I have had previous good experiences at other Gerber locations, I took my truck in to get several areas of damage repaired after a recent storm. While the office and location look rough, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Upon drop off, the customer service was great, i was promised twice weekly updates, and the repairs were estimated to take two weeks, but unfortunately, that is where the positive experience ends. I didn't receive a single update until about two weeks in when i started calling was repeatedly told it was in paint for the better part of 3 weeks, they waited until the truck was "almost done" to start chasing down a harder to find part, 31 days (after my rental coverage was used up) they finally said it was ready for pick up at 1:30pm, based on my experience thus far i gave them some additional time and showed up around 2:00 pm to pick up, waited an hour and a half, only for them to finally say i would have to come back to have my collision avoidance calibrated, then they pull up to show damage that the insurance paid for not fixed, a filthy interior with sand everywhere, some trash in the vehicle (neither of which were there on drop off) still had a metal sponge on the windshield and they cant even put a plate back on the right way. In my opinion, the root cause is that this shop takes on far more work then they can reasonably handle, resulting in longer wait times, and rushed QA. Just save yourself the hassle and headache and go somewhere else.

I took my truck here to get the driver door repaired after a storm. Had the door painted and window replaced.(window was not shattered just a bad gash it was unsightly) I got my truck back today with the interior completely trashed dirt every where as if they removed the window and left it outside during one of our famous dust storms. My driver seat is stained and and tons of dirt in all the cracks. I ve had the truck less than a month and it looks like a work truck that has been used for years.man who brought the truck out parked in a spot where I could barely fit so I didn t see the truck clear.You can tell someone tried to wipe it down so it didn t seem noticeable but I noticed it when I got home. And to top it off there s tone of orange peel in the paint the shop didn t even try to blend it out. And even on top of that there was a screw in my tire. Never again!!! Don t do it!!

So far I have used Gerber two to three times. Leave out as much information as they could through email to me as the process of fixing my cars we're being done. I will definitely tell other people the great experience I've had with this company I will continue to bring any of my cars for any work that needs.

I never write reviews, but my experience here was so bad that I don't want anyone else to waste their time here like I did. I scheduled an appointment to have my car looked at after an accident, and this location showed up as a certified shop under my insurance, so I came here. First of all, it took several days before I could get my car in, and when I finally got it in, they just took pictures of it and said they will return with in estimate on Monday since I came in on a Friday and their estimate person was out. Monday came, I didn't receive a call, Tuesday passed, I didn't receive a call. I finally called Wednesday, and the person I spoke to was extremely rude. He said the car was assigned, and he would call me back with an estimate in 10 minutes. He was being very impatient as I was giving him my contact information, and he never called back, and I ended up taking my car somewhere else, where they got it in the same day, and the customer service was top tier. Don't go to this place. They don't have any business and it's because everyone there is rude and half-way does their jobs.

These guys are great. Profesional and friendly team. Josh and the entire team was awesome.I brought my car here after someone backed u to me. They got my car in, evaluated, and repaired quicker than the original date. Repairs look great and the body man went the extra mile to make sure it looked great.Even better, they offer full service with Enterprise, so you can drop the rental off there and they'll do the rest for you (no need to call Enterprise, get a ride, check out there, come back to Gerber).Will definitely bring my car here in for any future repairs.Thanks!

I had a car repaired here when the insurance company gave me the address as their closest in network repair shop. The shop took four days to get my car in. Then they had it for about 16 days, 9 days longer than they estimated. Then when I came to get it finally, they took an hour to find my keys.The work they did looked good. Until my car caught fire and burned to scrap shortly after getting it back. My insurance says it is too hard to determine blame so they didn't pursue it. But how else would an 18 month old car catch fire randomly after a shop works on it, including electrical work?I say avoid this place at all costs. I am out several thousand dollars thanks to them.Addendum: the manager called to apologize and said he would call me back and never did. Not particularly relevant to the original issue, but strange that he would bother to say that and not follow through.

They had my car for a week they never called me to let me know what was going on I had to call them everytime I needed to find out information they took every thing out of my trunk put it in my back seat and didn't brother to put it back and it was my bumper they were fixing not my trunk other than that they did a good job on my bumper

I recently had been rear ended and didn't know where to go. My insurance company had a list of preferred companies and this one happened to be closest to me. They called and were very accommodating to my schedule. I went in for the estimate and everyone was very pleasant, helpful and efficient. I was in and out of there in no time. I scheduled a time to get my car done and they were also very efficient. Mo was in constant communication about changes to what we had discussed. I felt very good about their professionalism. The repairs were made and everything was done ahead of schedule. When i picked up my car she looked beautiful! I am so happy with their work. In addition they washed and detailed the inside which was a very pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend this company!

I was rear ended, the other persons insurance couldn t find a repair shop so I told them to take it to Gerber because I ve had other repairs done there. My car got there August 14, 2022. I didn t get my car back until January 11th, 2023. It took almost 5 months to repair my car when it was expected to take 10-15 days. I was not given updates during the process, I would try to call in but no one would answer so I would be sent to the national hotline. My mother eventually had to go into the shop and verify my car was being worked on. After that, I got updated once every 3 weeks. I got it back and missed a whole section they had to repair, so I had to take it back and they kept it another week.

I love this place!!!! They did an amazing job to say the least. My insurance company recommended them to me, and I am so happy they did. Not only did they repair the problems that were there from the accident, but they went above and beyond and fixed previous scratches I had on my vehicle. They also cleaned the inside and outside of my car and it looks brand new! The employees at this shop were exceptional. They kept me updated the whole way and by worked so well with my schedule. If you are on the fence about where to take your car, go here. You will not regret it!

This auto repair shop was outstanding. I damaged the front end of my 2002 Chevy Tahoe that involved the bumper, grill, fog & running lights, the hood and some other associated internal engine parts. My insurance company asked me to take it to Gerber for the repairs. I was a little leery at first but after meeting with them I felt okay. Am I glad I did!!! I worked with Sean who took care of managing the repairs. I have to tell you when I picked up my Tahoe it looked like a brand new vehicle. Everyone I have showed the vehicle to after the repairs were really impressed with the job they did. Trying to match 16 year old paint cannot be easy but they did it to the tee. Along with that all the gaps were even on the parts they replaced and nothing was loose or not installed correctly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing auto body repair. Hats off to this Gerber location, Sean and his crew on excellent work.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I was referred by one of my coworkers to fix my 17 Honda Accord. The Fender and Door was significantly damaged, thankfully Mo and his team gave me the best possible price ($500 lower than most other shops) and even touched up scratches on my car. They detailed the inside and ran it through a car free of charge. I've never had such great service from a body shop and will definitely be taking my car back if I have any issues!

Definitely will be coming back in the future if needed. They did a wonderful job and were very reasonable about prices. Nice and quick, took my car in from an accident I had recently and it was already done by day four. I was new to all this and they were very helpful on walking me through with any questions I had. Highly recommend!

My car recently sustained damages from another vehicle, the insurance company provided me a list of shops I could take my car and I selected Gerber and I'm happy I did. The staff at Gerber did an outstanding job, you couldn't tell my car was hit. I received up dates via text and phone calls from Moe about the progress of my car. The staff at Gerber are friendly and professional, I would highly recommend anyone who need a repair to take it to their shop. Thank you Gerber for taking such great car of my car. You all are absolutely the best!

I was involved in a minor accident a few weeks ago, and the team here on 3rd did a fantastic job of getting my car back looking better than ever, and even faster than the original estimated time! (updates happen through optional text, email, or the team will never hesitate to call)The level of detail and care really shows in the work, and while I hope to never have to go back, they will always have my business if anything else comes up. A+!

Sal and his team in Tempe took great care of my car. My only complaint is that I didn t take it to them sooner.They honored their warranty without any questions or hesitation. They were friendly and paid great attention to detail. Definitely a team that stands behind their word and their work.

Mo was awesome to work with and my car repairs were completed and ready to go only a week after the collision, ahead of original schedule. They also managed to completely clean my steering wheel and some of the other leather interior as a courtesy as well as buff out some small scratches on the top of my vehicle.

My grandparents were in an accident and they brought it to this shop. Unfortunately they were not feeling good when the car was ready as it was done earlier than expected and weren't able to drive to pick it up. Moe the estimator kindly offered to personally deliver it to their house. It was a huge relief for them and they were very pleased with the work done on the car. Not only was the car done early but the customer service received and the concern from him was really great. Hopefully we never have to use them again but I wouldn't hesitate to if needed.

Went to go pick up my truck and not only did they take it apart and not put it back together they handed me parts from a Ford and I have a Durango so I would NEVER NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!

Made an appointment for an estimate and wasn t told until I arrived that they don t do self pay or take Progressive. Front desk employee claimed she called me the day prior, however, I have no miss calls or voicemails. Additionally, she was very unapologetic. Avoid this place.

Dave really goes above and beyond to make sure your car is fixed as good as new.I had some serious damage done to my new Civic, and I literally have to show people pictures of what it looked like, because it looks the same as the day I bought it from the dealership now.10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for body work on your car.

Top notch service! I highly recommend this place if you have any sort of car body damage. The customer service I received from the Moe and the GM David couldn t have been any better. & the job Moe did on my Honda was grade A! It s never good when you ve damaged your car but these guys give it sort of a bright side.

I was in an accident on 10/24 and had my car towed to Gerber. I received texts that my target date was 11/24, Brian called to let me know it could possibly be done a week earlier. On 11/20 Brian lets me know I can pick my car up on 11/24 which was my expectation anyway. 11/24 comes around and I'm about to be off work at 4:00 but I haven't heard anything so I call. They let me know that my car won't be finished until the following Wednesday or Thursday, okay fine. They even pay for a rental car for the days I won't have my car following the target date (reason for 2 stars instead of 1) I also still had to pay $24 a day in added insurance with enterprise (the rental car company they sent me to which cost me $200+ after how much longer things took) Wednesday comes, nothing. Thursday, nothing. So I call Friday and ask what the status is, they let me know they are waiting on the battery and it would be done that night or the next morning. Saturday, nothing. They are closed Sunday. So Monday, in the middle of my work day, I call to ask what is going on with my car. They tell me I can pick it up Tuesday. Tuesday comes, Brian calls and lets me know my car is ready and that I will only be paying my $500 deductible. I show up to pick up my car and am charged $582.64. I explained to the girl that I thought they were only charging me my $500 deductible because of how much longer they took to complete my car, she doesn't care. I don't care, I just want to get my car and be on my way. She hands me my key and I ask where the rest of my keys are, she tells me they don't have them. I insist they have the rest of my keys so she gets someone to look for them. After waiting, they find my keys. Upon leaving, I notice I don't have an antenna anymore. I call and ask them if I can have my antenna (that part of my car wasn't even damaged) they tell me they have to order a new one. Fine.It is now Saturday, I picked my car up on Tuesday, and my battery light comes on while I am on my way to my second job. Which is funny because I figure if I waited an extra 3 days for them to figure the battery out, I shouldn't have any problems with it. I call to let them know, they ask if I can bring it in on Monday because there are no techs to work on it today.I dont want to take my car back to Gerber and be out of a car for another month or have to pay for another rental car. This place does not deserve 5 stars. I am a patient person. I understand things happen. But my experience here was ridiculous.

I went there to get repair done for my Toyota Corolla 2013. I got a new front bumper and i was going to rate 4 stars because I drove a couple days after I picked up my car and the fender liner was loose and poped out when I was driving on freeway. So I went back to the shop and get it fixed for free. Sean was very nice and professional. I supposed to picked up my car in 4 days but he emailed me saying "sorry, the part that we ordered is alittle Delay". So he extended my rental for a week. My car look new :) I like when people are nice and polite. 5 starts.

I came by on a Saturday after I crashed my car into concrete. My side panel was bent and was rubbing against my tire when I turned. I asked for an estimate for the cheapest solution as I simply don't have enough money to repair all the damage. Instead of trying to get me to spend money, David just used a tool to unbend the panel to where it used to be. I can't even describe how thankful I am for their help! I can still drive my car and save some money to repair it now.

After my accident, I was recommended this location by the other driver's insurance company and I'm glad I went with them! The staff was friendly, all their promises were met (the car looks brand new) and they made it very convenient for me. Thanks Sean and everyone else at Gerber!

Super friendly staff and repairs were done perfectly. The girl at the front desk even helped me put my car key back on the ring so I wouldn't mess up my nails, haha. Much appreciated!
