I came in to do an alignment and talked with Scott and his character seemed off but I sat down as I waited 2 hours for the alignment and I noticed he s just a serious man. Over all he s professional and does his job with a slight snacking & TikTok phone pauses here and there but over he s okay! Employee John works wells and is attentive to customers. Ended up canceling not bc of the wait but more technicians sitting around and it s disappointing.

I have taken my vehicles to Brake Masters for quite some time. I received true recommendations on required services and my service was always done in a timely manner and their communication was always clear. The team was great! The staff was always friendly.

A big thanks to the amazing team at Brake Masters on Mill Avenue in Tempe!!! Our brake pads and rotors were compromised and needed replacing. It was a Saturday morning and we needed to return to California the next morning. Scott and John went above and beyond the call of duty to find the needed parts, order them and replace them the same day! The entire team was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. Thanks for your exceptional service! We wish we had a Brake Masters in our home town!

These guys are awesome. A few days ago, my brakes completely stopped working. I knew I already needed to replace the brakes, but I m also in a tight bind financially and using the car for extra income.Adam got the car inspected without an appointment within a couple of hours and let me know I needed new front brakes and the rotor on the driver s side was completely dead. Brake fluid needed to be flushed and I also needed an oil change. He gave me an estimate and I checked with my budget to see what I could have them work on.Adam ended up helping by changing the oil, installing new brake pads, and a new rotor. He also said that there was a caliper that was physically stuck from all the wear and tear, but he was able to take care of it without charging me anything.Adam managed to get everything I needed done to be on the road again safely with the cash available. You guys made my year! I ll be coming back for life

I would advise everyone to stay clear of this place. Take your business and money elsewhere. They are scammers,time after time I have tried to give brake masters chances and they fail everytime. I will never go back there after this last time.They don't fix the problems, as well as caused new problems my vehicle. Twice now they left off my battery tie down. It is gone.They have now failed to fix the coolant leak for a simple hose.I had an oil change and now leaks oil from the oil pan.I also had a power steering pump replaced.The new one broke in two days.I took it back to them and they put on a second pump.Now four days later this second replacement pump it is now broken. So I still have the coolant leak,a broken power steering pump still and now a new oil leak, and no battery tie down. They charged me $1600 for all these parts and labor and the car and zero of the problems fixed and is worse than before bringing it in. Other prior times they forgot to replace batter cable clamps,forgotten to close off brake calipers so the brake fluid gushed out and I was losing my brakes as I was driving,almost lost my brakes completely.This last time I watched for six hours in the waiting area.I had an appointment and the mechanic spent about fifty minutes total on my car in those six hours. He would be laughing and chatting and eating pizza listening to music. He would then go work on walk in oil change cars and come back to my car to spend five minutes on it,then leave it. When the work on my car could have been done in an hour...They try to nickel and dime you to death.They make your car messed up or never fix the issues or cause new ones so you have to bring it back to them ....Please stay clear of these scammers that don't know how to fix vehicles ,only con people out of their money.

Too good care of my son s brakes and did necessary maintenance. Another car shop told me I needed much more work done than was necessary. It s good to know Brake Masters doesn t see a woman walk in and want to take advantage, and try to run up charges. I appreciated their honestly . We will be back.

John and the crew installed a complete front and rear suspension kit on my 2018 Ford Fusion. It was a huge job and it was finished on time. Everything was correct and after I installed new tires the car drives like a brand new car.

I took my Infiniti to Nik 02/03/2923 HES THE BEST TO EVER HELP ME WE ARE CUSTOMERS FOR LIFE SPECIFICALLY because of him. Go to Brake Masters in Tempe as I have including on May 3rd, 2018 to drop it off, overnight. I have the brakes replaced (rotors & pads) Josh was a huge help, which is a huge turn around from the last time I had my brakes replaced in August of 2017.He was upfront & professional while displaying constant courtesy. Shocked so with great pride I can say this place is a 110% the best auto repair or brake shop in the area. It s hard to find a place dedicated like this Josh and his guys,(once in a blue moon people)You got my vote, your level of standards is awesome.The brake master team here in Tempe, Thank You.It s hard to find a good honest place to go. Sensational, a word that barely touch sthe surface regarding the level of Quality, Honesty and Care the gentleman of this establishment consistently put in on a day-to-day basis. Upon my arrival to Brake Masters #155, I was without a mechanic let alone a meticulously clean establishment that welcomed me as if I were a regular who had been coming to them ritually for years. I felt an overwhelming amount of compassion, brought me in as if I were family. With such a vital item within everyday life, such as your vehicle. You want the upmost comfortability and security when problems arise. Craig and the guys at Brake Masters store #155, truly delivers such a experience and delightful feeling and so much more. If you have anything of an issue, or just simply need a welcoming Q and A, this is the family to go too. Thanks for everything gentlemen.

Disappointed and surprised in the work that was done. Had to take it to another mechanic after the 3rd breakdown. After looking at the replacement parts they either rubbed because they shot the threading for the screws or they didn't replace it. Also oil pan was not sealed correctlymultiple screws were missing etc.. there is more but this is getting long. I was glad the engine came through without issues. I was going there for a handful of years but would be wary of large jobs and request to actually see the old parts they replaced and have the work looked over.

The website said the oil change was $23.99 and I requested that when I made the appointment, but was charged around $46. Not sure why the site says one price but the actual cost is more, but I didn t say anything about it. Still very good, and quick service. The service advisor was friendly and knowledgeable. My car was returned clean and the oil change was done correctly. I will definitely come back, but will just make sure I confirm pricing before starting the work.Service: Oil change

I was not happy with the service, I explained there was noise coming from steering wheel and brake masters mis diagnosed my car and I spent $6,000.00 on new suspension and still had steering issues finally took it to Lexus dealer and I spent $5,000.00 on New steering column should have beendiagnosed correctly by brake Masters and they won't even apologize much less provide a voucher not happy.

Nick is the best hands down! I've been looking for a trustworthy and efficient place and now I'm glad I found it here with Nick. I took my car in (came late to my appointment due to delays) and Nick promptly helped me. He topped off the oil in my car quickly and I was in and out within 15 minutes or so. If there is anything wrong with my car, I'll be sure to bring it to Nick for the best care. Thank you again!

Told me my truck would be done 2 1/2 hours ago and three other people that came in they also said the same thing. All they had to do is put on a seal for my front and rear differential and it took 12 hours. Our business will no longer services our trucks with brake masters and no one else should either.

Always thankful to have this store right down the street! I've been doing business with this shop for about 6 years now and have always been treated with respect and care! I have had multiple services done throughout this time and every staff member has been respectful and honest. Today, I had them replace one of my blinker lights due to my lens being shattered and they were quick and accommodating. I've had my car in here several times from oil changes to brake services. Never had a problem. I had taken it to a different place for convenience to have the oil changed and it was brought to my attention that my oil pan / drain plug screw had been sealed with silicone.I was made to believe that it was done maliciously and possibly brought severe harm to my car rendering a $500-$800 fix. Upon calling Brake Masters and speaking to John to find out why this was done without my knowledge and that I was possibly facing a costly fix he called his DM who told him to assure me that the situation would be made right.Took my car back to Brake Masters and Nick (mgr) explained the reasoning behind the sealing. But, because it wasn't communicated to me ( which it should have been ) and caused a lot of unnecessary worry Nick made a point to do the oil change for free. I am so grateful for Nicks kindness and going above and beyond to give me peace that the job was done well.

The crew at #155 has being nothing but AMAZING ! Very reliable and great at what they do! I feel I am in great hands, being single mom, sometimes you can get taken advantage of. But they are very knowledgeable and very truthful. Nick was awesome. He & the team diligently worked to fix the problem in my vehicle so that I was able to pass the emission test. I appreciate all the work that was put in to help me. Professional, friendly. Took care of business in a timely manner, reasonably priced w a lifetime warranty on brakes.I want to update my review. I paid for front and back brakes a number of years ago. I just had to replace my back brakes,my front brakes are perfect still. Seems the back brakes they charged me for were never done. Seems I still had the original back brakes on there.Won't go back

$32.95 + $22.00 + $3.00 = $57.95 but wait, minus $20 so it's $37.95 plus fees and taxes.Mind you, that's more than the advertised price for the oil change WITHOUT the coupon. Can you imagine paying SIXTY DOLLARS for an oil change? When you can go almost anywhere else and get it for half that, or even a third of that?It's not even luxurious service or fantastic oil. There nothing special, they just charge an arm and a leg, and if you have a coupon, they find a way to track up charges to basically negate the value of the coupon.Extremely dishonest. And no, I won't be calling you to discuss it like all of your canned responses invite me to do. You call me. The invoice # is 84250. Find me if you care make things right, and I'll take down this review. In the meantime, I will do my best to make people aware of what you do and how you get away with it.

DONT GO HERE! I had my catalytic converter stolen and I took it to them to confirm that it was. They told me it was fine and I just need new exhaust and should straight pipe my car. It turns out that my converter was gone and my new place was extremely confused on how they didn t know that. The lady up front is also very combative. I don t recommend this place at all.

I had much more wrong with my brakes than I had realized, and not nearly enough money to fix it all at once, and the team here at Brake Masters was so kind and empathetic while I was having a very hard time figuring out what to do. We eventually found a solution that got my car just fixed enough to get back on the road safely, within my budget, and within a time frame that I can come and get the rest fixed next week. I truly felt so much weight lifted off my shoulders when I picked up my car and the quality of my brakes was so much better, even though the work is only halfway done. I can t thank y all enough. I look forward to coming back next week to finish giving my car the TLC she needs.Service: Brakes
