There is a good reason that this place has so many 5 star reviews. They are honest and have very fair prices. They charged me less than half of what the AAA shop wanted. Plus they only work on Subarus so you know that they know what they are doing.Unfortunately it takes a while to get an appointment but that's only because they are so good. They are worth the wait!! I saved $3000 by coming here (AAA quoted me $5k; these guys charged $2k)

Best service ever for my subaru outback wilderness!!! I called the local dealers, and it would have cost me 500+ to have my transmission fluid changed. Cost me 150 to have it done here and the staff was super helpful and very knowledgeable!!! They know subaru up and down!!! All makes and models too!!!

Update on SubiWorx: they re open 8-5 weekdays. Sergio knows about his website hours being incorrect. I had them drill out a broken head stud and rethread the hole. He took care of it for me quick and professionally. They re super good people and offer good service. If they don t answer right away, just know they re working really hard to take care of the clients there. Leave a message and they ll call you back.

I ve been taking my WRX and Forester here for yrs. This is the only shop I trust with my Subaru (and car modifications). I can t speak highly enough about Sergei and the whole crew at SubiWorx. They re always extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and take pride in their work. They do high quality and quick work, never up charge or do any unnecessary repairs and always try to find you the most affordable but reliable option.I ve had repairs done at SubiWorx where I know if I took it anywhere else, they would ve opted to replace the entire assembly rather than the root of the issue. I ve asked for service that wasn t needed yet, and rather than doing it anyway, they let me know and left it to me to decide. And many more experiences like this. It s almost unheard of to find such an honest and quality shop. They know Subarus inside and out. Thank you!

Great Subaru shop seems to know their stuff I've only been there once but I've been building modified Subarus with the help of places like this for over a decade. They installed an AWE track exhaust on my 22 WRX and even very nicely wrapped the old one and put it in my car.That customer service level of them packaging the exhausts was elevating them to the next level of service. This meant a lot to me because I have wrist injury right now and can't do any heavy lifting and I'm in the process of moving across the country shortly so this would have been difficult for me to do myself wrap the exhaust plastic and make it fit.Thank you SubiWorx!Nate

Con: they can be hard to get ahold of.Pros: friendly and courteous staff. Excellent service! I bought an old Outback with missing service info so I went in to have the timing belt replaced to be safe. Did not ask for any other service. They told me when I made the appointment that they recommend replacing the water pump at the same time since they are already there so did that as well. When they called to say it was done they mentioned the spark plugs were old and cruddy. Told them if it could be done quickly then go ahead. It was done before I arrived (45 minutes later). When I picked it up they went over the work plus they had done a big inspection. Told me the transmission was a touch low but had already had maintance work done and looked good. The diffs were full and clean. The head gaskets had already been replaced and looked great. The shafts and bearings were all in fine shape. They went beyond what I asked for and only charged for the tyranny oil. They didn't try to talk me into any extra work. Would have been easy to say they found issues since the car is older.I also overheard the head guy talking to 2 different ladies getting work done and he didn't try to up-sale. He didn't seem to be trying to tell them to do any work that was extra or unnecessary.I would whole-heartedly recommend them!

I can't believe it took me so long to find Subiworx. I've had nothing but troubles with my XT Forester and had spent almost $8000 between 3 different shops to "fix" her. Took her to Subiworx, spent a fraction of the cost and she is actually repaired! I will never, ever take my Subie elsewhere. If you have a Subaru, make the extra drive to Tempe to Subiworx, it's well worth it!

10/6/22: Down-to-earth, very knowledgeable, and great price for my 60k service.Update 9/25/2023: Sergei saved me some funds by giving me a used spare part he had laying around as opposed to having to buy new through genuine Subaru parts or from a dealer. What a guy.Lastly he also sells Subaru coolant at a much better price than the dealers, Amazon, etc.

These guys KNOW Subaru s! Can t say enough great things about the knowledgeable mechanics at Subiworx. They offer great service at a fair & reasonable price. More importantly they re honest & treat you like family. They seem to love your car as much as you do & that passion for Subaru s shines through in their work. Great shop for regular maintenance, mods, or custom fabrication.

Hard to get them on the phone, but they know their stuff when it comes to these cars. I plan on taking my subaru to them as other shops had my car for 3+ days & couldn't figure out the issue & these guys fixed it in less than 1 day!

First the pros: the mechanics at this shop know exactly what they're doing. They under promise and over deliver. I think the difference between what I was quoted compared to what I paid was around $400-$500. (i.e. They charged me Less even though I had already agreed to the quote!) That type of honesty, transparency, and business ethics go a long way and if only for that reason SubiWorx has my business for as long as I own a Subaru. The total quote (which again ended up being around $400-$500 more than what I actually ended up paying) was also thousands of dollars less than AutoNation - who seems to think they're in the same league of price gouging as BMW, Mercedes, or even Porsche dealerships. LolHere is the only downside of SubiWorx and why I'm putting 4 stars instead of 5 (but, again this needs to be weighed against their expert service and extremely honest and equitable pricing - if I could give 4.9 stars I absolutely would): poor communication.My car was there for over a month (which was expected) but in that time I never got an email about the quote and only got in touch with them twice over the phone and not for a lack of trying. The only reason I assumed my car hadn't been stolen or chopshopped was because it's not that valuable. LolI absolutely love the mechanics and everyone who works at SubiWorx due to their hard work ethic and integrity, but I also like knowing ETAs, and getting occasional updates be it via phone or email.Overall this business and the people who work there are 10 out of 10 for the work they do and the fair pricing they charge. My only suggestion would be to up their communication a little bit even if that means just a single email once a week or so.Regardless, AutoNation is dead to me forever after my recent experience with them compared to SubiWorx.

Long overdue Major Kudos to Sergei, Toby, Phil and the rest of the team here. I've been coming here for 3+ years with my "very high-mileage" 2001 Forester. As original owner I still enjoy driving it and just didn't want to give it up. In that time they've kept it on the road, while slowly refreshing it front to back, and have it in great shape and set up for many more years of reliable service.Subiworx provides honest expert service at very fair prices; Never selling what you don't need and catching what you do to keep up your vehicle. They love your Subi as much as you do.I'm grateful to Sergei and his team for keeping this old guy rolling along and HIGHLY recommend these guys.

I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my Subaru! I stumbled across SubiWorx accidentally when I was given their name by a different mechanic because the 2009 Outback I had bought the year before had started leaking oil. The warranty I purchased when I got the car was getting close to expiring, so I brought it in to a shop close to my house to get it checked out. The other mechanic had my car for a couple of days but ended up calling me because they said my transmission needed work but they didn't do transmission repairs. They gave me 2 names of mechanics in the area that did transmission work & would most likely work with my warranty company, one of which was SubiWorx. I called & talked to Sergei @ SubiWorx & he told me to bring it in so he could check it out. When I picked my car up from the other mechanic, they gave me a list, which was several pages long, of all the other repairs that needed to be done, along with the transmission repair. I brought it to SubiWorx & after taking it for a test drive, Sergei told me my transmission was fine. I gave him the "problem list" the other mechanic had given me & it turns out that a good chunk of the "problems" were not actually problems.That was 2 years ago. I just had to have work done on my suspension & I didn't hesitate to bring it back here. I will forever be a SubiWorx customer as long as I live in AZ.Sergei is honest & won't waste your time or your money. Read the reviews, anyone that has had work done here will say SubiWorx does excellent work. If you see a negative review, it's most likely because the person is upset about the phone not being answered. And yes, sometimes it's hard to get through at the shop, BUT Sergei will call you back if you leave a message. They are a small shop & are always busy, but that's because they do quality work & in return have a growing number if loyal customers. This is the best Subaru repair and performance shop in Arizona. I won't take my vehicles anywhere else! They are extremely customer-focused and usually open beyond regular hours to help with urgent repairs. They also do quite a bit of custom fabrication for off-road Subarus and have created several award winning vehicles.

Wow. This repair shop goes above and beyond without even trying. Their prices are fantastic and very very reasonable, and their work is impeccable. I would drive across state lines just to go to this repair shop. Truly kudos are deserved, thanks guys!

I would definitely not take my car here or have any work done here again. They say that they are so busy that than cannot answer the phone or even call you back, I brought my 5 speed here to have it rebuilt and i now wish that I would ve just done it myself. It took them about 2 months to do and it was very hard for me to get ahold of anyone, I ended up having to drive there after I tried calling and leaving messages almost everyday with no reply for weeks at a time, when I showed up he said they were so busy and that s why he wasn t able to reply he also said that they were waiting for parts and that s why it was taking so long. He told me before I left that the parts should be there the next day and it should only take a day to reassemble, 2 weeks later after that he finally responded to me and I got my trans back I put it back in my car and after about 1000 miles it started to grind gears. I let them know and I never got a response. Please do your own work or take your car somewhere else.Service: Transmission

It was definitely a struggle reaching anyone, never got through the phone and instead drove in person. Called while there and the phone rings inside a garage no one is at regularly it seems. Also, I really really did want to support a business other than the dealership shop and I understand smaller business have more overhead. But the price for just one maintenance item I needed was 3-4 times higher than my dealership which I was surprised by. I m sure they do excellent work as stated by other reviewers, and smaller business have more costs to deal with. Unfortunately, it was way too much more to be justified in my opinion as a former auto adjuster.

I've been coming to this shop for the last year for all of my Subaru needs. They are honest. They will tell you what parts need to be replaced instead of trying to convince you that you need thousands of dollars of unnecessary or premature repairs like Subaru dealerships will try to do. It can be difficult to find trustworthy mechanics that aren't trying to rip you off--I would highly recommend coming here for any Subaru services/repairs. These guys are incredibly knowledgeable. They are very easy to schedule with and have an incredibly fast turn-around. Never change, SubiWorx!

Seeing that I had a good experience from the get go with Sergei, was recommended by the parts guy a the Subaru super store in chandler. They are booked solid however the guys that work there are very knowledgeable and will steer you right. Do highly recommend you see them if you have a Subaru and it's no longer under warranty and want people that have the know how to get your ride right.

These folks are fantastic. They know Subaru s like the back of their hand, but most importantly they are the most ethical shop I ve ever been to. Their work is quick, reasonably-priced, and they ve never steered me or my partner wrong on the care and service of our cars (2016 and 2005 Foresters). I d recommend them over any shop, dealership or otherwise.

I've never experienced a faster oil change in my life, AND I have confidence that the work was done correctly! (Usually 3 hours at the dealership... and they find something else they need to order parts for...) Thank you, we'll definitely bring our other Subaru's to you in the future.

Sergei and the guys at Subiworx are great. Super honest, knowledgeable, and easy to work with--I had an electrical issue and they diagnosed it, fixed the issue, and made sure the car was running well, checked the OBD 2 codes, and made sure the air in my tires was correct. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys for my Subaru needs and I won't think twice to go to them if I need anything worked on in the future.Service: Electrical repair
