After research tires for my Tesla, I became very frustrated and unsure of the best tire for this car. After recalling my experience with this particular Discount Tire when I had a flat tire on the freeway with a different car, I decided to visit this specific branch/location.Although I have been a longtime Discount Tire Customer, I had become disdained with the service I was getting at another location.I m so glad I did not give up on Discount Tires. The team here provided me with in-depth knowledge of what is needed for my car and the performance of the various options I had. I was able to make an informed decision and purchase a high performance tire within my budget.I scheduled my installation and was quickly serviced with the professionalism I have been use to receiving from Discount Tires. They were even so kind to put a little shine on my tires. It s the small details that matter.This location will now be my primary choice in servicing my tires.

Perfect Experience, Very Professional, Quick Service. Was treated well during the visit. Had a flat tire, and they were able to change it, along with the back & and notice a possible blowout with the front passenger. Excellent Service!! Kudos to the team 100 percent!!

Excellent customer service, straight-up with tire recommendations, and efficient tire mechanic. Had a screw on my tire and got there before closing time. After a quick assessment, the assistant manager fit me in. The repair was within minutes. I expected to be turned away, but they took care of me within 15 minutes.

When a slight change in plans leads to your husband and you going to discount to be there when they open is not how you want to start your morning. However this place rocks it with organization, timely manner, and customer service. Andrew and the crew opened their doors, greeted us and got to work. Highly recommend!!!

Came in for a patch job, the tech came out and told me the tread looks a little worn but it's in the range they can work on, but I'll need to wait an hour in queue. An hour passes, and he comes back, and now he's saying the tread is too low to work on, and I'll need a new tire and started offering me options. After wasting an hour of my time I wasn't interested. Took it to Tempe Honda for a replacement since I have a warranty and the guy there said it was definitely able to be patched, but they replaced it anyways.

I was able to make an appointment online to fix a flat from a nail. They were very kind and professional. It turned out that both of my rear tires had nails in them. They repaired both tires and didn't charge me. This is something that my husband would normally do but he was sick. I am grateful that Discount Tire made it as easy as possible.

DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THE LOCATION ON ELLIOT IN TEMPE.I went in to get a pair of new tires mounted and balanced that I bought through TireRack (which is now owned by Discount Tire).I walked in with no problem, and walked out with a major problem. Two problems actually. They stripped TWO studs on my car on the same wheel.The customer rep who was handling my transaction came over after the work had been in progress for a while to tell me that one of the studs was stripped and they weren t able to get the lug nut back on. He claimed that it was already like that . Put a pin in that, we ll come back to that one.As it s getting later and I m the last car there, the tech comes in from the garage and talks to the customer rep and I can overhear him saying that a SECOND STUD is now stripped. So they both disappear into the garage area. Quite a while later, the customer rep comes back out all smiles to tell me luckily they were able to get one of the two back on, so at least now I have 4 out of 5 lug nuts holding my wheel on. Definitely don t want to drive with just three! Really? I would prefer to drive with the five I came in with Then a third guy, a completely different tech, says to me with a straight face replacing the studs is an easy job, most mechanics will do it for free . That turned out to be a huge lie, one of at least two lies they told me.When I took the car to my real actual mechanic following this episode to find about replacing the stripped studs it turns out the estimate to do that work was over $200. I asked him if it s possible that it could have been previously stripped. He told me that it doesn t work that way. He said the techs at Discount Tire were probably rushing and didn t have it lined up and stripped it. I asked him again, if it s even possible that it was stripped before they took the lug nut off. He said if it was stripped and somehow had the lug nut on it, they would not have been able to get it off. They would have had to tear it off.So the story about it was already like that was another lie. Two different lies from two different people.The problem was finally resolved a MONTH LATER when I went back in with the estimate from the mechanic with the intent of having Discount Tire cover the cost. I will give credit to Javin (a different person who was not involved when I was there before) who offered right away to have the cost covered by Discount Tire at one of the mechanics they have an account with. He may be the only person working there who can be trusted. Maybe he should be running the place.I find it unbelievable in retrospect that they did not offer to cover the cost of the repair and make it right at the time that it happened, and instead chose to lie to me.I ve never worked in a tire place, but I m pretty sure that taking off and putting on lug nuts is part of Tires 101. On the first day. Probably the first 5 minutes of the first day. This place has people working there who are not even competent to do that. Their only business is tires and wheels and they can t even do that without breaking something.As if all that isn t bad enough, when I called before going the first time to ask how much they charge to mount and balance new tires, they gave me a price of $25 per tire. $50 for the pair. When I got there they told me it was $90. But not knowing at the time how badly they were about to mess up the job, I agreed because I just wanted the damn tires installed.

An employee wanted to make a sale instead of taking into consideration that I needed to be somewhere by 6, I was quoted a certain time and in 4 hours my car hasn't been touched, meanwhile customers that have come after me have come and gone.

Been coming here for 15 years strong and I have never had a bad experience. The staff is polite, even on high volume days. Taking care of people and theirs cars should be their motto. They do just that.

I have been to several Discount tire, the one on Elliot is the best. Staff is excellent, they are experienced and honest to give you all the information. I got great service. I am not sure about names but Joshua was one of them i think. It s a great place to get right services.

I ordered a tire that they didn't have, and the guy told me very formally that he would be there on Saturday. I ask my husband to call and ask what time I can go get my tire to which they replied that it would be there until Monday. ok no problem!!!! Monday 11am they call that I can go put my tire on. I arrived at 11:10am, how long does it take? 30 to 45 am was 12:30 pm to put on a tire that was ordered since Wednesday. and to make matters worse I needed to go to the bathroom, I saw how a mr. He hurt his hand because untrained workers put the tires on as if they were riding an SUV and when he opened the tires they flew off. An Anglo-Saxon boy with gray shoes thought he was the manager and didn't want to get his hands dirty when others with better appearance and demeanor served customers very well.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE AND I CAME TO FEEL THAT IT WAS BECAUSE THEY WERE DISCRIMINATING ME FOR BEING A WOMAN, FOR BEING HISPANIC AND FOR NOT 100% fluent in English.

Great service everytime. I've been going to this store for 20 yrs. Made the mistake one time for what I thought was a great deal. That was a mistake. This particular store stayed open after 7pm for me several years ago as my truck was towed there. 2 flats. 1 spare. No hassle or attitude. Just replaced my tires. Great service.

Was in and out quick. Went down to get a tire that I had for barely 5 months repaired and when the tech came out to check it, he pulled the screw and no air leak. It didn't even break through the tire. Service was friendly too.

These guys are awesome. Let me explain.*I have been going to Big O Tires on 720 E Baseline Rd for over 6 years. They got a new manager 8 months ago and I have had nothing but trouble from him. I was jerked around on 3 separate occasions, regarding the same set of tires. The problem in all 3 involved the manager. I also got no response from corporate when the problem was escalated.To make all of this worse, no other Big O Tires can take over the situation. They require all problems to be resolved by the initial store.Long story short. I decided to give Discount Tire a try.No appointment needed and they told me 45 minutes for a brand new set of tires. They finished within that time (definitely not Big O style - I waited 2hrs45mins for a flat repair).Everyone was friendly and helpful.I hate to say something bad on a good review.The only thing I would change about Discount tire is for them to do alignments because you should always get one with new tires. They did offer a shop that turned out to be a great option just down the street.

Let's talk about the rubber meeting the road. I buy tires often because of personal use and business use. I have bought tires from them for years now. They can make appointment times. The also do Walk in. You can be sure they will not try to sell you anything you don't need. They will inform you of the best choice for your driving and budget. They have amazing full replacement warranty you can ask them about. I used mine it saved me $260.00 from a blow out. No questions asked. Call them and check out the service.

Came in originally just for an air check. Kaden was great at helping me. Unfortunately, one of my tires was so low it was a safety hazard to try to fill it. Sure enough, he found a big chunk of metal lodged in the tire. He was able to scan my tires as well so I just had to walk in and wait for an appointment. Anthony at the counter was super patient, nice, and helpful. We found my tires under warranty (certificates) and then I just had to wait for them to be put on.My one suggestion to Discount Tire please improve employee working conditions in the heat of AZ. For the air check lane, can there be a pop up tent for shade and maybe a portable plug in swap cooler? Cooling towels? Maybe have employees wear white discount polos shirts instead of all black? Just some ideas to think about. It s hot in the summer in AZ and I m sure small changes like these would help. Thanks!

Do not come here... They destroyed my $2000 custom rims after buying tires from them. It took 5 weeks to get a check from them to replace them myself. Not good customer service in my opinion!

Absolutely love the service and the people at this location. I bring every single one of my cars here including my GT-R and this team takes great care and great pride in what they do.They use all the right tools, low profile jacks to keep from scratching my car. They consulted on me with the look and feel of spacers to ensure proper fitment and aesthetics. Down to the details of the lug nuts, valve stems, and a gloss shine to the tires before I took delivery.10/10 will use them for every one of my cars moving forward.

Slow service and caused damage to my car Scheduled an appointment to have my front left tire check out since it was losing air pressure. The appointment was at 8 AM and the tire was not replaced until 6:00 PM that day, wasted my entire day being stuck without a car to run errands.To make matters worse, I have mentioned the front end of my car is very low to please be careful with it. I noticed the car was making a scraping sound driving home but didn t take look underneath since it was dark by the time I got home. Checked underneath the car the next morning and noticed the engine cover plate is completely damaged which I know it was not like that before and I m very certain the damage was caused when the car was drove onto the rack.Unfortunately I had to leave town and was not able to take the car back immediately so they can take look at the damage and I m sure it s probably too late now which means I m stuck paying for the repair at the dealership.I'm very disappointed to say the least and definitely will not take my car to this location again and would not recommend to any of my family members and friends.

I stopped at this Tempe (Elliot Rd) Discount Tire location to have my air pressure checked. The guy that checked and serviced my tires was nice and courteous enough. However, unbeknownst to me he was stealing my metal stem caps (see photo). He took all 4 and replaced with the standard black plastic versions. I guess he assumed that I would not notice. I just realized it today. Probably not a high dollar item, but it is the principle that matters. Be aware, there are thieves employed at this location. :(
