It s always a panic when you need to get to work but your car won t start for some reason. Wayne was extremely kind and professional with each interaction I had with him over the phone. He was able to quickly tell me the problem over the phone based on the description I gave him, and gave me honest and affordable options for towing. He gave me a price breakdown of the service before committing to anything, which I appreciated.My husband took over communication while I was at work and what was discovered was what was predicted over the phone to be the problem. Easy and quick fix. I picked up the car after work and it was a quick and easy process. Wayne is just as nice in person as he is on the phone! He took the time to explain how the problem can happen and what to look for in the future. Amazing service

I ve finally found a great place! I came here for an oil change and they reminded me about a 50% off coupon I had asked about when I made my appointment, which saved me $40! I was nervous about the wait time when I saw all the cars outside, but they had me in and out in 45 minutes which means appointments actually mean something here, unlike other places. I waited inside and they had a coffee/tea bar, water, popcorn, a restroom, and even a little desk with drawing supplies for kids. I was really impressed with the customer service I overheard while I was waiting. They truly care about their customers getting the best deals and the best quality service. Friendly staff and they don t try to sell you stuff you don t need. I ll definitely be coming back next time my car needs service!

Sun Devil saved the day! My car has been intermittently not turning on and being slow to start. The battery is knocking on 4 years old so I knew it was probably the battery - I stopped into 2 auto stores to have it tested and each time they told me my battery was fine and yet it left me stranded yesterday. I made an appointment with Wayne and he had me in and out of the shop in under 35 minutes - and it WAS the battery. The shop dog Stanley is a wonderful addition to the team and I m actually looking forward to my next oil change so that I can see him. He sensed my nerves and was so calm and comforting. 100%- this place is the best.Service: Auto battery replacement

Friendly staff, good location. Not a lot of parking but they seem to schedule pretty well. Online coupons are nice. Overall great experience, will be go back for more maintenance. Thanks Chris!

I had a great experience with Sundevil auto they took care of me from beginning to end, especially with explaining everything on how the warranty works on how long my car will take and having patience I will say the mechanics did a great job. This location has great customer service, and everyone was very friendly. I would definitely come back in the future for all my car needs

I've been going the this Tempe location for years and have always had a great experience. The employees are very friendly and are happy to discuss any issues you vehicle is having before starting any service or repairs. Most recently I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. This includes a 78 point inspection on your vehicle. Everything was fine on mine, except some corrosion on the battery cables and terminals. I could have fixed this myself, but opted to have them do it for for a minimal charge. All-in-all, it took only about an hour for the whole process to be completed. Definitely will continue to go back for future needs and would definitely recommend for anyone needing anything from an oil change to more complex repair issues for you car.

I made an appointment for 08:00; when I showed up there were tons of cars already there and the phone was ringing off the hook but I was greeted promptly, given an estimated 1-hour wait (that was quoted when I made the appointment as well) and I didn't have to fill out a ton of forms (all info previously given over the phone). Chris (Service Writer?) was friendly but professional, handling phones and answering questions for the guys in the shop. The car maintenance was completed in just under an hour as promised.GREAT service. This was my 1st time at Sun Devil Auto on McClintock & Elliot but I will definitely go back and refer friends!

Great service! They were kind enough to squeeze my car in for an oil change. Any additional concerns about my vehicle were quoted and emailed to me before I picked up my car which I really liked! No surprises or pressure when I did pick up. Everyone was friendly and helpful!

Tried charging me $800 to replace a battery and fuse block. Told me it wouldn t be done for at least 3-days. Called Chevy myself obtained the block for $150 and battery for $200. Did it myself for half the price in less than an hour.$800-$350=$450. Saved $450. Interesting. Won t badmouth the shop, but I certainly wouldn t recommend them.

I ve been going to Sun Devil Auto for years and I have never had an issues with this company. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and they fix your vehicle in a timely manner. I will continue to get my vehicles serviced by this company.

I only came here because my friend recommended the company and sent me a really great coupon. Normally, I take my Kia to my dealership for the oil change. Now, I don't think I'll go back to the dealership. I was treated so great here, and wasn't made to feel stupid like some dealerships or other auto places tend to do if you don't really understand everything about cars. They were fair, courteous, and sent me a detailed report of my vehicle when it was done. Christopher was the one who helped me, and he was a huge part of why I want to come back.

I ran over a pipe on the freeway, my skid plate was broken, took the car straight to Sun Devil on 7th st. & Bethany. Carlos and his team helped me removed the broken plate, checked the bottom of my car to make sure nothing else is broken and found out that there was a leak. I knew about the leak but wasn't sure where it was coming from. Glad they found it so I took my car to the Sun Devil by my house in Tempe and took care of the problem. I believe Sun Devil employees are honest and know what they are doing. This was the 2nd time coming to this place and it was recommended to me by friends. I am recommending Sun Devil to YOU! Give them a try.

Chris and the team at Sun Devil were outstanding. They turned a crappy experience into a good one. I purchased a used car and the check engine light came on the same day. They did a proper diag on the vehicle instead of "Just throwing parts in the car" because he wanted to make sure it was done right. Welp, warped head..... he work with my vehicle warranty company to get the car fixed. The warranty company is a whole other story but Chris made sure he could squueze as much money as he could out of them. The car now runs excellent and I feel my money was well spent. THANKS AGAIN! There are still some honest mechanics out there

My first experience with Sun Devil Auto was good. They were prompt, courteous, and gave me a price estimate before I left. I liked that they sent the work summary via text and they called to ask before doing anything extra. The car was ready on time. They did an oil change and road trip inspection. Now I have peace of mind that my car will be in good shape for our trip. I would definitely recommend this place.Services: Vehicle safety inspection, Wiper blade installation, Oil change

I've been going to the Sun Devil at McClintock and Elliott for 20 years. Friendly, knowledgeable and honest. Best thing is they never try to upsell you and will help look for alternatives and the most cost effective repairs when appropriate. Prices are competitive as well. I highly recommend them.

This is like any other place but with a dog if you love you car take you car to another place this place do what they have have to do to get your money a family member have the car on the shop for almost a month and she get the car on worst mechanical condition than when she tekae the car for service don't waste your time and go somewhere else,,

Honest team of professionals! You can trust them to accurately diagnose problems. They won t recommend services or parts that are not needed! All auto repairs and maintenance are somewhat costly but Sun Devil pricing is fair compared with other shops!

1. I started going there earlier this year. They changed my catalytic converter but left the mount bad. Before changing my car has no shake but after the job car shakes crazy.Still I went there because they are the most time efficient in the area and responsive.2. Yesterday they changed my alternator but broke my coolant system at the same time. Got stranded just after 2 hours of picking up the fixed vehicle and waited 4hours for USAA roadside assistance.Never again. ByeWayne is very responsible man. He listened my complaints and was taking care of the car.

Took car in for free inspection of the struts and shocks as dealer said they needed to be changed. Car makes noises going over bumps. They did a visual inspection and claimed that struts and shocks are not needed. Then, when we picked up the car they said we would have to do a roadside inspection and that would cost money. This place is supposed to be recommended by the better business bureau, expected a lot more customer service. Plus, waited 1 1/2 hours for an $80 oil change. Is there any reputable mechanics in The Valley???

I had no problem getting my oil change they were friendly and let me know my air filter needed to be changed and I could do it myself or pay extra to let them change it.
