You will not find a more honest, helpful and knowledgeable mechanic in the entire Phoenix Metropolitan Area than Daniel. He explained everything and had to do extra repairs because he found some things wrong that I was not aware of and I appreciate him fixing it and giving me a fair price. I truly appreciate him and would recommend his services to anyone, you will definitely be in good hands. We contacted LAP Auto Repair and Maintenance for roadside assistanceAfter our vehicle wouldn t start and left us stranded. Daniel diagnosed the problem as a battery issue, installed a new one and quickly got us back on the road. He is affordable, punctual, very communicative and has great customer service. My starter of my truck died at work. I reached out to LAP Auto Repair and Maintenance and they were able to come out to repair my vehicle. They had a very busy day all over the valley, but they were still able to fit me in near the evening. They saved me from having to pay for a towing company take my vehicle to a mechanic. I am thankful for them coming out and fixing my vehicle.

Outstanding service! Daniel actually travelled to my place to repair my car. He is very polite and knowledgeable. Work was done in no time. He came out the same day, last minute! And his pricing is astonishingly fair! He s transparent and honest about the work and the price. I saved hundreds of dollars. My car needs more work done and I m indeed going to see Daniel for all of it! Thanks again dude. You re awesome!!

Dan was amazing. I called him at about 5:20 p.m. after a long drive to Phoenix for a show at the convention center. On the drive down my car developed a shake in the front end while turning. Dan's shop was just a few blocks from my hotel and he stayed and waited for me to get there with the car. He checked out the car right away and found the driver side front wheel loose. He told me he thought it was a tie rod or bearing that needed to be replaced. I had only one day to get the repair done before the show, so Dan had me bring in the car the next day and said he would have it done by the end of the day. As it turned out, nothing was broken and no part was necessary -- a mechanic who had worked on the axle a few days earlier had not tightened on the wheel properly -- something really small that was really dangerous, as the wheel could have fallen off. Dan was completely straightforward, transparent, fair and honest about the work he did. As it turned out, all he had to do was tighten a couple of bolts and that's what he charged me for -- far less than the labor and parts he had originally thought would be required. As we talked over the repair he showed a genuine understanding that doing his work right could mean the difference between life and death for his customers. The whole experience left me with a sense of trust in work and confidence in his fairness, ethics and kindness. I highly recommend him, and if I ever need a mechanic in Phoenix again, he's the person I'll call.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Tucked away in west Tempe is this garage, which will now be the place I bring my car for any future repairs. Besides being a nice guy, Dan is knowledgeable and communicates very well. He's honest and won't fix something just to make a buck. Have a conversation with him and you'll realize that this isn't just "a job" for him... he truly loves what he does. I can't believe it took me this long to find him but I'm sure glad I did. I've already recommended him to others! I was told in life you need a good bartender, CPA, and Car Mechanic. LAP took care of me and they ll certainly take care of you. Dan replaced my brakes and rotor at a significant saving than any other shop and did quality work. Dan did a great job replacing my front brakes and rotors on my 1998 Ford Expedition. He is very knowledgeable and has fair pricing. I'll call Dan if I need any additional service. I highly recommend him.

Professional and efficient service for front end inspection and brake job. We were told by a shop in N Scottsdale that the brake jobe would be almost $1,000. If I could give 20 stars I would! Dan is 1 of THE best mechanics! He s done my breaks, oil changes, engine work, had an issue w my trunk, he fixed it all w/o any problems. He very reliable and trustworthy. Any work you need done w/ your vehicle I feel more than confident recommending him. DAN IS THE MAN!!

I found Daniel on Craigslist this morning, had my car in by 12:30 and he finished in less than an hour. He is super friendly, knowledgeable and honest. The price was very good, and I'll definitely be back for future service.

Dan, is an awesome mechanic! I took my truck to several mechanics and no one was able to figure out what the problem was. Dan came to me as I wasn t able to drive. He communicated all issues before fixing it and broke down reasoning and pricing. He did a complete diagnostic and my truck has been running GREAT ever since!!! Definitely recommend this shop!!!

The shop is nice, clean and open. I go to Daniel for all of my car needs, whether it s breaks, engine, or just a general question. I trust his work and his opinion. Was referred here. Difficult to find someone in the industry you can trust. My estimate for repairs at one of the big boys was $3200. My estimate here was $700 and was told a couple of things on the $3200 estimate didn't need repaired and that they looked nearly perfect (shocks/struts). I'd recommend this mechanic over any others.

It was my first time using this company. Its hard to find a good mechanic these days. I was surprised how knowledgeable they were. Didn t fix the issues and said we might need a new engine. Took it to the dealer who said it was a sensor and broken oil cap - cost $200 to fix. Not sure why the reviews on here were so great... that wasn t my experience.
