On Wednesday 12/20/23 I had rented a truck and trailer to head to Horne Freedom Ford in Thatcher, AZ which is approx 122 miles from where I reside. Had negotiated a deal to purchase a 2015 Chevy Spark EV (fully electric). Reason why I had to rent the truck/trailer was due to the battery range would not get me back to my neighborhood.Once arriving my Salesman, Ray, came out to greet me then walked me to where the car was parked. It was currently charging when we walked up to it. He unplugged from their charging station advising it was good to go. When doing my inspection of the vehicle I had asked what does the battery get at full charge. He advised 55 miles at full charge. I had some questions that I wanted to check out myself before moving fwd with even a test drive. Ray went back in to finish up with another customer.1st thing I did was take a photo of the dash once I sat down in the vehicle. Dash showed battery life was at 46 miles with max being 55 miles which matched up to what Ray had just advised. I still wanted to cross reference. I pulled up a video that had an owner of the same 2015 Spark EV I was in. I remember it distinctly cause in the video he was celebrating 80k miles with a battery at full charge of 55 miles. That was the magic # in my eyes. When Ray told me that s what the vehicle would get at full charge I felt like hey if I can get to 80k with a battery that gets 55 miles at full charge I could live with that, went ahead and purchased the vehicle. I advised to Ray exactly that once he came back out. The main concern was the potential of a deterioration with the battery but Ray made me feel at ease with the 55 miles.Fast forward to me getting home from Thatcher. Once unloading the vehicle from the trailer I parked it inside my garage and put it to charge. Woke up the next morning and noticed it only had 47 miles at full charge. I sent Ray a message on 12/21/23 at 8:54am in regards to. Later that same day at 2:26pm he replied, Yes, I get your concerns . The following day on 12/22/23 he noted in a response, I don t know what to tell you . On 12/26/23, the day after giving my wife her Christmas present, I sent Ray another photo showing now the battery range is only getting to 40 miles at full charge included a photo.Ray had management call me the next day on 12/27/23. I spoke with Payton Hawkins from their team. He was pretty black and white about what he had to say. I bought it as is and the dealership doesn t hold any responsibility plain and simple from his point of view. VERY unfortunate call to say the least. On Thursday 12/28 I reached out to Ray in hopes that we could figure things out civilly otherwise unfortunately I would have to move forward with filling public complaints. On Monday 1/15/24 Payton Hawkins, from mgnt, called me directly. He spoke with the Owner of the Dealership and proposed them purchasing the vehicle back from me for a little less than $1,000 that I purchased it from them for, not including my time and transportation fees incurred. So me losing about $2,000 not including I m sure them expecting me to get it back out to them.With all this being said I beleive Horne Freedom Ford either knew what the capacity of the battery was before I purchased or was ignorant in their sale which either way has elements of fraud. All I wanted was this to get worked out civilly not for it to go to the public or any further. At the very least for this not to happen to anyone else especially during the holidays.

I was very impressed by the personal attention that was given to my partner and I as we purchased her a truck. I had did a lot of digging to find what we were looking for. Ray was an amazing salesman to work with. It s a 2.5 hour drive from where I live to their lot. Well worth my time and fuel.Thank you, you have earned a customer for life.

Key programming.They charged me 75$ to program a 2010 ford focus that I brought on a rental trailer. 2 hours later they showed me a printed bill that said key programmed. Towed back the vehicle home and found out the key was not programmed. I called they service, they put me on hold (assuming they went to verify with the tech) they say the tech did even use the key to unlock the doors! That is the way I brought the vehicle in!So they said I could bring the vehicle back in and they will diagnose for free!I agreed!!.I did some researches and find out that I could use an OBDII to program the key in less than 15 mins!. Problem solve, now the Dealer is telling me that there is no way I could program the key at home. They don t watch YouTube I guess!. They want to see the tool I used to program the key then decide if they will refund the money. Ah.Also they are asking me when I will bring in my other vehicle for the recalls!.I don t know if I have to drive again 50 miles to that place to beg for my refund.

I had recently purchased a 2016 Chevy Cruze LT limited As-is, I didn t purchase warranty s due to me expecting the car to run when it got off the lot. They had told me that it has been serviced and maintained. When I purchased the vehicle not even two weeks later my check engine came on. I immediately called to inform them. The maintenance crew checked it out to see the turbo had went bad and told me that it would cost $1300 to repair. When brought up to the mangers they informed me that the lemon law doesn t apply to as is vehicles, other dealer ships that I have spoken too say they would ve fixed it for free since it does apply. Freedom ford then said that they would do nothing, I fought a little bit more for them to just split the bill over the situation. I would not recommend buying any vehicles here. They take advantage of people.

Worst car buying experience. Only to be told to take my car and they would call me when I got financing. I have purchased many cars over the years and have never been treated like this. I'll take my business elsewhere. I tried to keep my money local to support a local business. I guess I'll have to spend my money at an out of town dealership. Apparently they didn't want to make a sale. Don't waste the time to give these rip off artists business.

Zach, the salesman, had good advice when building the truck. He knew what the options were and knew why or why we would not need them. He also kept us updated on the status of the truck. After the sale he was still available for questions on items like Sync 4 and helped us install the tie downs in the bed of the truck.Ramon, the sales manager, helped us with financing, which saved us thousands.

The service department is fantastic. Bought a Bronco Sport from another dealer who threw in some accessories as part of the deal. Little did I know installing both fender flares and mud flaps would require quite of a bit of creative cutting which I did not have the tools to handle in my home garage.The service crew got everything cut to fit just right and installed beautifully. They stayed past closing to make sure it was done right but still only charged me for my original estimate amount rather than adding the additional unexpected time. I'll be going here for all my service needs from now on.

Best car purchasing experience I ve had-vehicle which I wanted was in stock with features I wanted, and price was better than prices found in the large cities. Salesman and finance officer were very knowledgeable and avoided high pressure sales tactics. Even given an excellent amount for my trade-in. I usually dread the new car buying experience, but it was a pleasant experience at Horne!

So, my husband purchased a truck right after thanksgiving 2020-from the start had had a whole host of problems. Found out the truck had not been serviced ever, even though horn freedom Ford said they serviced it. I got it over to New Mexico to a good diesel mechanic and I think the trucks going to be a good one now-but I have to say nobody has reached out to me from them and it was like working miracles just to get them on the phone to get the truck registered out of state I really don t recommend this place if you can find somewhere else to go I would. The truck I looked at online had runningboards when I went to go pick up for delivery it did not. I had to purchase those after sale myself. looked at my sales ticket they charged me $300 for tinted windows my truck doesn t have tinted windows I m gonna have to spend another $300 just to get the windows tinted so what was that $300 for the service that they didn t perform? Just smh...

This dealership if I could I would give a hundred stars. To the Horne Freedom Ford dealership, and every employee I interacted with. When issues are brought to the head management. He handles them so amazing, professional, courteous, explanatory, literally looked at the issue with me and my vehicle on a lift, of course ensuring safety precautions are met. Showed me what was wrong and exactly what is the deal. I was wrong for my assumptions in not only the issue. However my assumptions of foul play. I would like to sincerely apologize to who worked on my vehicle, the manager and every one at this dealership. I was truly not right in my assumptions. Their repair work on my vehicle every time resolved my issues. They re here to do all they can with what they can. That s the least they do and that says a lot. The atmosphere is so friendly, welcoming, truly even during any moment there is not a single bit of animosity or attitudes. Smiles and purely helpful information about your service issues and concerns, I truly feel their service performance, dedication to customer satisfaction, care for vehicles and their owners goes above and beyond any award can bring in regards to achieving any kind of recognition. Thank you for all the help and advice, as well outstanding care on my vehicle. Please if you own any vehicle, MOST IMPORTANTLY A FORD. I took my car to get it serviced here for oil change and rotation of tires. The service didn't take too long and the service guy questioned me on some small issues with my car that needed to be changed out like the air filter and coolant filter. He went over the report to me and explained everything that I will need to do in the future for my car regarding services. He did a great job.

Had a very disappointing visit to Horne Ford the other day. The saleman tried to make me believe they took the car I was looking at $100 over the max trade-in value so he couldn't budge on the price bc he would lose money on it, then also proceeded to tell me there were $7000 of additional additions they had already made to the car that were non-negotiable.Sorry buddy if you took the car above a reasonable trade in value that's your issue not mine, so you should expect to lose money on the sale. Next if the widow tint, etching and other additions have already been done and are non-negotiable that should be included in the price on the window sticker.

Ive purchased 2 previous vehicles through them in the past. After weeks of them bugging me to buy a vehicle, I finally commit to go in and buy a new truck. They put a lift and tires on it, without me asking them too and mark up the price a pretty penny. Either way, I'm committed. So they tell me my monthly payments, final price, trade in value and all that good stuff and I sign. Then I sit there for 2 hours waiting and nobody is talking to me. Figured they were waiting for a bank to get back to them. I'm already in the process of buying this brand new truck, just waiting on papers with all the details and fine print. But I can't sit there all day, so I tell them to call me when it's time to sign. While I'm walking out the door, I look over at my soon to be brand new truck, and they're letting other people take this thing and drive it around. This is supposed to be MY truck, that they built for ME! At least that's what I was told. Anyways, I'm just waiting on details to get finalized. And I still haven't heard anything back from them. Been waiting since 11 this morning and now it's 5. Anywhere else, it's in and out. I'm sick of these crooks with poor customer service. I'm shopping out of town from now on.

Service Department was excellent. Very patient and wonderful people. I highly encourage anyone with a Ford vehicle to register it for a Ford Pass on the Ford website. You can build points and use those points on Oil changes and new tires and save some money.
