They restored my faith in mechanics. I will be taking any car I have here going forward. The quote They gave me was more than accurate and when they explained what was wrong with my car they did it in such a way I understood but without being patronizing. The women who read this will get that. Great service, highly recommend.

I wanted to give a big "THANK YOU" and excellent job fixing my 2001 Chev Tahoe with Alternative fuel running on propane. I had a failure during emissions not running idle on propane. I've checked many auto shops in the valley, and none can't help me. So, I've checked with Jon and he was able to get with Eddie to see if we can remove the propane system since it's over 20 years old. But Eddie inspected and recommend taking Tahoe to emissions and not removing the propane system. Was able to pass the emissions. I'm so HAPPY it's fixed and I was able to use both gas/propane. It gives me approx. 600 miles driving range. Thanks again Salem Boys!!!! Very helpful auto shop and highly recommended.

Ordered a bed cover, they called two days later to schedule my truck for installation. I dropped off the truck at 8 and they were finished at 10:40. They did an excellent job of installing the cover and it looks great!

Well, the Salem Boys went above and beyond on this one! They came over with their forklift and towed us into their bay for the diagnostic. Then solved the problem. Everybody was kind, professional, and oh so helpful!

Salem Boys are good at what they do. Took my 36 year old Nissan pickup in with some electronic issues tied to the motor. They dealt with readily. Extremely professional and technologically sound

I was just back to Salem Boys with a problem in my HVAC system. Just like all the other times over the years they handled the repair professionally quickly and at a very fair price. Very customer service driven.I would recommend every business has their work ethic.I do wish they had hours that would work better with my schedule as a teacher. (Still earns 5 stars, though! )

These guys are awesome! I have done business with them for a couple of years now, not only with my personal vehicles but also with our work fleet as well. The waiting room is clean and filled with cool stuff too. Would always recommend them.

You will not find a more honest shop. I drive all the way from SanTan Valley because of the trust and confidence I have in them. I love how they place all used parts in plastic bags and leave them on my front floor board.

Mary K.We just tried Salem Boys based a friend's referral for an issue that 2 other shops had misdiagnosed. We were impressed with their thoroughness in diagnosing based on the symptoms we described and what they saw/confirmed in a test drive, communication of what they found as the issues and suggested approach, professionalism, and pricing. They actually came in slightly under the estimate and the actual cost seemed very reasonable for the work done. They're not the closest, most convenient shop for us but we'll be using them as our shop now.Services: Steering & suspension replacement, Brakes

Wow, what a company! Do not go to this auto shop. As you see how they even talk to their customers on reviews that didn t get great service. How professional of them to speak like that. They really know how to escalate situations do any of these owners really know how to run a professional business?

I can't recommend the team at Salem Boys Auto highly enough. For the past 15 years they have taken great care of our Toyotas, Honda's, Audi's, Acura's and BMW's. I ask them to evaluate every used car we have purchase. In April of 2022 they performed a ~$2000 repair. In December the original problem surfaced again. They found that a part used in the repair had gone bad. They covered 100% of the labor and cost of a new part without question. I have no doubt they'll be working on our family cars for the next 15-20 years.

I used to listen to Mark Salem Saturday mornings, on KTAR. My favorite quote from him, when dealing with repair shops. Ask the service advisor " Is this a fix, or a guess?"A co-worker of mine, having steering problems with her high milage Toyota. Stopped at one of the "Chain" stores, being told it was the rack and pinion, at a cost of $1400. I looked at it, best I could in the parking lot. Rack and pinion looked fine, the belt slipping at the power steering pump, not so good!I scolded her, advised her again, to stop going to those places! I reccomended she take it to "Salem Boys". She's glad she went. They diagnosed, replaced the belt(s), advised of other needs (not immediate have to's) and got her back on the road, at a much lower price.I'm sure she will return to address some of those "Needs".Thanks Salem Boys and Girls too!

Alan and his crew are top notch! I would not hesitate to refer them to anyone. I was in the market to buy a diesel truck and brought them multiple vehicles that they were able to check for me. They were very accommodating and professional. If you re looking for someone to trust to work on your vehicle call these guys deserve your business.

Salem is the place to go if you want professional, friendly service.The shop itself gives a very professional appearance and feel. This tells a lot because if a mechanic takes that much pride in the shop, chances are that they take pride in their work. No, you shouldn t always judge a book by its cover . But in Salem Boys case, it is truly representative of the rest of the business.I have used them several times now and they are always on time, call with updates and have never tried to over sell me anything. They will tell you what needs to be done and what else they recommend. They have never told me that something HAS to be done and never made me feel guilty for not doing what they recommend.

I was referred to this shop by our long-time family mechanic since I just relocated to this area.I've got nothing but good things to say about this shop. They dealt with a dead animal in my AC (gross, I know) quick and painlessly. The cost was very reasonable, the shuttle was a great service, and they even worked on removing the smell to the best of their ability.Going to the mechanic is not something you typically look forward to, but I will definitely come to these guys again when another situation arises.

I've been recommending Salem Boys for years and years for a simple reason: they're honest, they're professional, and they consistently have techs with the diagnostic skills to figure out even the weirdest problems. And if that's not enough, their labor rates are extremely competitive, they're great at finding replacement parts other shops can't, and your final invoice never shows up with mysterious fees and add-ons. Give 'em a shot and see how good a repair shop can be!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Oil change

Have had nothing but the best of work from these People! It's really nice to know there are still trustworthy and reputable shops out there! I've got a classic car and I fully trust these guys to handle it with care for the work that I'm unable to do on it.VERY Highly recommended!!

Hands down best auto shop I have ever used. Honest, fair, professional, informative and high quality. If you value good quality work done right, take your car here and you won't be dissapointed. If you are looking for rock bottom prices and meaningless guarantees....take your car someplace else.

I bought a 2001 truck and immediately had front end issues. Had a local repair shop look it over and was quoted over $2000 to change all of the control arms. Then took it to a dealer for a second opinion and was quoted over $800 for a steering box. My neighbor told me about Salem Boys. Paid $130 for an adjustment to the box. Now its like a new truck. Thank you so much

I was referred here from another tire shop out of town. The office is very clean and well decorated. They have free soda and water- whaaaa. That s always a huge bonus haha. Every single staff member was beyond nice and treat every customer amazingly. They went out of their way to help me. My tire wasn t in stock, but they had it in their shop in less than 24 hours. Then when I came back to have it put on, I was in and out in no time. No hassle and nothing but a very pleasant experience.

I worked with Mark and Andi to get my 2009 sonata repaired. A lot of shops around the area were trying to charge me over $800 for the repair, but Mark and Andi explained what was wrong with my car and broke down the costs for me. I took my vehicle in to get a part replaced. I drove it in first thing in the morning and was given a ride to work. I called back during the day and it was finally ready at the end of the day, leaving me without a vehicle for the whole day.A couple days later the malfunction reappeared. I took it in again and Salem Boys agreed to replace it for free, with no labor costs. Again, I was out a full day without my vehicle.When I picked up the vehicle the malfunction was not fixed. I once again brought it in on another day and the malfunction was fixed permanently. The Service person told me that the part was fixed incorrectly the first two times but they figured out what was wrong and fixed it correctly the third time.They also said my cabin air filter needed replacing. I asked how much that would cost and they quoted $83.72. I thought that sounded rather high but I figured if they found something wrong they should be rewarded for finding it. When I got the bill it said labor was $44.80! How long does it take to replace a cabin air filter??? Were they counting the time it took the person to pick the part from the shelf and walk to my vehicle?All in all I think Salem Boys guarantees their work. I would just like anyone who gets work done here to check their bills for labor costs and to question why the cost was that amount.-----02/10/2016----Google reviewers: when making any purchase, whether it be for parts or for service, please get multiple quotes. Don't take my word for it, do your own due diligence to find the best price. In this case the part in question is a cabin air filter, not an engine compartment air filter. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the prices you find. :-)Or, if you prefer to do it yourself, you can find Youtube videos that will show you how to change your own.

WOW! Took my truck in the morning. They shuttled me to my job. They gave me free coffee. They were reasonably priced. They had the work done the same day. I don't know why anyone would take their car anywhere else. Salem Boys Auto; all day, every day. They have a radio show too so tune in!
