Worst experience ever ! I would never recommend to family or friends to do business with this shop ! They completely left my Mercedes S600 in bad condition to where I had to get it towed after it threw out all the power steering fluid & from my ABC pump was left dry ! Causing the air suspension to fail and car dropped to the ground. My AC was working completely fine when I dropped it off now it s not cooling at all ! My front radar sensors are also not working as they disassembled the hole front end ! Causing me more stress then anything and giving me my car back in bad condition when nothing was wrong with the ac or front radar or the suspension! All it needed was the power steering pump changed out and the car is still making the winding noise ! As they probably didn t change it as they claimed to change out parts but don t even do the repairs correctly. They don t know how to work on Mercedes. They don t call to give you updates nor even know what to say when you call to get an update they just lie lie and wait till last min to say the parts incorrect and just give you the run around ! And give you the car back with 10x more problems . Left my car interior full of oil and also scratched the leather didn t even care to keep the inside clean as it was before dropping off . Now I have the owner calling me harassing me on my voice mail threatening me to sue me for mistakes they made and cannot even try to fix ! What a way to run a business instead of fixing your mechanics mistakes that they obviously didn t know how to work on this Mercedes! A small claim has been filed through small claims court. I wouldn t recommend to anyone if you just want more problems added to your car problems !

5 Star Emissions is just down the street from our location they re not only a great neighborhood mechanic. They are reliable price conscious ethical and extremely trustworthy. They re bilingual and have large accounts like Amazon. And they re extremely busy but always take time for that personal touch. Family owned and operated and very dedicated. Big thumbs DOWN!They talk more when working and wasted a lot of customer s times!Didn t do their job as it looks.Do not be fooled by 5 stars ratings!Find another place instead of this. If you find this post impossible to believe then why are those cars being wasted and left crowded??!! It has been that way for so long time.

I consider myself very knowledgeable about cars and sometimes I don't have time to work in my own cars and bring them to the 5 star shop. They are very good at pin pointing a problem without taking advantage of the costumer. I was looking for a straight forward, good, decent mechanic and I found exactly that with 5 Star Emission Repair.

These folks are wonderful. Completely fixed the emissions on my old truck that had failed emissions twice, and already been to another shop. They were fast, fair, affordable and super nice. Shop is tucked away in a group of warehouses, but don't get put off.

I failed my emissions test and took my car right over to five Star they replaced two sensors for $464 in under 2 hours Julio is amazing they're efficient they don't take advantage of you and now I will pass my emissions test I highly recommend this place.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Brought my old carbureted van here based on a Google search after it failed emissions a week prior. Brought it in on the last day of the month and Julio had the carb and timing adjusted and drove it over to the testing facility for me and got it to pass the test about 2 hours after I dropped it off. Price was very reasonable and it was money well spent as I didn't have the time to take care of it myself before the end of the month.

I brought in my 1994 camaro z28 that wouldn't pass emission. They found the problem and took my car and passed the emissions test for me! Super good experience here and I'll be back for more repairs.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

I habe not taken any of my vehicles there but as far as the people that work there are rude and they let their customers park on the sidewalk which blocks the sidewalk.

Scanned my vehicle and only repaired what was needed. Gave me a 100% guarantee that I would pass emissions. After failing twice with high numbers, I passed with super low numbers after their repairs. If you can't pass emissions, 5 star will get you passing! Thanks guys

Went in to get my classic Camaro tunes to pass emissions. I was told to come back in an hour, which I did, only to find my car had not moved, after arriving again my car was pulled in and tuned which was accomplished in under 5 minutes (I have been working on automiles for several years now recreationally so I was suspicious of the very short amount of time)I payed my 75 dollar fee, and proceeded to the emissions testing center where my Camaro failed immediately and worse than it had the previous 3 times I had taken it after attempting to tune it myself. I then immediately took my car back to this location and demanded that the mechanic do it again, and do it correctly, he then spent about 20 minutes tuning the car a second time where afterwards it did pass. The entire process took much longer and caused more stress than necessary to accomplish the ultimate goal, simply due to laziness.

I took my 1999 Chevy Tahoe in for and off topic repair. They noticed I had an oil leak quoted me 500 dollars to repair a oil filter housing adapter seal leak. This is a 30 min job and a 5 dollar part. They are what's wrong with mechanics. Charging people a fortune because they don't know.

They got my check engine light off in just enough time to pass emissions then it came on a few hours later so not really sure if they fixed the problem.

$250 for tune up which fixed my service engine light. Very quick and friendly. Good place.
