brian and his team have honored the warranty on the work and done their absolute best to diagnose and resolve the issues. The staff is courteous, their technicians are very knowledgeable, and the work is done on time and is top notch. I can't comment on prices as all my interactions have so far been covered under warranty, but what I can say is I will be bringing my vehicle back to this repair location when there is an issue. They were very transparent, clear, informative and professional. They did the job in the time frame they said it would be done. They explained "sugested" work that needs to be done. The price was responsible. Cheaper then the dealership. I will continue to bring my car here.

Amazing service and care of cusomers, honest and kind! Our car wouldn't start before we were to take a long trip and we had it towed here. The tested and re-tested everything, went over and above what their usual service included, and gave us some good advice before we started our trip. The guy who took care of us was Brian, and I can't say enough about him and how well he treated us. :)

These people are great! While I was there waiting for an oil change an employee at the front desk had to call a customer whose car had 190,000 miles on it and tell them they needed and almost five grand worth of work. The cooling system, cooling system fans, water pump and ignition system all needed replaced in orders to address all the problems they had described and wanted fixed. The customer said that was way beyond what they could afford and that they are we re going to look for a cheap used car.After the front desk employee hung up, someone who appeared to be the manager, who had overheard the conversation, came over and wanted a detailed explanation of what needed work. Then, he and the desk employee, and the mechanic who evaluated the car, began working on trying to get the cost down. The customer wasn t there. They did not need to do this.Being a mechanically inclined car guy, I know that some repairs require other repairs. And, other repairs just make financial sense if needed and you re in there. Add to that the fact that, on average, U.S. labor costs are among the highest in the western world (honestly, I don t think the average person understands or appreciates what goes into determining the end dollar figure they pay for auto repairs it s more than you d think). Nevertheless, these three cut markups, evaluated and kept only the absolutely necessary, and applied discounts and coupons the customer never had. All this unbeknownst to the customer. They had to be offering this particular repair job at a loss.Other discussions I overheard showed me that this is a well-run, honest, customer focused shop.What I witnessed literally renewed my faith that there were indeed reputable auto repairs shops, and I had found one.

When I arrived to pick car up the shop made the following account right! I appreciate what they did. Original review edited.I allowed the AAA tow driver to bring my BMW here. I had previously planned on having it delivered to local BMW dealership. Driver said they were fair and honest and worked on BMW. Also said I would get a AAA discount. The repairs quoted to me were $300.00 more than the dealership with my discount! I ended up taking time off work without pay to buy water pump and thermostat at dealership then deliver to AAA Repair to save $300.00! I was then told they would not warranty repair because I did not buy parts from them. Unbelievable!!!

After having my diesel at their Phoenix location for a long time, spending almost $4k to fix it and after getting it home finally.. discovered that there was still a problem and was referred to this location. Got the run around because they re always busy, finally got my truck in and they want to charge me ANOTHER $1500 for something that should have been fixed the first time! Still charged me $200 just to look at it! AAA is a scam

I work for a shop in Minnesota and recommended Marana to a vacationing customer as they are also a AAA shop. They looked over my customer's vehicle and gave him an honest answer for his issue. I will recommend them to anyone near Tucson! Thanks Brian!

I've been to AAA AZ Auto Repair three times for three different major repairs and I have been extremely satisfied with all three repairs!Carla (Auto Center Supervisor) and Eddie (Service Advisor) are both very professional, helpful and courteous, and they both go the extra mile to make sure the repairs are done right the first time.I have always been given a written estimate before any work was performed, andupon my approval of the estimate, the repair work was done professionally, timely and at the estimated price.The waiting room as well as the shop are both clean and neat, and when the repairs on my vehicle were completed, it was just as clean as when I brought it in (no mechanic's dirty fingerprints).I highly recommend AAA Arizona Auto repair--they do a great job, in a timely manner, and at a fair price.

After an inspection at the AAA on River/Orange Grove following the oil change, they found NOTHING that would point to a problem with my car. Eddie is a great coordinator, communicator, and troubleshooter. He suggested two reasons why my engine would "skip" and said bring it back in it if it ever happened again... This was a pleasant, cost-effective, very efficient wait. I recommend AAA Tucson Auto Repair to my friends who need honest car maintenance.

TERRIBLE service and Total Rip Off. They charged $125 to diagnose and then another $800 for simple repair that was done elsewhere for $150. They take advantage of women and tell them the car needs unnecessary repairs. NEVER go here they will lie to you and try to make you think you need to spend hundreds of dollars that are a complete sham. These people should be removed from AAA as they are unethical and liars.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I brought my Toyota Camry in to have an alternator replaced in April. The car was towed there by a AAA tow truck driver.They overcharged me claiming it took four hours of labor to remove a bumper replace alternator and put the bumper back. They also charge me to replace a battery terminal and as it turns out the very next day the car wouldn't start it needed a new battery so in addition to being gouged for 4 hours of labor for a reconditioned part not even a factory authorized part they couldn't even test and tell me that my battery needed to be replaced they're totally incompetent never go there.

I went for an oil change and that was fine but in the checking all other stuff on the moter they left off a screw on my air filter. I got a list of all they found my car needed to have repaired and i was shocked to see they wanted 19.95 for an air filter when I can buy it for 14.95 and install it myself and also for my cabin filter they want 59.95 and i about dropped dead when I went and bought it for 17.95 and installed it myself . I thought AAA was supposed to help seniors. I am 68 years old and female but I know something about cars and if I can do it myself I do. Please pass this on to females to question prices on some of their work.

Do not go here. Absolutely do not recommend! Total crooks they will rob you of you re money. A while back was due to have the starter replaced and they never replaced it. And took the money for labor . A year later found out my same old beat up starter was under my car. Took care of me just fine, but significantly over priced! Our car broke down due to a starter. We usually use another local shop that I trust. Tow truck driver convinced me to try AAA shop flaunting our discount because of AAA membership. We received a 15% discount on the labor, but the price was about 40% higher than anyone else. I will not be back, ever.

Too bad! We thought we were headed in the right direction when we joined AAA recently and saw that we had access to a AAA automotive repair shop very close to our home. We own a 2010 Honda Crosstour and normally have the oil changed at the Honda dealership ($25 with mailed coupon). Since we felt we needed an alignment also, we thought we would give this AAA location a try. Mistake #1! We were originally quoted $19.99 for the oil change. Within an hour or so we received a call and the price increased to $59.99 since the oil requirement is a synthetic. I contacted the Honda dealership where I have gone in the past and they said that the oil can be a blend. I called Eddie back and provided this information. The price then decreased to $45, which is still $20 MORE than the dealership offers with their coupon. During the first convo when the oil change price increased I was also told of about 5 other "money-making" repairs that were needed. I declined all and will go back to the Honda dealership and Costco (for tires) since I felt like I was being scammed. Typical bad auto repair experience where you feel you are being ripped off, however, this will be the one and only time AAA Auto Repair in Tucson will have that opportunity with us. Oh, BTW I dropped my car off at 9:30 am (scheduled appt) and I finally called the shop at 2 pm to check on the status. They hadn't even started the oil change since Eddie said it would take 20 minutes and the car would be ready in 35 mins (?). Good thing we weren't in a hurry and had another car to drive that day. I would recommend going elsewhere.
