Great place!! I broke down at rest area. I had my Toyota Highlander towed to A&J Garage. What a great experience. Wonderful job, great communication. The cost was more than reasonable. Allan is a true Godsend. Honest and experienced mechanics are hard to find. You can tell he cares a lot about his customers, whether locals or not. He helped us diagnose an issue impacting our Honda while we were on the road from Cali to Texas. I wish he was located closer to home, can t recommend this shop enough. Thank you so much for your help, sir!

I had Alan repair the transmission on my Ford Windstar van. It was leaking and slipping pretty bad. I was referred to Alan by several friends in the Tonopah area. Did a super job in a very short turnaround time at a very modest price. I'm really sorry that it took me 65 years to find a mechanic this knowledgeable and honest. What every small town needs - a good, honest mechanic. Slightly off the beaten path, it's worth the mile or so of gravel road to get there. Allan stays busy with all the local customers, but never too busy to help out a stranded motorist. And don't expect a hard sell or unnecessary work just to pad the bottom line. He'll tell you exactly what you need, and when possible even offer options from "getting back on the road as cheaply as possible" to "doing it right".

Absolutely FANTASTIC place. My only regret? I didn t find out about this place YEARS ago. The money, aggravation & time I could have saved! One of the people I work for told me of a place she took her car. Regrettably a lousy experience on two occasions. I take good care of my car. It is old, BUT I like it. The last time after keeping my car for 10 days, it came back with the SAME issue, PLUS a new one. My car s rage were up in April. I never got my sticker. The place saw this & with my check engine light on told me I needed a whole new emissions system!! Very frustrating. I was told about a mechanic named Allan and was grateful to finally find A&J! Not only did he fix my issues, he diagnosed a question I had( that the other place said I would need to have my firewall taken apart to repair) NO COMPARISON ON INTEGRITY! I am not a rich person but like to keep my car up as I travel very far from home for medical reasons. I know a long review but I wanted to explain the difference between EXCELLENT SERVICE, ATTITUDE & HONESTY, and lousy service. I will NOT be going anywhere else BUT A&J! I am spreading the word QUALITY WORK & HONESTY are right off of 411 exit I-10. Very easy to get to! GPS takes you right there. And Allan awaits to fix any issue you might have, truck or car! Did a great job at a fair price. Got our motorhome which had been sitting for more than 10 years running great, and we've put over 2k miles on it since. Runs like a champ. Had another mechanic give us a check up and aside from an oil change they couldn't find anything that needed attention .

I had an emergency today traveling back to chandler from California with my 2 year old. They stayed on the phone and walked me through some things to try. I luckily was able to get my car to their shop and he helped me right away.Amazing customer service and i am willing to drive from chandler out here for future business.Thank you so much for saving me hours of time in the heat with a toddler. <3

Honest!!! Thorough explanations!! SO willing to help us out!! Didn't try to sell us something that we didn't need, like SO many other auto shops do. I was confident in his knowledge and talents!! If you're anywhere near Tonopah and need auto service, Alan's your man!

Knows exactly what hes talking about. Driving through Arizona from oceanside,CA to Indiana and he helped by directing me to the tire shop the next town over and putting my spare on for me with no charge. So grateful he was there to help!
